Dr. Berg you have changed my life. You made me realize that I had adrenal fatigue my whole life and am insulin resistant. I know take supplements for the adrenal fatigue and have been following a ketogenic diet. I am 5 foot 8 and 138 pounds now! No more pms depression and severe anxiety over everything. Thank you so much

Guys healthy lifestyle. Mindfull eating, eating and working out at the same time everyday (or 3x times a week, depends on YOUR needs), be very careful and mindful with exercise. Breathing exercises - very important!, no coffee, no snacking, no bad sugar, not too much fruit, not too little, probably keto diet, but dont ditch carbs!!! Healthy carbs required, intermittent fasting - depends! not for everyone, beef soups!, fresh salads,no gossip, no negative towards yourself or anyone, supplements - B1 in nutritional yeast, Mg, potasium Worked for me I SWEAR

I can’t thank you enough for this! I’m tearing up and releasing some stress realizing I’m an adrenal type. I can now see how I got the way I am, and it wasn’t from overeating. It’s my stress response and no sleep. Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

He could teach maths and he would teach insulin was the cause of the problem! When insulin is in fact a natural and healthy reaction and no natural healthy foods are a specific problem, everyones is different and not everyone is insulin resistant keto can be a pretty tough and damaging diet also.

@@AxelSituation Dr Berg combines many disciplines and scientific knowledge with multiple international and ancient schools of belief in health. He also is accessible to the world and presents everything in everyday language, medicine is a whole new language and he is a great translator. The most important thing to remember is caring and sharing to benefit humanity is not a competition. Competition is an anathema to our biological and spiritual make-up. One of the healthiest things we can do is to release the thought of fighting to win, beating a fellow human, feeling superior to others. There is an evolvement in the science and art of healthcare, the more accurate information we have, the more we can find. Each person draws a map for others to benefit from.

Wow..this is exactly what I needed, I have been having an issue figuring out my exact body type , even doing the body type quiz, once it was 33% on 3. I'm definitely not an overy type..I wouldn't mind more on this. But got your point, and being on keto &IF is a major change in my operating basis & a step in right direction, 3 weeks in my body is changing..its gonna take time, I'm doing it for health &repair , the weight loss is fine at about 6 pounds so far. Thank you, I look forward to continuing this journey.

I used to have asthma attacks so frequent when I was younger and once they put my on a steroid I started eating more which added to my sugar addiction and started gaining weight. But adding to that my cycle was very unpredictable. I’ve tried different “diets” and some worked some didn’t. I get close and then hit a wall. My journey is not over not even close

I have three of these, extremely high stress, medication and insulin resistance. I am also predominantly immobile, so felt stumped. Not stopping me from doing the best I can. I am ensuring a high level of anti-infammatory and analgesic foods in the meal, L-Lysine, VitD3+K2, ACV, San Pellegrino when we can access it.Keto, a challenge being vegan, but pleasantly doable and everything organic, or wild and it is coming off! I just watched a video from 7years back and the difference in you between the two is jaw-dropping. You look much younger now, more vibrant and definitely more focused, but the biggest shock is your irises, they are a different colour! Iridology theory wins on that one. Amazing. Thank you so much 🙏🏼

My issues started in the 1990's with low thyroid. In 2007, once I had my ovaries removed I gained huge amounts of weight rapidly. At that same time both of my parents died within 60 days, my fiancé broke off our relationship, and other familial relationships went into the toilet. I have been over 200lbs for over 10 years. I seem to be an emotional eater, had my gallbladder removed - now experiencing high blood pressure and high LDL. I get confused by exactly what to do. I feel that there are too many issues to overcome. I do not want to be taking statins and blood pressure medicine. What direction should I go in?

My daughter was born very premature. That is when I started gaining weight. I also was eating poorly, high carbs and sugars. I already have a fatty liver I think mine were adrenal because I was in survival mode for months and with that stress i then became the pancreas body type that led to the fatty liver. I’m now working on managing my stress levels and I’ve completely removed sugar and carbs. I’m excited to know why and when now to correct it! Thank you Dr Berg!

Goodness gracious me, how far back do you go? I'm 55 now and I think my current body shape, weight and fitness began at birth. I cannot think of a time when there wasn't major stress from something going on in my life. Then I reach 51 and finally put all those demons behind me including nicotine and alcohol only to become addicted to sugar. I now have a mixture of 4 of these body types. I don't have the basketball belly. But I think my liver is unwell due to insulin resistance. 1.5 months ago I cut out sugar, carbs and oxolate veges. I guess I would say I'm doing the ketovore lifestyle and it's working for me. All the pain I was experiencing in various parts of my body has 95% gone, I don't crave sugar or carbs and I'm not really hungry either. I'm just about omad and that's mainly due to IF. I have learned so very much from you Dr Berg, the biggest compliment I can give you is to tell everyone I can who is genuinely interested in regaining their health, about you. Many blessings to you in all your endeavors 🌻🌼🌻🌼

Dear Dr. Berg, according to your body type test, I am a Pancreas type (69% Pancreas, 15% Thyroid, 8% Adrenal, 8% liver, 0% ovary). My body looks like the Adrenal type (belly fat & also just a little fatty hips & thighs). I was recently diagnosed with adrenal gland issues (high cortisol levels, trouble falling asleep, waking up between 2-4am...), slightly increased GOT levels, rather low FT4. I have also been diagnosed with Endometriosis 5 years ago, have been taking the pill, but decided to stop it in the beginning of this year. Now I use Progesterone cream in the 2nd half of the cycle. I also have high testosterone levels & a „leaky gut“. The insuline resistance test was negative, but all my life (I'm 33years), my diet was high in carbs, with an "addiction" for chocolate (several times daily) and cravings/snacking throughout the day, with the biggest craving/hunger in the afternoon between 14-16h. Since May, I am working hard on improving my health (and thus, losing weight) with a Keto diet, no snacking, only 3 meals with 4-5h breaks in between, filling up on low vitamins (e.g Vit D, B12, Selen...) and exercising in the gym 2-3 times per week (45mins treadmill fast walking) + 20mins machines (leg press, abdominal crunch, lat pull etc.). However, I have only lost around 3kg (which is not visible) and it is stagnating. My personal trainer now recommends me to do HIIT. I have watched several of your videos, but I couldn't really find the answer as to which Keto specifics and also which type of exercise would be the best for me/ the Pancreas type. Which type's recos should I follow? Thank you so very much for a brief reply. You have already enlightened me so much!!! (no one ever took my itchy feet (&hands) seriously...) Much love from Germany, Gloria.

I have suffered all three of the three main problems, stress - sugar/diet - chemical/medication. I've been doing a Keto diet for three weeks and lost a stone, mainly using your u-tube vids for advice. I'm a 67yr old, retired female, full of arthritis and am definitely going to add ACV to the mix, I do already add lemon juice to my water, a tip used by my grandmother. I'm also down to 2 meals a day and did 3 days cutting down to almost zero carbs with positive results. Any other suggestions? My activity level is variable and I suffered from long Covid all last year (great fun) thankyou.

I got a brain injury in the Army from jumping out of a plane that triggered hypothyroidism. I was then put through the pipeline of being medically discharged out of the military after a 12 year long commitment that was intended to be career. Then various stress and depression related issues led to a trial separation in my marriage leaving me predominantly living alone unable to sleep or motivate myself to eat. I basically survived on one meal a day, typically fast food or take out and energy drinks. This was all within a period of about 6 months and lasted for about a year. So I guess...like all of these apply to me. Intermittent fasting and exercise has helped me a lot but I still feel like I struggle with the residual symptoms of all these issues especially the anorexia. I can eat, just not a lot. I try and do some research on this issue but I can't seem to find anyone else in the fitness journey or industry that struggle with true anorexia. Any search I've done brings up thousands of articles and testimonials that refer to anorexia but are really talking about anorexia nervosa. To my knowledge these are completely different. My body tells me I'm full after eating anywhere from 800-1000 calories a day. It causes physical discomfort and even pain to push past this point. This makes it incredibly difficult to meet my caloric goals and macro nutrient requirements even just to lose weight, since my body wants to hold onto everything I manage to consume thinking I'm in a constant state of starvation. How am I supposed to gain more of an appetite to lose weight and not to mention how I am going to eat even more than that to be able to put on lean muscle mass? Drugs? Hormone therapy? I wish this was an issue that was covered more in this industry because I highly doubt that I am the only one out their who is trying to get into shape but struggles to eat enough day after day.

I too have a brain injury and loads of GI issues. I can't seem to eat anything without getting bloated and inflamed. Certain foods even give me arthritis/joint pain. I wonder if you have IBS? (you can get it from stress, like a brain injury or a traumatic event) I've lost 60 pounds following Dr. Berg's advice on the keto diet... but I struggle with IBS and I can go up and down over a 3 pound range for a month just because i'm dealing with toxic water from bloating and inflammation. When that happens, i do a fat fast... for me it's the most amazing remedy for losing the toxic water and getting into ketosis. I just finished a 7-day fat fast and i felt incredible and then today i ate a big salad that contained FODMAP vegetables and I'm already bloated. So, I'm trying to figure out which foods cause the bloating because it might not be every vegetable on the FODMAP list. It's a bit tricky to combine IBS diets with keto because they say that fat can trigger IBS symptoms... but like i said, my IBS symptoms disappear when i do a fat fast (i make a drink with crio bru, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, coconut milk and coconut oil that i drink once a day.... i don't really measure anything exactly.. the cocoa powder, i use 2 Tbsp, ~3c of crio bru, ~1/2c of coconut milk, 2-3 Tbsp coconut oil, and 3Tbsp cocoa butter and blend it up... so easy) but when i do this fat fast... particularly for 7 days... i have great energy, but by the end, i do start to get dizzy... i do take 2-3 scoops of Dr. Berg's electrolyte powder every day and there is some potassium in the coconut milk. I do 30 minutes of light cardio every day even while fasting. I have found that a 3-4 day fast is enough to get rid of a lot of toxic water that causes bloating and inflammation, but i'm curious if prolonged fasts will heal my brain injury. You could try a 3-day fat fast and then follow with a hybrid keto-IBS diet and see how it goes. I don't know what you are eating now, but fast food, carbonated drinks and caffeine all trigger IBS symptoms. I'd love it if Dr. Berg would upload a video on doing keto with IBS... I hope you find some way that brings you to good health!!

Thanks for the suggesting the book. Someone else had suggested i check out that book and I forgot about it. I have chronic insulin resistance and this keto diet has saved my life. It's really not that much fat... i eat a huge salad most days with a 1/4c of olive oil and avocado and i might eat a serving or 2 of macadamia nuts and that's pretty much it. I started the keto diet as a vegan, then added raw, grass-fed dairy and local pasture eggs, but realized those foods still triggered my IBS, so now I'm back on a keto diet as a vegan. Still experiencing bloating and inflammation from certain vegetables. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Important info. Thank you. Wish I had found this years ago! I would love to know what Dr. Berg says about caffeine, especially for Ovary types. When I look back on my weight gain, it began when I was in my late 20s in a sedentary and high stress job where I began drinking lots of coffee to get through the day. Fast forward less than two years later to an upsetting and sudden end to that position, I decided to “focus on my health” to lose the 30lbs or so I had gained. Overnight, I became vegan (read: suddenly consuming lots of soy products). So, even though my activity level was up, my stress was way down, and I was entirely plant based (except for cream in my coffee), I started gaining lots more weight (around 60lbs in less than a year). That was a long time ago and my weight has fluctuated since and I have greatly reduced my coffee consumption (especially sugar and cream) but now I am wondering about the caffeine itself.

Thank you for this and all of your videos! Optimal health is important to all of us and it's great to get honest, thorough information. I am a teeny bit confused. I've always been fit and in control of my weight until something stressful happens. The latest being a partial hysterectomy. The only exception being when I was put on birth control where I gained 20+ pounds in two months and refused to take it any longer. I figured I was an Adrenal body type. However, I took your body type quiz and my results came back this 5th body type. (Pancreas) Is there a big difference between the two types as far as how/what I will be eating and doing to regain good health and lose the weight? Also, I'm a lactose intolerant vegetarian with Celiac Disease, eager to get started just as soon as I know what foods to eat. .. Thank you so much. You're awesome.

Dr Berg. I don’t know which body type I am. Started weight gain as a child. Was an overweight teen. Became a morbidly obese adult. Had pancreatitis. I don’t consume alcohol. Was up to 350 pounds. Not an over eater. Had gastric sleeve. Lost 100 pounds. Now I am gaining it back despite the fact that I can only consume small amounts of food. I’ve been doing Keto for over a month with no weight loss. I have no clue why I gain so much weight. Please help!!!! I don’t know what to do. Your videos encourage, but I feel helpless.

Hi Im oestrogen dominant. I got this ovary body type after menopause, i had to take HRT to help with the bad symptoms. Should i stop with the HRT as it could be too much oestrogen in my body?

How old is Dr Berg? He looks like he’s only 51 or something but he’s so knowledgeable: ps: I should have been taught all this 20 years ago why wasn’t I? What’s wrong with all my previous doctors and the system in ontario Canada?

Dr. Berg, what if my “body type” started when I was a child? I’m 59 years old now. As a girl, my life was often stressful, including emotional and physical abuse, and other stresses, including moving across the country to new cities every few years. My mother thought I was “pudgy” (her word) when I was 8 or so years old, and gave me 2% or skim milk to drink instead of whole milk. She herself was a chronic dieter. I categorize myself very much as an adrenal body type. I am pretty apple-shaped. My stressors that influence? Determine? My body type started in childhood, NOT adulthood. I believe you should modify your quiz questions to include childhood somehow.

Annie M This lipedema is SO NOT my condition. As I stated in my original comment, I’m very apple-shaped. Very much an adrenal body shape. 45” chest, 39” waist, 45” hips; slender-ish legs. I think you wrote some automatic reply, and didn’t read my comment at all.

I agree Susan Grande. His test shoukd include questiin from childhood. I have struggled with weight since I was a child. Domestic Abusive home..complete dysfunction. Turned to food to deal with it. Very timid child. I had some friends, but I was always nervous about the next time I or my mother would be beaten... or after they divorced, how she basically was raising my siblings and I alone and not wanting to go to school because there was no money in the house for nice clothes so I woukd get made fun of and bullied.... Now here, decades later, I am still trying to figure out how to overcome weight issues. I believe I am a mixture of Adrenal, Thyroid and Pancreas body types...and it has been a living hell.

I got fat about 16-17 years of age after going on the pill at 15 yrs. I had bad acne so my Dr put me on it for my skin. I ate ALOT of sugar and carbs and dairy growing up. I was badly hypoglycaemic for a long long time (til doing keto & IF) and on the pill for 15+ years. I've got an hourglass shape and I'm shortish so really put it on around the thighs, so ovary & pancreas - that makes sense Dr Berg thank you.

I can not for the life of me figure out which is my body type. Been on keto for a year. Lost 60 pounds and got off insulin but my sugars won’t drop completely to normal. Keto made me so constipated. And bloated. Going carnivore. Started four days ago. Feel better. Going to try a little bit of veggies along the way. My bloating and constipation seem to be clearing up. But now my stools are loose.

My story: I had an awful stress in my marriage and work and used sugar as a relief…. Then I was diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency and hyperthyroidism and was prescribed steroids for 3 years. Eventually my thyroid was removed. The only combo that worked was intermittent fasting with low sugar diet. Please, don’t live your life like I did

@CaToRi-
@CaToRi- 3 года назад
@@trulytservices8028 well, the endocrinologist is the one who should do it but in my case, the neurologist suspected it and requested the cortisol 8:00 AM blood test. The results confirmed her suspicions and then she sent me to the endocrinologist

Ok, I always thought I was the adrenal type, but now I may be a mix between an adrenal and a pancreas body type. I’ve been very stressed out and went back to my awful eating habits, which was a lot of high carb “comfort foods.” I’ve gained nearly 40 lbs back after losing over 60 lbs on keto and IF.

Ive only just realised it since you mentioned the 'pill'. I had no weight issues or cravings during the years I was on the pill. My weight and food issues came about after I had my hystorectomy(spl?). Ive struggled through hell trying to deal with an out of control body. Until! this year when my research lead me to keto. Ive finally found freedom from constantly thinking about food. And! I nolonger crave. BUT Im still not quite right. There is still something out of balance within me. Im hoping to pinpoint it soon and fix it.
