Check out former Queensryche vocalist Geoff Tate, tracks like “Take hold of the flame” and the earlier albums are pretty incredible, but also virtually every tune on operation mindcrime has some amazing vocals…
People just can't get over the fact that he is the true frontman since day one. But because of Rachel Bolan's jealousy that fucked everything up. But I have a feeling that if even Axl and Slash can reconcile even if he takes it to far with his insane temper though he is the boss as the no matter what. Then of course it's possible that Rachel can grow up and accept the fact that Sebastian is the boss whether he likes it or not. Then boom. The good old days when Quite possibly. That music is in the mainstream where it belongs. Most of today's music which is utter garbage.
Bach is the real deal. I have been singing over 20 years and luckily got to see Skid Row back in their prime with Bach. The fact that he could hit the notes, sing his butt off for a full show as he ran all over the stage is crazy. Many newer singers who can sing something like this use studio magic for the most part. Tech has takin over real talent.
Hi. I ove Bach but his performance on Slave really IS unreal. Full of post production on studio. Listen to his singing thr album live. Not a shadow of the studio versions.
He’s the greatest . He was the most beautiful. The most talented - and for the haters - yes, one of the most “handful” artists to ever sing onstage. Just saw him two months ago and he’s still incredible after 35 years.
Very interesting! I have listened to Sebastian sing since I was 19! (in 1989) I think he is by far the best singer of that era. "I Remember You" is one of the best examples of his singing prowess - a love ballad with soaring heart-tugging high ranges as well as low ranges. It is so superb, with amazing emotional depth. I mean, for a teenage girl, who wouldn't love a guy who can sing like that? :)
I've listened to that beautiful voice since I was 21 I saw Bon Jovi and Skid Row In 1989!!! I had never heard of Skid Row and Sebastian BLEW ME AWAY WITH HIS VOICE AND SUCH A BEAUTIFUL MAN!!!!!
The highest part of Quicksand Jesus, near the end ("Far-a-waaaaaaAAAAAaaay") always gets me super emotional. Possibly his best song. Either that or In a Darkened Room. Absolute 1-in-a-million legend 🤘
Quicksand Jesus gets me every time! This mans voice got me as a 12 yr. Old kid and til this day. I saw him 2 weeks ago and he still is killing it and what he doesn't get in octaves now, he makes up for in huge personality! He's one of those people, you either love him or hate him!! All love always here!
I've always argued that Chain Gang is on par with, if not better than Wasted Time in terms of Sebastian's vocals. That note he hits after the first chorus is unreal
Sebastian Bach is, without a doubt, one of the greatest rock vocalists in the history of rock music. I will never forget the first time I heard his voice; I was blown away. He is a phenomenal singer & musician, and he is a really nice person as well.
Sebastian and his wife at the time (back in 2001 or so) used to work out at the fitness club I was managing in Tinton Falls NJ. He was such a humble and friendly dude. Oddly enough, not many people even knew who he was. His wife was beautiful & her car was totally badass!! She drove a BMW that was definitely shipped from the European market. Haven't seen too many others like it here in the US. Anyway, he would always sit and chat for a few minutes whenever he came by. I hope he's doing well now.
The story I heard is that he was told by someone that he would never be a singer. Turned out to be one of the greatest hard rock voices of ALL TIME! Must be something in the Canadian waters! SB, Geddy Lee (RUSH), Rick Emmitt (Triumph)
You can’t “learn” this……. This is a gift. He’s definitely worked hard at vocal training his whole life, but to try and explain to someone how to “ do this is a joke”… not gonna happen. Perfect what you were born with and do you..
Skid row is ridiculously impressive and I've loved the band for years. I am an actor and found out that he played jekyll and hyde on Broadway. That is one of the most difficult vocal and acting performances ever written and GODDAMN sebastions performance is STELLAR. I cannot recommend watching the recording of it more, and understanding that he did that performance 8 times a week
Sebastián Bach tiene muy buena condición del diagrama vocalmente es muy potente su voz y la técnica que ha llevado en práctica es la correcta para no dañar su hermosa voz.❤
Sebastian Bach is an underrated national treasure even though he originally hails from Canada. As many teenaged girls did at the time, I fell in love with “I Remember You” and it inspired me to pick up the guitar not so I could be a guitar player, but t be able to sing and play what was then my favorite song in the world. A love song I fell in love with without ever knowing what it was like to love and be loved in return.
I've just find your channel :) my favourite vocals are Ray Gillen , Steve Marriott, Mark Farner , David Coverdale. I hope there will be videos about them :)
I came here to let me 18 year old, who loves music and can talk all day about it, to hear Sebastian best voice sounds. I love his voice so much. And Dave dramaine. Sorry for the spelling mistakes
There’s also a thing called glottal air compression which also helps you in singing with distortion and making the transition from distortion to clean or from clean to distortion smoothly with air control so you don’t lose your breath or damage your vocal cords and you’re able to sustain notes pitch range Much much more efficiently and effectively
Best rock singer in history, we all know it. Hopefully he teaches his technique, best for rock singing without damaging the voice, the other rock singers from that time should know that before 😄
seb ha is a gift of nature, a particular voice, which he has used in every vocal field, opera and recital .... I think his diaphragm is bottomless🤣 .... however he had two operations on his vocal cords ... .they said skid row was a commercial success thanks to seb's ethereal beauty....nothing sadder!!!
Remember that he has multiple effects on his microphone as well (chorus, reverb, etc.), although he really is hitting whatever notes that he hits. Not to the same degree, but without a microphone without the effects many of these sounds he makes would sound like an acoustic cover of a metal song. He's still one of the couple best classic metal singers ever, if not the best.
@@LebbyHarris There are countless singers since then who have basically raw vocals, including in metal. If we're talking about how great a singer's vocals are and people have basically never heard them without effects, the effects should be noted as it's part of the sound people are attributing to the singer alone.
Just checked your vids...uhm, did I miss something? You got Buckley, Dio, Dickenson, Plant, Halford, etc. EXCELLENT! Bravo!!! Bruno Mars is there? I don't see Geddy Lee or Rik Emmitt? Is that correct?
Thanks!!! Dio, Halford, Bruno, Geddy and Rik haven’t been covered here yet! But I definitely plan to. Specifically Halford I think is coming very soon. If you check my Community section here on my channel you can participate on polls to choose the next singers to be covered
Before i knew what mixed range was i used to just use my low rang and head (high) range. If always hit the max in my low and knew i was missing something, so when i figured out mixed voice it was extremely easy to use, now when the bands id listen to chsnged the parts of my voice id use change. And it eas a slow downfall lol
@@CrazySinging Well i've hit my notifications bell, i'm very excited for this. I think it'd be a hard choice of songs to choose his vocals from because he has sooo many, with unbelievable vocals in them. The longest note i've heard from Rob is at the end of Painkiller. You definitely have your work cut out for you. Thank you for all you do, because alot of people don't understand vocal ranges, i'm happy you're shedding light on these artists.
