Regarding the regular trending on Twitter, I don’t think that bad press is still good press. It’s trending because of the uproar, not its quality.

This show is literally the definition of watching a car accident. You don't want to watch it but you so interested in how the accident happned and why.

I don't think this show trended as well as grace says. I haven't seen it trending anywhere. Even when I opened Disney plus moments after the new episode released it was hidden 3 slides back behind some cartoon and the bear

This episode was hilarious. Qimir whipped out his lightsaber and turned Osha into a "BAD GIRL" bwahaha. Mean while everybody's favorite bipolar assassin Mai gets into a foot stomping fight. This show is turning into a comedy for me 😅

Vader wore a mask because of his injuries - the consequences of falling to the dark side. Palpatine concealed his identity as a Sith because he was a prominent figure in the Republic. There's no real reason for Qimir to hide his face because nobody cares about him or his real identity, just like Kylo wore a mask for dress up. It's because Lucasfilm have no ideas and no vision except copying what came before. That's why they will never be as popular as Maul or Dooku. Attempting to tie this show so closely to the sequels is not only a bad marketing decision for how divisive that trilogy was, but also hilarious considering this "flagship" show was supposed to be a new beginning.

I think you may be overestimating the number of new fans coming in because of Qimir.

After six episodes there's still no story in this show. To quote Vader: "Impressive. Most impressive."

Are we watching the same show??? I was bored out my mind. Smilo Ren is the only good part of this season. Mae and osha is the same person. The audience can only tell by location because the actress has the same face for everything. We are 6 episodes in and what do they want?? It has changed multiple times within one episode

i think my problem with this episode is that it raises more questions than it answers: 1) We're heading into the penultimate episode and we STILL don't really know what happened on Brendok 2) We STILL don't know why the twins blame each other for what happened 3) We STILL don't know why Sol feels such heavy guilt 4) Now we have new questions - who is Qimir, who is his master? Why does he have that scar? 5) We still don't know what Mae's motivations are - she wants revenge, then wants to turn herself in, then resists arrest from the Jedi, then wants to reunite with osha, then attacks her and assumes her identity, then goes with Sol, but then wants to kill Sol, then no longer wants to kill Sol, then wants to contact the Jedi Council?? Can they really wrap this up in 2 more half hour episodes? idk...

You may not agree with some of the “toxic fans”, but it really is worth a listen to some of the actual grumbles they have with the show. The amount of plot holes and nonsensical elements are getting tough to ignore.

About Sol tying up Mae, but Qmir not tying up Osha: Who would you tie up? The person who killed some of your friends or the person who saved you from being killed? You don't need to tie up a good person to be save around them, but you need to tie up a killer if you are alone with them. It's not that Sol is bad and Qmir is good, it's that Mae is bad and Osha is good (at least up to now...).

I don't hate this show, but its not really delivering in terms of lore and story. The script having to rely on nudity and shirtless men is just not what Star Wars was ever about.

That’s better than me. I got 5 minutes into episode 2 and shut this trash off. Also cancelled my Disney+. Disney has failed way too much way too often with no appearance of course correction. Done. Out. It’s been real.

So u people keep telling us this show is for kids so we shouldn’t be critically analyzing it, but then we have a thirst trap with Qimir insisting that he is nude and seducing Osha. So which is it? Is it for adults with adult themes or is it for kids and no special criticism is allowed? It’s sick.

Disney shows are odd. Compared to say, Breaking Bad, or Better Call Saul. In those shows, all episodes are eligible to be incredible, and most of them are. They don’t hold back just because its episode 2 or 6. Disney shows have good firsts, dazzling 5’s, and disappointing 8’s. With mostly filler in between.

Disney plus needs to stop being afraid of making hour long shows with more than 8 episodes. This show is a perfect example that if there was more than 8 episodes and they were longer, they could really flesh out and explore some of the storylines they are trying to tell.

The writing in the last 2 episodes have taken me out of the series. In a world that All of Us and Fallout exist; why does it seem too much to ask for a franchise like Star Wars to have great writing for its streaming?

The writing is not exceptional, but many Star Wars shows had quite bad writing... On the other hand, I see two main problems: first one, is that the show doesn't seem to be conceived as a weekly show, meaning that not enough happens in the first four episodes and now also the soxth episode is quite "empty". Maybe the fifth episode should have been exactly in the middle of the show and, hoping that there's something interesting in the last episode, the eight episodes should have been released in two halves (four episodes for each block)...? The other problem is the atmosphere, the themes, the story and the writing: the last two are often somewhat simple and childish, but there are a lot of deaths and atmosphere and themes are actually often pretty "adult". Therefore, which is the demographic target...? It's often too simplistic for adults and too dark for children, so not actually right for anyone. And too expensive!!! 180 million for the 8 (quite short) episodes, that's crazy. Disney should budget more carefully

If you are going to have these shows be so short, you need to just make it a binge. Weekly is preferred but these eps need to be longer

I agree, the problem with streaming services is that they are highly unpredictable, unlike network television where they live off on a cliff hanger and in 3 months you'll get the answer to that cliffhanger, however. Screaming services, sometimes you have to wait a year or more to find out what happens next. And by that time, people have already moved on to something else, which causes a dip in viewership and causes the series to end early. A good example is the Boys, and Invincible, they completely fell off my radar and I just started watching the Boys just last week and only made it to two episodes and haven't planned a day to watch the rest. As for Invincible, still can't find the time to put it into my schedule. These streaming companies need to address that. .

The inconsistent time jumps/travel time remind me of when GoT went off the rails in its last 2 seasons. Also, what was with the graphics for the ships? They looked like from a computer game, and not a good one at that.

After last week i thought this show was going to get better but episode 6 had writing somehow worse than 1-4. I really tried, but it just not for me

They should have released all episodes at the same time. Good for the mystery aspect first few episodes but getting tiring and drawn out seeing the blind hate on social media (especially for star wars media)
