About 13 years ago I lived on the upper west side of New York and one day I saw the streets being blocked off, after a day there was about 14 semi-trucks full of generators, etc. They were there for 2 days, and when I saw the episode of Special Victims Units those 2 days and all those trucks equated to about 2 solid minutes of run time. TV can spend some money.

A SpaceBalls sequel just got announced with Mel Brooks probably writing and directing. Kinda mixed feelings about a sequel. If it can poke fun of Disney SW, and get a theatrical release and be good quality, maybe. But currently I’m not convinced.

I have a theory about "He" or "They" pronouns. there could be a species in star wars having collective consciousness since there is no individual being. Thats why "They" term fits. Remember Borg from Star Trek? Again just a theory as I don't think they thought about it this way.

Ep4 bad writing elements (positive stuff below): They lost Basil? Yord asking Osha for the gun but 2min later is "concerned" for her safety? Killing a bug is bad? Yord is no longer goofy? Mae has a late change of heart once deep in the forest? Oshawa has a change of heart after repeatedly saying she wasn't going to join the mission? Jedi wookee found dead in his chair, he was totally surprised and didn't fight? Why did it smell bad in the forest at some point, the bugs? Basil is a they? Positive stuff: Forest was nice. The costumes are nice. Yellow lightsabers. Basil is a nice character.

Its kind of what reviewers do so that we don't waste our time or money. It just seems like a lot of industry reviewers are such dogs of the entertainment complex that they will never give a bad review to a garbage show or movie if it hits its ESG/DEI check marks. Also, these reviews are having an effect because people aren't watching it. They aren't watching Star Wars. But, then they are and "ist" or a "phobe" for not watching it. On top of that, it just kills a beloved franchise when all it would take is NOT to blatantly insert extremist modern beliefs into a show.
