The B-52's must rehearse well. Cindys' bongos are beautiful and Kates' vocal sync with the synth is pitch perfect! (Or maybe they've been doing it so long it doesn't matter anymore!).
Look at Cindy bang the shit out those bongos! Anyone who's in their 60's and can still rock the bongos will always have my respect. She always looks so tall she must be 7 decameters tall! or whatever metric measurement there is.

idk, listening to this I’m underwhelmed but I think a part of that is the poor audio quality. I saw them live in August 2019 which was after this performance and they were incredible- thoroughly impressed with Kate’s vocals. They had me dancing up in front of the stage the entire time....
Whow! Is that ‘The bride of Wildenstein’ drafted in to sing? LOL, 40+ years hasn’t been good to her plastic surgery, she still has a good voice though, as far as I can tell through the machine instruments anyway.
They've never claimed to be an aficionado on any particular instrument but Kate and Cindy are actually multi-instrumentalists. I've seen them play various instruments over the years in different songs and I've gone to every B52s show I could since 1979. They do seem to input the coolest sounds at the right points that help make Ricky and Keith's songs work that much better. But let's face it, the ladies strength has ALWAYS been their paired harmonies. IMO, they have THE best paired harmonies in all of rock.
