@Bobble Hat and the worst is the degrees are now worth essentially nothing, since 50% of people attend university. Most will go into minimum wage jobs after incurring the debt. I know that in America, graduate prospects are waaay better, I know people in their early 20s earning 50k dollars after graduating. That just doesn't happen in UK

Most panic buttons just alert the police or security, they don't send the bank into full lockdown mode with steel shutters and escape pods.

The bank staff usually all have panic buttons on their lanyards, so they can activate them from anywhere in or even outside the bank.

This is from s9, PS' final series, shown in 2015. Their latest sitcom, Back, isn't as good as PS, but it's still worth watching.

I think it fits in with how realistic peep show is supposed to be. I’d imagine most people who plan to rob a bank end up just bottling it

@@ClaraFinn It makes it less entertaining for viewers. We could have seen one of the characters try to be a 'have a go hero'.

@@davidz2562 Mark and Jez trying to figure out a solution during the robbery and Johnson inevitably finding a way to throw Mark under the bus would've been great.

Mark and Jez would never try to stop a bank robber, that’s the point of the scene. They’re two very selfish, cowardly people, who ran away and didn’t even bother to call the police. Also, that scene would be too dramatic for Peep Show.

Whole series felt a little like that. It was still PS but it was really beginning to go off the rails.

​@@pigknickers2975 I think episode 3 is one of the better Peep Show episodes, and I liked Angus. But apart from that, I agree about series 9. The first episode, where they were just trying to get Mark and Jez back together, was really contrived. Overall, it felt like they didn't have any new ideas, so they recycled old ones. Especially episode 5 just felt like a series of deja vus.

The bank scene was funny AF one of my favs was this the last season though because it did decline tbf they took too much time off
