When I lived in Korea, I would often buy injeolmi while walking home from work. Roasted soybean powder is one of my favorite flavors. This cake looks wonderful.

Start your bakery passion, you dont need a big kitchen to start, go and do an internship in a good bakery, maybe just on weekends but if you love to do it, this thing shouldn't stop you.
This is why I watch RU-vid. Not only learning about food from all over the world but getting recipes and visual instructions! I have enjoyed eating roasted soybeans as a snack for years but, as an American, have never been introduced to Injeolmi Cake. (And I do eat and make Korean food at home. I’ve decided that in 2022 I will cook a new savory meal each week and bake something new each month. This is definitely going on my baking list! I appreciate the instructions at the end for the roasted soybean powder and red bean paste. Even if I can find both here, I assume the homemade versions are best. I have no idea when I’ll get to this one (it’s still January) but I’ll post the results in comments. If you have Instagram I can tag you. Thanks again so much for all your recipes!
Made this cake and it was delicious! Soybean taste and smell amazing! Just got some lumps in the mousse probably bcuz the gelatin cool down before I added in the cream. Definitely will try to do it again. Thank you for your recipe!!
