The Best Air Purifier for Allergies 

I had both. Winix was great for wild fire smoke and better than honeywell, but then I got an iqair healthpro plus and it hands down cleaned my air of everything and had a marked improvement on my overall health (breathing, aches and pains,and just general overall health) . I returned winix after 1 month because it started to rattle. For quality and performance, the iqair health pro plus is unbeatable.

Can you do a video on air quality monitors. There are plenty on Amazon but I have no idea what to look for. Would love to know where in my home all the particles are coming from making my allergies so miserable.

I have a question, is it possible to add an additional fiber carbon filter to the Winix for extra unwanted gas filtration?

True HEPA filter captures 99.97% as small as 0.3 microns. QAir HyperHEPA filtration is proven and certified to filter at least 99.5% of all particles down to 0.003 microns. They are totally different levels.

Great videos. I also binge watch your air purifier ones. I think both of these top rated purifiers produce ozone which can be irritating for the respiratory system, is that right?

What do you use to test that these are working?

Is there a way to affect the performance of a purifier, like the place where you live, if you clean regularly, If you close other doors to make the area smaller, etc. ¿Is that so?

LOL, Sure Winix is good if you plan on buying one every single year. I went through 2 that stopped working in a year. Then your told you have to pay shipping to and from the manufacture to have it fixed, cost less to buy a new one then fix it, plus going without a purifier for months till you get it back, no thank you, I'm done with Winix....So previously owning 2 Winix and an IQ air, Winix could not come close in competition. I have severe allergies, sinusitis, allergic to dust mites, now stage 4 breast cancer which further aggravated my breathing. The only one i can use where there is no sneezing, watery eyes, blowing my nose every 5 minutes is when I'm using the IQ air. My dog also has allergies and he does not sneeze with the IQ air. And after 2 years its still running and all i changed out was the premax filter which was $54. I still have another 1-2 yrs on the other 2. Compare that to changing the Winix filters every 6 months which is what i had to do. I live in a very old dusty home so the filters had to be changed more frequently. Of course, you get what you pay for.

I can buy 4 Winix and spread them throughout the house, then have money for extra filters for the next year.

There is a pre coarse filter for IQ air that is cheaper. Set of 5 for 59 bucks. Your representation is not quite right.
