Apple Watch is one of my favourite devices of all time. I wear my Apple Watch Series 6 every day to view my Dexcom CGM values, use Apple Pay, monitor my heart rhythm and so much more. Hey what’s up I also have an older version Apple Watch and I hate how it does not display my blood sugar levels on the screen I have to actually click on it and open it and wait for it to load on the newer watches is it constantly displayed on the home screen or do you have to go into the app just like on the old versions

Hey there, thanks for useful video. I would have a question if you don’t mind. Are you familiar with the app “guardian monitor” apparently it is compatible with the Apple Watch, but I haven’t googled any information how is it running and is it useful… Thank you for your answer and keep on doing the great job. Love the video, I have a question about the follow me app. For some reason I'm unable to make the follow me app a complication? Do I need to use a certain watch face? My wife has it on her Apple Watch SE which o find strange as mine is a 6.

Great channel! Would be interesting with a follow up on this now that medtonic has its apple watch connection, if that’s the beat way to go now or if there are any other ways that work better? Apple watch vs garmin for example

T-slim does not have a watch app. In the US, t-slim X2 insulin pump can connect to the display iPhone app to see pumps activity etc.

Hello, thanks for the information. Can the Apple watch 7 cellular connect with the dexcom G6 when the phone is away? So, can we see the dexcom data without taking the phone with us while doing sports?

I wore a Minimed pump for years before they became Medtronic, but after 29 years, I switched to a t-slim pump and am so much happier. The pump supplies are similar, but I had such a bad reaction to the Medtronic CGM and there were reliability issues. Wearing the Dexcom G6 CGM and the t-slim pump have reduced my low blood sugar incidents and made life better!

Maybe I'm missing something here, but using the calendar do display glucose information on the Apple Watch has been a thing with about every single transmitter (MiaoMiao, Bubblan et al.) and app (xDrip, Tomato, Diabox et al.) since before the Normans invaded England. What's new exactly? 🤔

Yes, this is another great example of a DIY solution/idea becoming commercial and mainstream. Sugarmate is now part of Tandem too.

670G does not have any Watch integration. 770G and 780G connect to your iPhone so high and low notifications will alarm on the watch by default but there is no watch app (not yet anyway)

@@Nerdabetic I have just updated from 670G to 770G and uploaded the MiniMed Mobile on my iPhone, no app for my AppleWatch yet to show my glucose level on my AppleWatch yet :( there is an alarm for my iPhone, but not for my AppleWatch? Wonder how to set up for the alarm?

You can buy a 3rd party Bluetooth transmitter like Bubble or MiaoMiao to get real time readings and alarms.

No. At the moment Guardian and Libre are not on Apple Watch. Low and high alarms will be shown on the watch as notifications from your iPhone appear on the watch by default.

Does this watch measure blood glucose or only receive data from the sensor?

It shows glucose data from Dexcom continuous glucose sensor.

It’s my daughter that’s diabetic, I have the ‘follow’ app on my phone and watch, which only comes up low or high... is there any apps or anything I can do so I get an actual figure? She’s 8 and at school, so would love to know her actual number when I’m not with her, not just an alarm saying LOW....... please - Lou

Thanks for commenting. Assuming she is on Dexcom, if so Follow app will display a figure. Sugarmate is also a great option.
