I like this video because the description has the same content as the video. Some people just want the information and putting that information in the description helps.
These foods are important, but the most important of all is more water and proper sleep for the brain and stay away from too much sugar and caffeine. Caffeine is good in moderation.
"more water" is only applicable if a person isn't already drinking enough. Too much water is also bad because it flushes out much needed electrolytes and salts.
Thank You, I am writing a book teaching people how to transform their life. Part of it is about the brain, gut and heart. I am also preparing workshops to teach people how to get out of depression, transform their lives, make it through tough times, etc. Yes all different types. Anyway on those I need some basics about the brain, the neurotransmitters, Amino Acids and the proper diet. Along with proper actions, thought process etc.
Our brain is one of the most important organ of our body and it needs to function well so it is extremely important to eat healthy foods and keep it in top shape.
Thanks for the tips! I'm currently intaking most of those Brain Food except for Walnuts and DHA. Also, I read an article that says you should cook the Turmeric along with black pepper to help triggered the benefits of Turmeric even better! 😎
This is super rechearch on foods which are more appropriated to our brain health. These are explained in a very clear, audible and simple expressions for all of us to understand. Truly, I am really inspired. keep it up.
I would add coconut oil, boswellia, kefir, greek yoghurt, all organic raw veg, raw garlic, raw ginger, raw whole lemon juiced, raw honey, cold brew tea and coffee keeping the grounds to add to smoothies for beneficial fibre, pink Himalayan salt, chlorella, spirulina, apple cyder vinegar, extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy! p.s. Avoid processed fats, sugars and salts.
Mark, store bought kefir created a lot of mucus and sinus problems, homemade kefir had mold, some raw veggies are goitrogens, honey still has sugar in it, some teas and coffees are not good for the thyroid, pink salt has some impurities, spirulina is pond scum that made me sick, acv is a strong acid that made me feel very funny in the mornings with greasy skin and greasy dark yellow urine, so say.
Greek yogurt is terrible for the environment. Raw garlic should be consumed as needed, ginger is great antioxidant, local honey can help with allergies if eaten regularly, too much caffeine is not great for your nervous system, try cutting back on coffee and drinking more green tea, Pink himalayan salt has more mineral content than regular salt, Chlorella and spirulina need to be sourced properly otherwise most brands have impurities that you dont want and are bad for brain health like aluminum, Apple cider vinegar can fuck up your esophagus ( I speak from person experience and someone else close to me, better to take vinegar tablets if you are trying to regulate blood sugar). Olive oil isnt great if its been sitting around for a long time exposed to oxygen, you can get inflammation from this. Here are some things you should consider adding to your regimen if you want better cognition: Bacopa monnieri, Lions mane mushroom, blackseed oil, Iodine (Lugol's or nascent, research proper dilution) Magnesium (also research because there are bunch of different magnesium variants with slightly different effects). Broccoli is also good brain food as well.
Hi! I know this information is true and helps not only our brains but our whole bodies as well! Thanks a bunch for letting us learn about this topic! have a nice day! 😊
He giving good advice. I eat all those things, and lots of it everyday. I never labeled them as brain food, I ate some for top antioxidant property, blueberry for anti-cancer property, turmeric for anti-inflammatory property, flax for omega 3, Actually, broccoli is my favorite vegetable, somehow my body and limbic knew the biochemistry before I intellecutally knew, I craved broccoli if I don't eat cruciferus veggie....broccoli is one top anti-cancer food, but it best for liver to for sulphorane for glutathione.......another anti-cancer food. but chocolate......I eat that cause I like the dopamine effect....sorry, like the druggie effect, phenethylamine, but can't go to brain....lacking CH3, get whack out by MAO immediately in body. It the caffeine that can enter the brain. don't like caffeine effect.
foods are mentioned from you most important for our brain or even the whole of the our body. we must not ignore it.thank you very much I wish you to make more and more video laik that
I have sinus issues , this can slow your thought process , when I take non drowsy sinus medicine my mind is much clearer and alert . I take many of what he prescribes but my sinus medicine makes the difference .
Congrats on the weight loss. Looking good. :) I tend to not cook curry in my apartment because I don't have a kitchen fan so I wait to visit my parents and my mom makes it for me haha. The yellow curry you showed, is the one we use in the Caribbean and it includes tumeric. I often visit my parents when I'm craving it.
Looking good is irrelevant if the mind don't work right. I'd rather know what will make my whole mind function at top level vs just being able to memorize and remember stuff. Anyone can memorize the rules and regulations and then repeat them by rote regurgitation. But I want a mind that reasons, thinks, creates, makes connections between the past, present and possible... I want a mind that can make judgements without having to ask permission or have some kind of board meeting or collaboration. I love a good COOP, but I have to be able to stand on my own two feet to actually function well in the world.
I felt relieved when you said you lost 20lbs from thinking. Because I trained my memory for over a month and lost 11.9lbs within that month. People thought I was nuts when I told them I lost weight from thinking. Since then I never truly recovered because I developed unhealthy habits, and then my brain went to shit. Hopefully your inspiring knowledge will help me to recover.
Tumeric, yes WITH black pepper to release the beneficial properties. I eat all these foods reularly and my memory is still pretty bad. But I attribute most of that to smoking a lot of herbs in the past, plus regular insomnia..
Rainbow Trout instead of salmon also has omega 3's. I also take the omega 3 supplement too. I put blueberries in a smoothie along with strawberries, banana and matcha green tea. I eat everything you mentioned in this video except walnuts, which I will start purchasing. I also love avocados but they have to be bought at just the right stage of ripeness. I have had avocados go rotten on me. They were not ready to eat when I first purchased them and then they became soft enough to cut into, but when I opened them up they were all rotten! I was so disappointed because I wanted to use them for a guacamole recipe. Oh well!

As a first time investor I started trading with, Mr Mark Lopez, I personally appreciate her straight and simple approach towards educating traders. My portfolio has grown more within just weeks of trading with him.
Ronnie! I'm allergic to fish too. I'm just curious...what are the symptoms of your allergy? I usually get some weird stitching pain that comes and goes in waves under my left bottom rib...it usually goes away in around 30-40min. But it can sometimes get really painful. And did you find something that helps with your fish allergy...or have you heard of some potential cures? P.S. Huge fan of yours. Have been following your stuff and reading about you since your very first participation in the memory championship.
I find this very interesting, and slightly unfortunate because I'm allergic to a lot of these foods. My favourites however would be avacados, dark chocolate, and whole grains
Come at this from the other direction too : blood flow. Japanese Natto, Aged Gouda Cheese, Goose Liver, Sauerkraut, all that type of food has Vitamin K2. These help channel calcium out of your blood and into your bones, where it belongs! Otherwise, arteries can harden due to calcification. This also creates clots, clogging, etc. Try and keep anxiety in check too.
Hey Ronnie you are amazing. I just went through a few videos of yours and with the help of that I am seeing a hope to cope up with my medical studies.... THANKS IN ADVANCE BRO!!!!
I grew up in a Pakistani house-hold that had all the foods (except for fish) in daily diet. I could not agree more with you. great video. thanks ! cheers mate.
Thumbs up! Thank you for all your video's. I tried your memory palace technique to memorise these 10 items and it works even though I made up some crazy story in my mind:) Did you talk about green tea or sushi in other video's? It has so many health benefits. Simply look at the Chinese and Japanese doing Tai Chi or whatever, even at old age! In the West we have a lot to learn and for some things these guys are way ahead of us!
that's so informative vdo, atleast some of them we can add in brkfst as brain booster. i m hoping this will work as my exams are near. 😀 thank you sir.
I love 🥑 Just ate some. Broccoli 🥦 is my favorite veggie. I order it most times I eat at restaurants. And since I have some Indian blood, I naturally like cumin, curry, turmeric and cayenne.
Great stuff, Thanx! Anything that's good for your heart is good for your brain, and vice versa. So throw in some exercise! Gonna hit the gym hard today (kinda forgot to yesterday...)
my mother was 82 years old when she passed over. She had a whole her life better memory than any of us her ids and that in to her last days as well. SHE NEVER EAT ANY OF THOSE FOOD YOU TELLING HERE FOR THE MEMORY.... she eat a large variety of the food. and soup every single day .... she eaten all type of the fat but very discreet amount... she never eaten blue berries ever only when she visited Sweden and even though just tasted. I OFTEN THINK OF THIS WHEN I HEAR ALL THIS ADVICE ABOUT THAT YOU JUST GAVE.
If you REGULARLY eat Broccoli, blueberries, nuts and seeds, I GUARANTEE that you will see a truly remarkable improvement in your general health. I am 86 and have been eating these foods for decades. I run 6 miles every day and I cannot remember the last time I needed to see my physician. I would add one more foodstuff and that is the incredible garlic, which is great for protecting the heart.
Before you radically change your diet or buy nootropics to help a bad memory, make sure you're not depressed. Depression can really screw up your memory and cognition.
Ron please, I try to quit sugar because the effects on the brain, but It's really difficult for example when I can't drink coffee without sugar. I was wondering, what is the effect of Honey in the brain? I know it is sugar too, but would it have less damage on the synapses? Or sugar is sugar, is all the same?
I say no to number 1, get off all wheat, and grain products, it has gluten in it, when i got off wheat and grains my memory got better, clearer mind, among many other issues i was dealing with. No to number 2, fish you have to cook, oils in fish become rancid after cooking them, hmmm that sounds healthy, theres better sources of Omega fatty acids and oils they you can get instead of fish.
Yup, research backs this up. I can personally attest toward eliminating wheat specifically from my diet having a substantially positive impact on my overall cognition and brain health. From my understanding oats are not that much better either. I do hear amaranth is better, same with farroh. fYeah, fish is fucked too not to mention if it's farmed or high in mercury. Please be careful people. Back to grain substitutes, chia seeds and hemp seeds are both highly nutritious and have good omega 3 ratios. Do your homework. Don't just take information from 1 source as being the final say!
