Great review my man. You should go back again, just because 2021 most restuarants were in that pandemic recovery stage. I think the majority of them have powered back up now. I live in Charlotte and during the time this video came out just about every restaurant food sucked for a while, i was buying groceries and cooking at home because i refused to buy that crap that alot of places were serving. Not saying Cuzzos was one of them because i really like Cuzzos food and staff, they are good people. But as of late, things have been pretty good. Prices went up but the quality is back in a lot of places i would say. But great review.
I'm the kind of person who keeps my home clean & if i ever start a business i'd make sure that my business is continuously cleaned . If i know you're coming to my restaurant, i'd make sure that i have a meeting with my employees because babyyy... You don't play... Lol . I gotta make sure that my restaurant is squeaky clean, costumer service is great, the food is cooked the right way, & it taste good...! 😃😃😃
I'm happy somebody else finally said it, their chicken is DRY AF. The first thing I ever ordered from there was some tenders and lobster Mac and when I say I couldn't even eat the tenders with the sauce it was sad. I'm not a food waster but that went in the trash.
I’ve been watching some reviews out of Charlotte, and I’m convinced that a lot of these places are just making stuff and not really cooking. Just stealing money with their catchy names. I’ve almost given up on soul food when eating out. I can cook my own at home… The only city that 100% satisfies my taste buds is New Orleans 🎭
With some extra spit on the side. NO is notorious for putting shit in black folks food. Especially during festivals...look it up...right here on you tube...pray before you eat out....Anywhere
As a transplant, the food scene in Charlotte overall is not playing up to their potential. Too many places are satisfied with just meh instead of fire.
@@Alanboy395 I had moved to Charlotte about 25 years ago when there really wasn't much to eat outside of the University area. I only lasted one year there before moving back north. But I did eat in Concord often. El Vallarta was my favorite Mexican restaurant there. The Mayflower was good. But I always got takeout there..
I love eating at Cuzzos for Sunday brunch whenever I'm in Charlotte. I have never had a bad plate or bad service there. There is now cuzzos 2 and I can't wait to try them.

I love his reviews! Very honest and fair. The restaurants in Charlotte have been on point. However, I understand this is subjective, I think that their fish is too salty. 💯 on waffle as well.
I used to live near their OG location and when it wasn’t that well known, it was way better. They started skimping on the portions at some point. Not as good as it used to be either.
Fish and grits is a meal I grew up on for breakfast. We'd go fishing and my grandma would clean the fish, fry it up with some cheese grits. My God on today 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
I love fish and grits my mom used to cook that for us when we were little me and my siblings and I used to cook it when my two kids were little and we had eggs my son still stay at home with me he's 25 my daughter lives away and we still have fish and grits with eggs but when I'm feeling well I will make shrimp and grits
They don’t have good customer service. I called to order food and someone answered the phone and hung up. Called back no one answered. After that I was done.
You have to ask for fresh food now a days people cook in bulk to save money but there is a time limit on food food after cooked it’s called a holding time cold food bacteria can set in you can tell how good food is after you eat it and digestive system break down if you shit with in a hour it’s bad food
