out of all gaming mousepads i have this is my main, its been great for fps games like cs go & valorant. why? because it is a slight heavy/control mousepads and its suitable for people whos playing with a high dpi (above 800, like me). heavy mousepad + high dpi = perfect. if your playing on a standard 800dpi or lower, i suggest to go for a speed mousepad like the hyperx fury s pro. its crazy comparing the ss qck edge mousepad to the hyperx fury s mousepad. i played just fine playing with a 1000dpi & 0.4 sensitivity on valorant on the ss qck edge, but when i switched it to hyperx fury s mousepad, holy shit it is so smooth and fast, i had to lower my dpi to 800 and in game sensitivity to adjust myself. so i went back to qck edge bcs im so used to 1000dpi. so overall = the steelseries qck edge mousepad is king for first person shooters games.

Overrated comments! You didn't mention how the texture feels, how the mice glides over it, start and stopping power? I want to know it compares to other pads, even with another Steelseries Pad. Because it seems its surface is different from a Limited Edition that is silky smooth?
@@yiepie9822 I stand corrected with my swenglish :) I usually put the same brand of mouse feets (if available) on my mice. But still yeah, that actually makes a difference.
hey man good review but basiclly the only difference between the normal qck and the edge one is the stiched edges, you didnt talk about how it feels when constantly gaming with that mousepad and does the stiched edges are noticeable while gaming
Yeah, when I heard the name "Edge" and saw the product, first thing I realize is that stiches. I'm wondering is it going to be bad for long hours gamers? Like irritate or leaving marks on hands
@@milhamfarrohi Its probably still better to have the stitches because I've seen the version without stitches start to come apart. The stitches don't really bother me at least.
@@samthewizzy Well if you are planning to use the same mouse pad for 5 years long then yes, edged will overlive. But cmon who uses the same mouse pad for more than a year or two?
This is my main mouse too, but I am having spin out problems when I flick the mouse super fast in semi circlular motions on my glorious and my logitech g840, do you think this mousepad will fix the issue ?, I have 3 g402 so i know is not the mouse. btw I use Corepadz(Hyperglides) skates in them.
Would you recommend the QcK edge or the QcK. I can’t decide and don’t understand what is different about them. Would be greatly appreciated if you would respond.
The original/regular QCK is a standard mouse pad that uses the QCK surface. The QCK Edge is the same surface but the edges are stitched to prevent peeling and fraying. I would recommend the Edge because it should be more durable vs. a standard non stitched pad.

It depends on what you want, heavy is more comfy and thick, but it's also a lot slower, if you're bad at flicking, heavy might be better for you, but if you're bad at tracking and want to improve that (also if you want a faster mouse pad so you can lower your DPI), than edge is for you. Also edge is much more durable, and sustainable over time!
