Or you can also line the spring pan and the base with parchment paper (NOT WAX PAPER), and when the chesecake sets, open the clip of the spring pan and take it out of the pan easily and peel the parchment!!!

So I made this cake for a friends birthday and after putting in the gelatine the mixture became a little watery I started to panic but I continued with the process. Thankfully after leaving it over night the cake became nice and thick wasn't watery yay. And for the taste I thought it was going to be sweet but you were right not to sweet just right. I love those measuring cups, picked them up at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I'll try to find similar ones and add them to my shop on the blog. I usually go with whatever brand is on sale, either store-brand or Philadelphia :)

This looks fantastic!! Got a question about the topping. Is the topping cream cheese and powdered sugar and vanilla or did you use regular sugar and cream cheese? Question, if I add and additional half of bag of gelatin would te consistency be a little firmer? Cause I love te taste and I don't want to bake it. I just wish it was a bit more like the bake cheesecake texture. Not sure if I explain my self right. Mine came out more like a mousse. Not sure if I did something wrong

Hi Maribel! I'm sorry the cake didn't turn out perfectly for you. Gelatin comes in different strengths so maybe the one you used wasn't as strong as mine? Also, make sure the gelatin is dissolved completely before adding.

I think you could bake it, you won't need to add the gelatin though. I would recommend adding more cream cheese and less whipped cream, too...

Hi! Yes, you can definitely use gelatin sheets. This is the conversion I found online: 1 tablespoon powdered gelatin = 3 sheets leaf gelatin.

Hi! That's a great question! I highly recommend using a springform pan for this recipe. It will be hard to remove the cheesecake from a regular pan. The springform will snap open and these types of pans are usually taller.
