This is a fantastic guide. As a daredevil main returning to the game after a 2 year hiatus I've been trying to pick up Specter but it's a different playstyle. I'd like to see more information on rotations on the specter and when to leave the team fight to help with the sides.

Excellent guide

This guide was awesome, it answered a ton of questions I didn't know I had about how specter works. Love that you included alternative runes, relics, skills & traits that are actually useful so that people who want to change something can do so without making an uninformed mistake. Was surprised that you didn't cover the precast a well->immediately sword 2 combo that I'd heard about to land the well on the enemy from a long distance (like you tried to do at 4:52). Question: I never know when to use sword/dagger 3; it seems to use far too much initiative to spam and I don't really understand the purpose of either skill so I end up never using it. I see other thieves use it all the time to great effect, but what are they looking for when they use it? Is the first skill just useful as an extra dodge, or is it primarily used for the fact that it's unblockable, or to gain access to the boon rip?

Without a target to port to on Sw2, how do you have any mobility to get to nodes? there's no mobility skills without dag 2 or sb5 and you can't give yourself switftness on demand
