Just got diagnosed as having a piece of cartilage that broke off and is floating around in my knee. Good to know about these alternatives. Even after knee surgery, I have an old knee injury so I have to be careful!! Thanks Brian.

These are great exercises! I find that I need to do the glute bridges first. My quads are much stronger than my glutes and that's why I have knee problems.

Another alternative you can do is reverse hypers aka prone leg lifts.

I don’t have knee issues but whenever I do squats or lunges my knee hurts. Prob it is because I am doing it wrong. So I want an alternative where I don’t even need to make that mistake.

Mi problema siempre fue una pierna al hacer ejercicios, es mas delgada que la otra ya que fui operada de la rodilla por una fractura, no puedo doblarla completamente intentare hacerlos, me cuesta pero lo hare.

Bear squats are not good for bad knees and so bad for people with glaucoma :(

@@briansyuki truly I cannot but many of your videos are so good for me, but as a 62 year old with basically no knees and severe glaucoma, 2 I cannot do. You are young and fit and can't be expected to know how us old folks are haha
