I love the Bourgogne. It can crush broadsides, it can run down destroyers, it can quickly reposition or cap, it can burn nose-in targets. It can do everything... as long as the captain knows how. I have to say though, it's a ship that scales highly with skill. The strengths of the ship can almost be weaknesses for newer players. Speed boost is a great way to quickly get into bad positions, which can quickly become fatal from the lack of HP. The guns and reload booster are only great if you know who to shoot, when, and with which ammo type. A great ship, but not the easiest to play!

I picked the ship about a month ago, 200k dmg games are super easy on it and it’s great! Also it’s super strong in a flank, but I play the burger on the mid and have been having good results, 1 200k game and 7 150-175 games all in a row. This ship is phenomenal

As much I think the John Bart is awesome, at T9, I just won’t take it over Georgia and Musashi at all. And at T10, I dont think I will be prefering Bourgogne over Ohio which I already have. Often I just got frustrated with the French 380 and French armors. After playing Incomparable for weeks, I just love it so much. Truly unique and awesome experience. With broken concealment and the tools it gets, making plays late round is much more ez. I certainly will be picking the Bourgogne one day. I already have FDR, Stalinguard and Incomparable. I probably won’t be buying it until I got Austin and Shiki. Overmatching is just awesome. You can truly bully people with it. Who needs to shoot broadside when you overmatch everywhere😆. Incomparable out-detects the DM and Salem, but overmatch them everywhere. If you hates DM, Incomparable is for you😂.

The JB is one of my worst T9 BB's and the Georgia is one of my best. So I got Ohio, crushes in ranked, so-so in randoms. Just picked up the bourg today though... holy crap. It's so insane it's not even close. This is the best Tier X BB no contest. first game got in too deep (not used to going 40kn) ran into GK petro monti yama all ~14km 2 kills 7 citadels 170k dam, not bad. 2nd game 230k dam, krak, high cal, confed, 3 solo caps, 27planes on a loss (still made 1.8mil credits). This ship is insanity, chased down 2 dd's and there was nothing they could do but get killed.

This ship is incredible. I've wound up really despising Incomparable. I had to play some comfort games in Bourgogne and Republique. Even in the dark times that is WoWS randoms atm, I adore them.

I considered this ship for the longest time and then went for the Incomparable instead. It was a close call, but I looked at all the other French battleships in my port and then all the British battleships in my port (and Marlborough soon to join them in the future) and I said to myself, "You know what? With Alsace and Jean Bart and Wujing and Strasbourg and Dunkerque and Dunkerque B and Richelieu all at my disposal, Bourgogne would just feel a bit like more of the same, while Incomparable is radically different from every other British battleship, especially at high tier." If I'd got Bourgogne and didn't manage to reaccumulate enough steel before Incomparable was pulled, I would always wonder what-if? The other way around, not so much.

Mine a bit simillar. I have no T10 premium American Cruiser, so I took Salem at the early game. But the dilema: I don'r have T10 premium for French and British... So it is either incomparable kr Bourgogne

Picked her up in Nov. w/ coupon, but grinding the GK, and regrinds, I've only played like two games. But it was your suggestion by which I made the choice over some of the others (Ragnar and Stalingrad).

I have 41% hit ratio in the Incomparable so far and that includes me firing at DDs and long range targets. It is about 8% higher than my BB average. Last match I nuked a full hp Moskva in one volley - it is vastly more consistent than Shikishima. Bourgogne is probably more consistent, but at this point I love to play around the gimmicks of Incomparable, especially in ranked. I slightly regret Shikishima though, should have got the Bourgogne instead back then.

and if you focus on concealment its even better, outspotting cruisers and nuking them suprisingly is so much fun, and in this point of the game, its more about fun and wanting to play then pure consistency for me haha

@@GrumpyDK821 indeed! On point of accuracy, last ranked match 46 out of 78 shells landed on target. I'm not sure why PQ says it is not that good, bit this way we won't het it nerfed. :)

My biggest problem with Incomparable is the amount of sniping BBs that shoot at it and only it when it's spotted. The inability to hit them back due to short range is also annoying.

Yesterday I fought a range mod incomparable with a thunderer. Was an easy fight 🤣 you see that incomparable shells coming from 20km and they fall short

@@sargisshirinyan207 I'm only scared of a Thunderer when it shoots AP from outside my range. Anything within 15km becomes child's play. I went for reload because if I wanted to snipe, I'd take anything else.

Thanks for this video- I been here since 2015 - I didn’t find your channel for at least 4 years and I’m a casual player - but I took your advice and my 1st steel ship became the Bourgogne- it took along time but I merc’ed for many clans and got the steel - I’m really happy now- this ship is awesome- best choice ! Thanks - great game play - i prepped a 21 pt commander and this ship is great and like u said it’s solid - if you really like this ship check out Denarros video- “the bread has been delivered “ haha! I had debated between saving for Bourg or Stalingrad. After the captain rework though I’m leaning Bourg. Absolutely LOVE playing Jean Bart so I’ll take you up on your recommendation.

That is a Ranked token camo, you have to rank out of gold to get it, three times I believe to get the tokens for it

I got her on your recommendation and she is great but I'm doing a lot of dd play in ranked and wish I had the Ragnar. I'll get ragnar next. I have no desire for incomparable. They aren't that great.

i love my alsace and aim for bourgogne... in like 3 yeas when i will have enought steel XD. do you think i could use the same build? meaning adrenaline rush, incrase secondary range, furious, close combat for the skill at 3 and 4 point

Would you recommend grinding the French BB line first? I have a feeling if I get the Bourg, I won't want to play through the French BB line because I will expect Bourg dispersion and be disappointed at Alsace (and earlier) dispersion XD.

Now that you don't have to sacrifice a cruiser, DD or even CV commander's skills (if you got Bearn) to run BB setups, and because she's a premium, you don't necessarily have to have "BB commander".

Picked her up this christmas too, really really good ship, no doubt. Not a fan of Incomparable either, it depends the most on the gimmick of stealth, but this gimmick is comletely nullfied by carriers, which are more than common at T10. So I absolutely prefer Shiki and Burger over the Incomparable. Shiki is just the better 6 gun BB imo, it is way way tankier and has a lot more pen. Burger is just a damage machine and all around a better BB. Of course Incomparable is basically a battlecruiser, but it still gets matched vs BBs while not being able fulfill the BB role too much. If you have Shiki and Burger, I'd still say pick something else. FDR is still an unfair piece of shite to play against and hilariously broken, Ragnar is one of the strongest DDs at T10, being able to play it well will result in a lot of wins, since it's just that good at killing the enemy DDs with its great survivability and power to farm everything down.

Great Video... I have the Bourgogne on my "to get" list. But now there is a new ship to consider... Mecklenburg? It is rated higher on WG ship stats, but that could be just that it is new and only older (long time playing) people have steel to buy it? What is you opinion of the Mecklenburg? I have been gathering STEEL for 5 years... and I now have enough to buy a STEEL SHIP.... Which one... ??? Please give me a reply soon.... thanks again...

I'm in the same boat lol. Playing since almost launch and almost got enough for my first steel ship thanks to playing ranked and it giving steel now. I already have republique and jean bart so that's turning me off from the Bourg because very similar playstyle. I have Petro and Alaska so I don't really want the Stalingrad, i think they're kinda boring. Also, been looking at the Ragnar along with the Incomparable and even Plymouth since I have the Mino and Belfast which is like they had a baby. Such a big decision and may never get another steel ship ha.

We are all in the same boat. I have the Dunkirk, Jean Bart and a commander to move about them. The same on the German side with Pommern & Gk. One coupon to spend before mid December when it resets with enough steel and coal to buy from one of each resource.

A (subjective) point mentioning: Bourg is also one of the fun T10 bbs. Yea sure something Thunderer is very strong, but it’s play-style is exceptionally boring so I don’t enjoy playing it. Same goes for Kreml. Bourg on the other hand is always a joy to play, even in situations where it isn’t well suited (like your solo push in the vid) because the strengths of the ship are just inherently fun.

I think that the reason is that this ship (and most french ships) are so strong but not getting nerfed is that they have a massive skill floor.

Thunderers are a lot more common so it ended up annoying the playerbase more than Bourg. Also bourg players also don’t fire exclusively HE most of the time

I run it on the Hood and laugh every time since you do 35Kts with no Engine Boost or nothing. If I had the Points, I'd run on it on the Georgia too, but to be honest I get in trouble too quickly with it as it is.....

I think you could make an interesting case on why the Burger is better than the Shiki or Incomparable for BB players, but the best STEEL SHIP? like, from all of them? come on PQ!! Stalingrad and Ragnar would like to have a word with you!!! Ragnar is straight up overpowered! :(

The data agrees with you and has since its release. It is the most overperforming non-CV in the game. In fact, according to the last complete analysis of ship performance and balance overall, the Bourgogne was overperformimg by a whopping 23% in one metric and 13% in another. For the vast majority of PVP games made in the last decade... Even seeing 12% over is considered very unbalanced and typically addressed in the next patch. This ship has been overperforming far over that and has been since its release. Additionally, the Bourg has a much higher percentage of owners which are below average compared to say.. Stalingrad. Stalingrad which has never performed to the levels of Bourgogne, has a much higher percentage of above average and unicum owners inflating said performance yet has also been nerfed multiple times Bourg has not...

Since I so rarely get Steel (Xmas mostly) I just use it to top up coal purchases. 1700 steel got me the last 17k coal needed for the Napoli last week!

Hm... So many people praise it. But i feel naked with it cause of weak armour and low HP. Bad accuracy on low caliber guns also doesnt help. And its concealment doesnt win any prices either, its about the same as Kremlin but the latter is far bigger, WG "logic". This ship only lives from both speed and reload booster. Almost every other thing about it is just bad. French BBs and me just doesnt work...

Idk. I’ve never been afraid of this ship. It’s so easy to counter if you play Yammy or a ship that can overmatch 32, I’d rather have thunderer, or shikishima or incomparable

Burger beats Yama in the HE Burn game, Burger can easy driveby Yama, Burger is far superior to Yama. Thunderer and Burger are in a different league. But Yama is easy to play and very weeby.

I can appreciate the opinion of rating Bourgogne as the best steel ship, but come on "not even close"? It's a very arguable position, and I say that Ragnar is better. Even if Bourgogne might be objectively the best one, it definitely is close.

I stopped watching when you ignored the two Destroyers when you had time to shoot. Even at AP. So much loss because of the BBs refusing to shoot the DDs, the same ones complaining that they take torpedoes. And I’m à BB player. Soo much greed for damage...

Bourgogne rhymes with coin BOURGOIN. Ask any history teacher. Gentleman Johnny Bourgogne was the English general who tried to come south from Montreal to NYC during the revolutionary war. He was defeated at Saratoga by generals Gates and Arnold. Please pronounce it correctly

I'm talking about pronunciation, not who it was named after. Bourgogne is pronounced "Bourgoin" rhyming with coin. The same is true of the Gascogne.
