you could honestly do a 3 hour video talking about skril ids, there's so many of them. I got into collecting skril ids back in 2015, and now my unreleased skrillex archive is bigger than my regular music library.

I feel like this is unlikely, but I'd love to see you do a video on Kdrew, dude was killing it in the early years of dubstep, with his tracks like, Bullseye and Circles.

"Noisia remixed Bug Hunt in full a few years later" Actually no, the Noisia remix was on the film soundtrack, officially released as soon as it hit theatres. Very strange to see an officially released remix of an unreleased original, especially *in the original's place on the soundtrack it's from* 🤔

I remember Skrillex playing Voltage live when I saw him in Manchester back in 2012 and it was unreal. Definitely one of my favourite tracks he’s made!

You're missing one of the best! Battlefield (even though it was mentioned in the screenshot at 6:57), Skrillex also has a more offical collab with Virtual Riot with a higher chance of release that he had played at Second Sky in 2019, Virtual Riot playing it at pretty much every show since 2020 Also Without Control and One Life which were mentioned towards the end of the video as being "newer IDs" are both fake Skrillex tracks, likely produced by smaller artists that want their work to reach his audience

Surprised you didn't include the unreleased Moody Good collab from around 2015 or 2016 (also on MTGFYT Vol. 3). Its absolutely one of his most bonkers tracks, and is a great blend of Skrillex's post-recess dubstep sound (like the red lips and make a move remix) and Moody Good's vocal chops and piercing stabs. Awesome showcase of both of them. Regardless, I loved this vid! Great trip down memory lane, along with discovering IDs I never knew existed. Keep up the great work with these video essays mate, love watching them!

Waterloo 2011 (Star Wars Lasers) this was the ID that true fans melted over when the clip surfaced. It may even have been a collab with 12th planet since 12th played it out live as well.

I bought Still Gettin It on iTunes in 2011, it was released under UKF Dubstep. I found it when I was 11 so I'm surprised to hear you didn't know of its existence until the timing of this video. I've bought some other tracks that were released under UKF for other artists so there might be some hidden gems for others in this genre that I might have bought.

Hey! I love the video, if you're okay with some technical feedback I'd like to suggest a De-Esser for your vocal chain, you can get free ones (I would suggest the Techivation one) and it should be set and forget. There's quite a lot of harshness when you pronounce your ss's and that'll help immensely with that giving you a smoother, clean sound!

The only song that I think you forgot was another collaboration with Virtual Riot which is (I think that's what it's called) second sky featuring melodic/future bass and heavy riddim music side by side. Should definitely check it out.

I still have most of these tracks on the iPod Nano I used from 2010 - 2016. I had no idea these were hidden gems; cool to know!

I hope that you can do a second part, I remember the remix with Dillon Francis for Only Getting Younger by Elliphant, Dillon was playing that remix in a lot of sets like Spring Awakening and EDC in 2014

my favs from his are the space laces ,salvatore , starrah collab and bunch of melodic ids the fact he got more unreleased stuff more than his released

i havent seen this yet, but i bet that zoology is one here, and i think that it could be a very great song with some polishing and restructuring. the idea and sound design for the song is soooo goood!

actually at 7:27 you're talking about Organ Donor as a sample for Amplifier's intro but that's just because that ID was ripped from a mix and 'Organ Donor' was the track played before, just wanted to clarify that haha also I feel like the Still Getting It VIP sounds more like a demo than a VIP imo love those videos! keep it up!

Your knowledge and presentation absolutely lend themselves to a long format deep dive on heavily established acts like Knife Party or Excision and I hope to see something like this in the future. My favorite unreleased Skrillex ID has to be El Dorado, mainly because I watched his EDC Mexico set when it dropped, I'm still waiting for it to release.

I remember downloading his free releases off his website in high school. Crazy how far we've come.

13:50 - from what I heard/understand, this version of ‘Heads Down’ that’s shown in the video is actually a complete reconstruction of the original that was made by my friend Spitfya, and the original is actually the trappy-style version that has those jagged and repetitive vocal chops. I could be wrong though.

The Louis the Child collab released, he just got “written and produced by credits” its called “Waiting to Feel Like This”

The Noisia remix was released right at the same time as Wreck Ralph was in theaters. It was on the Noisia channel for a few years but it wasn't until recently that it was mysteriously removed.

I liked the version of Amplifire with the Sonny rap in that they played like once! But my fave unreleased is Jurassic, it makes me go insane

Funfact about the Disco Rangers track, it’s made for (and paid by) a group of Norwegian high school studens for their end of high school celebration period, a tradition in Norway called «russetid» (roughly transelated to «russ-time/period») where all the students dress up in red or blue pants or overalls and celebrate. In this period from usually 1st of may to 17th of may, Norway’s National Day, the «russ» party hard, drinking, do fun tasks and go on festivals set up for the russ only. Also many of them form groups with their mates and some of them have vans og even busses (hence the Disco Rangers bus) that they drive around in and party all night for the whole russ-period. Painting, decorating and furnishing their vehicles with their own logos and so on. It’s common to have merch and song for the group. So this is the group/bus called Disco Rangers from 2011’s own song for their celebration. Pretty insane to think they got Skrillex to make them a track back then. He’s way too big of an artist now for this to happen today. I can’t even imagine how much they must have paid him for this track. It’s «pretty normal» for russ-groups to pay 700k-1mill Norwegian Kroner for tracks these days, 70k - 101k USD, but still.

Man back in 2013 I downloaded a pirated version of skrillex’s (at the time) discography and it happened to include all of these unreleased songs, and I nearly blew my ears out listening to them all. It felt like I had found some special hidden skrillex songs that nobody else has heard haha. I still love how the Sheffield version of his Levels remix sounded, it’s unfortunate that version never made its way onto the internet besides crappy concert rips. I might have to try remaking it myself now that I’ve been producing for a decade

My personal favorite ID has to be DnB Ting w/ Ragga Twins. Still hoping for an official release even though is very unlikely now.

I was hoping skrillex would put out new music before summer but that is becoming less likely as time goes on. Last year when he released butterflies and too bizarre, he teased a song on tik tok and Hasn’t dropped it. That song sounded finished so maybe he’s been waiting to shoot music videos for the news songs? I love all of skrillex’s id’s but his club songs are my favorites. I never thought Fuji opener would come out but when it did I was so hyped. Even with the remix of supersonic, I was pretty sure that song would never come out but it did.

*DANCING ON MY OWN REMIX* AAAHHH Like Bug Hunt, it's like one of, if not, the the hardest to find in good length/decent quality/actual leak. I remember I found a reeeaalllyyy good remake a year or so ago.

I fully applaud you for not listening to the Face My Fears remix just yet, it's one of the most incredible dubstep tunes I've ever heard. The payoff you'll recieve if it actually does release will be earthshattering, I promise. My every extremity is crossed that these see the light of day sooner rather than later.
