Slayer is good, but in the 80's they were great..If i was granted 3 wishes. One of them would be go back to 1984 when Thrash was new and you felt like you were on top of the world being a part of it !!!
Lombardo was really sick, I love Bostaph's work too though. They both their own styles and I am grateful to have both that I can still enjoy. RIP Hanneman
I've only seen Slayer once. It was in West Palm Beach, Florida for mayhem '09 I think. And I'll tell you now, everyone who was standing still like the people in this crowd, got thrown in the fucking pit or told to bang their fucking heads. And for the most part, they complied. \m/
They just stand there. Nothing happens . This is SLAYER. Dance pogo do anything! A boring Swedish nation. They produce so much cool music. For whom fans are passive. SLAYER go to Poland. They will show you good suport !
That's because a lot of us fans are getting too old. LOL Going to see Slayer/Thrax/Motorhead tommorow...I'm old and had surgery recently and will be lamely headbanging towards the back too.
You can tell that Dave was just fuckin done with Tom and Kerry’s bullshit in this video. Dave went from a dude who was so happy and energetic to being like he was in this video (especially in the beginning). Slayer may be one of the greatest thrash bands of all time, but Dave was not wrong to leave when he was getting paid $60,000 a year to tour with Slayer.
I doubt Denmark would be better :). The place I was standing had a big moshpit on every Slayer song. I was totally beat when Metallica came on. But most of the audience was lame, the place I stood was probably the only active place in the whole stadium.
