I'd also like to add that I was backstage on one of their concerts and Araya was reeking of weed and he was acting like he was very baked, more than he usually does haha
@@NubsWithGuns wow very interesting to learn. Sounds like it was one of those "Guess you guys aren't ready for that yet, but your kids will love it" kind of moments.
It's a song, just like gangster rappers, they don't live the life, they make it impressionable to people, it's like Gene Simmons is to pose as a demon but the dude is not satanic
Actually we can clearly hear the bass of every 4 bands of this concert , i listened to Metallica's Blackened yesterday from this concert and you can hear the bass clearly, yeah ! Bass on a Justice song 😂
@@tayhut What? lol Dette is just playing other peoples songs. Dave invented this shit on the spot in every album he was on. sure there was a drum machine but he put groove into the songs instead of the wooden shit you hear so much now.
@@Windir-gp8wk They were not warriors even back in time! Vikings were a bunch of pussies! plundering small boats and tribes ! warriors were French,Germans, Romans, Greeks,Spaniards and Anglo Saxons! look at the colonial map, which country speaks any Scandinavian language expect Swede, Norway and Denmark! The whole Africa either speaks French, English or Italian!
Lombardo the man!! There are people that can play Slayer and then there's Dave Lombardo no one does it better than him. I don't think people realize how difficult it is to play an entire set of Slayer the stamina the endurance the speed the timing not easy to do and to be on point. It takes one drummer the drummer to play it all and that is Dave Lombardo who makes it look so easy and guess what it's not.
@@robertwalker3357Got to agree with you buddy. The footage of him filling in on the Australian tour on RU-vid is unreal. I'm a massive fan of Dave Lombardo but I have to say I dont think I've ever seen Chemical Warfare played as tight as Jon Dette played it. He is an absolute machine and I kind of wish he'd done a whole album with them.
I'm in the shower listen to this slipping and falling but I still don't learn my lesson cause slayer is part of my morning bathroom ritual. I literally jumped out of the shower just to type this!!!!! SLAYER!!!
@@matevz6883 If you've actually been to a Slayer concert where the crowd wasn't as comatose as the one in this video you'd know what a mosh pit ACTUALLY looks like. There wasn't one in this video. Trust me.
@@tomsmallshaw4382 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Sa2IKhMPqzc.html This is the way i see it. This is not my problem. It is problem of humanity. What describes lyrics of that song? Is it detached from sounds? If it is detatched from words and can hear sounds only, youre cow. If you can feel it, the message, ya can be human. What is the message? Fireworks?
Love the fact that Gary comes up with his own solos. Also his headbanging style is just crazy, like he is being electrocuted or something :D. Obviously Jeff's presence was one of a kind though.
Listen to WARGASM'S Why Play Around?( USA) The lead singer plays bass and he sounds a bit like Araya. 1988, same year South of Heaven came out. Great album. Trust me
I love the faces Kerry King makes when he shreds that guitar ! So fucking metal \m/ I'm honored to say I saw them at Mayhem today! A day I will never ever forget.
Lost count of the number of times I saw them play this: from intimate venue like The Astoria to Knebworth in front of thousands... never sounds anything other than fucking BLISTERINGLY immense 🤘🏻🖤🤘🏻 Slayer will never die
Dont retire tom and kerry. I know you need a break..you are the founders of keeping the lyrics flying. Btw tom...my father was a hug Beatles fan and he practised a lot with the WHO.
@@jachymspacek7562 It would be like trying to revive Pantera without Darrel or Vinny. Phil and Rex are great, but sad as it is to say, some bands NEED to stop being bands when the original lineup isn't there anymore. A band is more then just music, it's a union between all the members that we come to know and enjoy. If you replace half the lineup it'll forever be someone else's band because a lot of the original creativity and uniqueness that made the band what it was is now gone.
01:47 holly shit Kerry King footage that's why i love this guy, i don't understand why so much critics, this guy is definitively a monster and the discission is closed
