Just Cause 2 has many great features/options, you can select the difficulty setting when starting a new game, you have different save slots, it has a mini-map and a health bar that you can increase as you get more collectibles and your character can sprint. The one thing I don't really like about Jc2 is the damn color scheme, it's overwhelmingly brown.

what just cause 3 lacks is variety. most missions are the same. most towns are the same. most roads are the same. in jc2, there's a huge variety of places to go; mile high club, the casino, the huge city, the 3 kings hotel, the ski resort, and most impressively, the lost island. there's a variety in towns. missions have a lot of variety. in jc3 the only unique place to go is the volcano island, but that gets old on your second visit. jc2 also feels more realistic. you can see stalls in town selling food. there's airports for people to travel. there's people on the street begging for food. jc3 just gets boring way faster than jc2

@@ralphcoronado1548 you cant play it without a proper mouse and keyboard and even if you could its not worth it because your progress wouldnt go to the PC. it needs PC level hardware to run at 60 fps or its going to run for like 30 minutes. why would you even be playing just cause 2 in a random place its not worth playing if you arent comfortable and focused. surely you couldnt play the highest difficulty because the controls are so bad.

I feel like Just Cause 2 was more of a deadly serious game with less playful and vibrant graphics. Just Cause 3 was more of a free and playful sandbox kind of game, feeling as if the 3rd was bigger in that way.

+Samson JC3 had significantly smaller cities and never raised the sense of awe in me that JC2 did. JC2 was simply incredible for the console generation it was on. The only game to ever surpass it on the console was GTA V.

I like the way Rico looks in Just Cause 2. He’s clearly Hispanic, or straight up Mexican. Looks way more mature and violent, and his clothes are cooler. In the games afterwards, he looks like a generic Ezio knockoff that’s suddenly from some Mediterranean island.

Just cause 3 has one issue which really makes it a lot worse: The map is literally a tiny map stretched out to be the same size. You have like 1 mountain and that's literally the only unique thing about the map. Send me a screenshot of just cause 3 and it becomes impossible to tell where you are.

Both games look pretty good though Just Cause 3 is missing just a few tiny details in some areas when compared to Just Cause 2, I think it gained more then it lost in most of the other areas when it comes to the details.

They are both good and I own both. JC3: You can have more tethers/grapples. JC2: You can sprint. I feel like JC2 is better to be honest. It's got more villages, cities, military bases. Also JC3 did not include Military Ports and Military Airports! They just kept it all the same as military bases! JC2 also has a MUCH bigger city than JC3. JC2 is Panau City and JC3 is Citate Di Ravello. I'm going to stop here. It was a long comment. JC2 (Thai) JC3 (Spanish) (Medici)

just cause 3 is the visually so stunning and of course it's better but just cause 2 holds it's own in many ways. it was great upgrade from JC2 to JC3. fans are satisfied. this is what a sequal should be like. unfortunately it cannot be said the same for JC4. major thumbs down.

If you play console, don't bother. Go play GR Wildlands. It's a more finished experience. If you're on PC play fortnite or literally any other game. Both JC3 and 4 are/will not be what JC2 was. They're tiny increments when they should be huge leaps in technological and ideological advancement (in JC4 the trailer is representative of the gameplay experience. Most trailers and demos these days are, especially AAA games).

I have played all just causes from day 1 and I would like to say how impressed I am with just cause 3 their is so much more difference graphics but the only bad thing is that in just cause 2 the water moves when hovering over a helicopter and jc3 doesn’t but anyways continuing smoothness it’s actually beautiful

JC 3, love that wingsuit soo much, and then to make it Jet powered later on, I just flew everywhere. JC 2 seems to have more realistic graphics, like, mroe attention to detail was put into that game. I played 1 hour of JC4. There are soo many options and gimmicks, it really doesn't work for me. I'm going to try JC2, I get the feeling I'm gonna love it like JC3.

JC2 is way harder then JC3. I just was playing JC3 for sometime and now tried JC2. WOW, what a difference. I can actually DIE in JC2. JC3 is like a walk in the park with lots of explosions but basically nothing is happening to you.

just cause 2 needs slightly more modding to be above just cause 3, meanwhile both are better than the 4th in many ways

Jc2 is better because it wasn't unstabl3 and you could play it with the recommended setting on pc and it did not lag on console that's why I think they failed on jc3 but I still like both.
