Finally someone explains the black pill in relation to The Matrix. Red is learning about the lies, but it is not discovering the truth, as so many people erroneously believe. Red is a new belief system, which opens the potential to discovering the truth. Red is the path. Black is the truth at the end of the path.
Yeah, black also has you make decisions that are tough. I loved that Jesus comparison he did. He knew he had to sacrifice his life 4 the greater good of humanity
@@lighthousemaccabee8133 It is interesting, isn't it. I think about it and have pondered it for some time. That is the story. That he was and is the sacrificial lamb. The Lamb of God. I think now that it may have been just that he knew his disciples. He knew that people were telling others and spreading it that Jesus had healed and raised. Though he told them not to do that. He could sense the animosity and criticism he experienced from the temple elders and priests. Especially when he came into Jerusalem at Passover on the donkey. And his anger at the degradation and greed at the door of the temple. It may be that he died simply because he refused to recant. Recant all his words and all his deeds. His refusal to betray His Father like that.
@IcePrincess-ue3yz he could've saved his own life. He told peter he could bring legions of angels to protect himself but he didn't. We are very blessed to have a merciful Creator
True. If people knew symbolism better they would know 2 us the best. But folks would rather have constant action instead of thought provoking entertainment.
I guess I'm a slow learner but when the wanna be "French" guy says "Choice is an illusion between those who have power and those who do not" it took me awhile to really understand this metaphor like I'm in my 40's and when this movie came out I was like 20 something I even have it on DVD till this day. Anyways I've applied this phrase to a couple of situations and it pans out my way because I had the power and I gave them a "Choice" and it worked out my way.
Oh okay... That's where it's at... The only reason I haven't gone over there is I know it'll eat up my time delving into the content, and I don't deserve that reward just yet...
Wait a damn minute. Morpheus thought that that Zion was 200yrs old. If it's the sixth time the machines have destroyed it, that would men that the Matrix could be 1200 years old.
What a lot of fans tend to forget is that in the end Neo never actually won and the matrix still existed after his sacrifice he was just allowed to "win". They even state how Neo wasn't even the first "Chosen One". Which implies that the events in the movies had happened before with all outcomes being the same no matter how "Redpill aware" and "Blackpilled" the characters were which much like the movie itself can be applied to real life. Its cool to see people in the blackpill space who are actually able to disect the movies beyond the basic redpill blue pill philosphy.
How could free will be an illusion? If one is going to say that humans have no free will because it is blocked or cut off by the ego? That we are deluded from the git go so we are not free to exert our will because we are unable to be free? Because of the ego? I hope I explain it well enough to understand and it is what I have heard from others. I don't think it is true though.
Illusion of choice means that you never had one in the first place. Every argument I listen to about this argument is about making hard choices and how they don’t want to make them. Refusing a choice is a choice. You have choices, the real question you’re asking is about will.
@@JuiceIVStat You are saying refuse to make choices in life? Am I understanding? Will, noun: the ability to control your thoughts and actions in order to achieve what you want to do; (dictionary)
@@IcePrincess-ue3yz for instance, weight is a big issue in the US. You can live a longer life if you just eat right and workout. 2 simple choices. Eating unhealthy and living a sedentary lifestyle, those are choices. Just because they’re much easier to choose than the other options doesn’t mean you did not get a choice.
Fred, yes, so true. I see it every day. Online and especially on the national broadcasting system Every single day, Day in and day out. And all of it is surrounded and encased in the urge to sell something. Sell something to me that will keep me from: feeling pain getting ill from being uncomfortable in any way to keep my children safe. to make my health better (pills, etc) to sell my house more quickly to get my work done more quickly and more thoroughly And all the rest of it.
Great break down! Recently drawn to watch this. When you made the batman comparison i know exactly which DC animated movie you were referencing. I haven't watched it in some years.
I have to say that was rather abrupt: fret not, the point was realized. The appetite yet yearns for more. Huhmm, let wisdom Reign the more. My pallet still tingles. Touché’ my good man.
BK ~ oh no kidding. That a huge problem with huge consequences that do not lend themselves to greater peace and prosperity. It loomes as our biggest crisis to date. I think so. People strolling into the country with no vetting of them AT ALL??? Does any one of us let people in the door of our home without knowing who and what they are?
Peace Elder, are the pills then cyclical? With black pill rebooting the system, does everyone start blue again? Would you consider James Bond villians that want to change the world Black pilled? Thanks for your knowledge and expertise 🙏🏾
Pardon me, gentlemen. I see that I am incorrect. I see that if he had chosen the other door then Zion would be saved and Neo would have 7 men and 16 xx to start a new world. A new Zion. Tho what is this "system" that must not be disturbed and this "system" which continues to destroy the world (matrix) 6 times previously and why stop with a new Zion?
I am not sure if BGS is telling me that he thinks perhaps we need no governing system. Or maybe just less governing from outside and more self-governance of one's own behavior. And its consequences. Its outcomes.
@@JuiceIVStat I think teaching us HOW to think and teaching us WHAT to think are the same thing. I am a human being and therefore I think. It is who we are and what we do. We think. "I think therefore I am" René Descartes 1637
BGS ~ ~ The black pill then is not about the deplorable condition of the state and its governing system. So then the black pill is about the architect? The absent architect? God is Dead (Nietzsche) type of thing?
The biggest joke in this scene is that Neo didn't have a choice...Either door would have lead to the same predetermined outcome..Resetting the Matrix...Neo just chose the long road, but ultimately, the Architect still won...
Not true smith was the anomaly. He became a rogue agent and the machines made a deal with neo to stop agent smith because the machines couldn't stop him
@@FREE_WILL_DEFENDER Brother, the machines/elites won...All Neo did was do the machines a favor and cancel out his other half/Smith, just as the Architect designed him to do...The only so-called freedom that the 1% in Zion achieved was to eat slop, wear dumpster clothes and fight machines deep under ground in the freezing cold...Freedom is a lie and is just another system of control as Cypher, Smith, the Merovingian and Neo came to realize...The Architect/Machine is the ultimate Black Pill because he is the ultimate pragmatist with ultimate control...Cypher even accepted that if he can't have Black Pill power/control, he would accept the ignorance of a beautiful "blue pill bliss" over red pill poverty...
