* Update Oct 2015 I know the video is jerky. This was filmed with an older camera and the light wasn't very good. I also didn't really know how to film layouts very well back when I made this. I have been told several times now that the video is too jerky so if you're going to comment please refrain from saying the video is too jerky or out of focus. Thank-you for understanding.
Way back in January the WMRC was invited by the Blissfield Model Railroad Club to come down and have an operating session on their layout. Their layout is modelled after the Clinchfield and C&O railroads (I'm not sure of what line exactly). The scenery is absolutely amazing and my camera does not do this layout justice, especially since my hand was shaking for some reason while we were there so sorry for the shaky video. The Blissfield Model Railroad Club is located in Blissfield Mi. USA. Blissfield is near Monroe which is about an hour South of Detroit along I-75. This layout features many large industries. My favourite was the huge steel mill. The layout is double decked in most spots as well. Recently they had to move buildings so this layout had to be dismantled unfortunately.
