Way back in January the WMRC (Windsor Model Railroad Club) visited the Blissfield Model Railroad Club in Blissfield Michigan. Doug Tagsold was at the club visit but he is not in the club he is just a friend! I was lucky enough to be paired up with him to help me run my train! We did a B&O local on the top section of the layout (now taken down). So I got to talk to him about his layout for a bit! After we left the train club we went to Subway for lunch (mmmmm) then to his house to check out his layout. His layout was amazing! It had a lot of cool stuff, like working crossing signals, he had cameras hidden around the layout, a full auto rack loading facility, a HO model of the Edmund Fitzgerald which sunk in Lake Superior back in the 70's and much more! I had a blast and would love to go back and operate on his layout! Also yes I know the camera work isnt that good. It was difficult to film as I was dodging people and dogs. I was also using my new GoPro which I was excited about. I never thought this video would get as many views as it did so yes I know the camera work isnt great so if you don't like it stop the video and move on. Dont need to remind me by commenting. I would like to dedicate this video to Dakota Holdaway who was a fellow grade 9 student of mine and who passed away the weekend we visited this club.
