I just took it as Grogu thinking, "I tried this Jedi thing before-everyone around me DIED!" Serious trauma for a little kid. So he's like "peace!"

I wish they wrote Boba more like Fisk in Daredevil, using a combination of manipulation and violence to gain control of territory. Would have demonstrated his character growth, but shown what he was capable of still.

I just have to say, that scene where the power rangers are chasing the mayor’s right hand guy (or secretary I guess?) that was the slowest chase sequence I’ve ever seen.

Cad Bane was really cool. He should have been introduced way earlier and used more and hopefully he's not dead and we see him again. Such a solid character.

You came out of this more positive than I expected. Those power Rangers really stood out awfully. It really took me out of the show whenever I saw Dr who and their colorful bikes zipping around

We had similar thoughts. They spend 2 seasons getting Grogu to a Jedi. It was the entire point of the entire mission and everything in the first 2 seasons and 2 episodes later in the Mando story they're like Nah, fuck that. He's back with Mando. But don't worry, Luke. I know Grogu left you, but you'll have better luck with your next student, Ben Solo :D

Cad Bane ain't dead. His life support light was blinking and making a very clear noise. That was very deliberate.

This was a pretty mixed bag for me. I like the idea of basically all of it but felt like more than half of it was executed inefficiently. 5 and 6 were highlights and Cad Bane was the best part of the show. (Huge bias there lol, he’s like my favorite character) and I pray that he isn’t truly dead. If he is, at least have him appear in some of the shows in between bad batch and BOBF

Bro i think your nostalgia got the best of you. This show was a pretty bad in terms of plot holes/ dude taking a back seat in his own show. OG Boba fett is like im a silent ba, new boba is like jk im weak af.

I feel indifferent towards this series.

I think what is happening is that when Luke told Grogu that Mando's life will be much shorter than his and that it isn't worth it to stay attached to him. Grogu realized that if that's the case, it's better to spend the little time he will have with Mando, and then move onto becoming a Jedi afterward. I mean... if Mando dies of old age, Grogu will be what..... a 5 or 6 year old in terms of his species? He could still train.

THANK YOU Jeremy! For pointing out that detail about Goerge Lucas's original direction for how light sabers were meant to handle, and recognizing that they are using this idea in the plot device around the Dark Saber.

They're definitely beta testing CGI Luke he's getting more and more screentime. I don't want a whole Luke show that's too much and probably bad taste, but having him be a more prominent side character for a future series I'm totally down. Just use of clever camera angles and only use the face when needed is the way to go

Star Wars is an IP that has so much potential. But as Jeremy has said before it's much more about execution than just concept.

Cad Bane was so fucking good. He needs to get picked up by the “modders” or whatever they called them and bring him back to life like Boba did in this very own series

The one thing I wish we got was a deeper discussion between Boba and Mando about the concept of tribe and belonging. Perhaps a discussion of what being a Mandalorian means to both of them, perhaps foreshadowing character arcs in future seasons of the Fav-loni Verse. The "You don't really believe that Bantha fodder?" exchange was a start. Maybe we'll get more in future seasons.
