not to sound parasocial or anything, but these three guys have genuinely helped me through so much. it’s so nice hearing men open up about their emotions and normalize discussions of mental health. as a trans man, it’s been hard for me to accept the parts of my personality that society deems “feminine” or “unmanly,” such and my sensitivity, struggles with mental health, or even just some of my interests. these guys are nothing but pure, kind, and good souls. the world needs more Seáns, Jarvis’, and Jordans

The "Kubrick tortured Shelly Duvall" thing is actually false. There's some Behind the Scenes stuff, as well as interviews with her, where she talks back to Kubrick (even chastising him), and he *listens to her*. One clip is actually her getting mad at him over having to redo a scene, and she basically says "yeah, this is my last take then we're stopping because of [condition]." and kubrick's like "okay, okay." In the interview she makes it sound like he was pretty respectful and tended to take what the actors said into consideration.

its always really nice when you talk about ADHD meds because I only got diagnosed like a year ago and got the go ahead to get on medication. I got put on Adderall and when it gave me weird side effects I felt like I didn't have ADHD and there were a whole lot of weird emotions attached because of it being the first one to try and the jitteriness it gave me. Hearing that it also wasn't a fit for other people makes me genuinely want to try to find other medication that can work for me, thank you!

He doesn’t stop bringing up that he’s fluent in Spanish, and is definitely bisexual but he will never realize it. Now he lives in Logan, Utah and his wife is 4 months the pregnant with their first child- a daughter they are naming Rolaynn McKell. And he was recently called as a seminary teacher. And his wife is the relief society president.
