While it would be fun to see, I think the biggest problem with d/d/d decks is you can make such different builds. So regardless of which build he runs there will always be like four other ones that float around.

Exactly this, when I started playing my first thoughts were "Okay, where's the meta at?" And then built a zoodiac tri-brigade deck. With that, and every UR I could want for it now aquired, I'm building my D/D/D deck. Because it's fun to setup d'Arc and pump your life points into the stratosphere. My record in duel links was 38000 LP.

Pretty sure he also just didn't play the good cards and instead had cerberus newton.

It also felt weird how he normal summoned Kepler and Used Slime to summon Nightown instead of doing the oppposite, or trying to get the scales ahead with Gilgamesh and trying to bait the handtrap by trying to make Siegfried soo they could actually summon Kepler and get some other contract

Idky, but I always have trouble playing around with Bright Armageddon. How does he work, because I do wanna use the 3 Super doom kings and he just feels so weird.

@@lennydickson8845 Bright Armaggedon Function is pretty simple, he's only there to protect from targeting effects, the other effect is WAAAAY to specific to be used, unless you have a way to give a pendulum monster to your opponent

@@lennydickson8845 you need to use any tuner other than Lamia to make it because there are no lvl 9 D/D/D monsters. Alternatively you could use Berfomet to turn Lamia into any level, but Berfomet is a one-of *at best*. I recommend summoning ghost from the deck using halqifibrax or running some nighthowls to summon a lvl 7 d/d/d from GY.

We need some DDD monsters based on American historical figures. “DDD Slaveowning Rapist Jefferson,” etc

@@zefile agree. with how easy SR material are to get, there's no excuse for needing the pack to be around indefinitely. It even helps with the "find secret packs" quest for more gems.

@@abaki4115 you can craft any SR from the pack that you want and it’ll unlock the pack for 24 hours. So you can essentially have access to any pack whenever you need it

Bruh i just been playing for 10 hours and i builded PK, purely pack opening and crafting away the URs ans SRs i don't need to make the cards i actually need, it was fun, and after a couple duels i got the handtraps that i lacked, but being honest it's just triple Maxx and Lighting, so yeah, this game it's extremely F2P friendly and i like that

I've bumped into some non meta players like myself but yeah, it's been like 80% meta hell, 15% casual/rogue, 5% someone who managed to bumble into gold with the synchro structure deck because they always have the one Ash in hand

In gold and plat I have seen a lot of players with meta decks that struggle against my pure shaddoll deck hahaha. Its like super meta cards but not enough knoledge of the game.

I guess the whole point could be summoning Siegfried (and/or Makina once it comes out) and benefit for the constant resource generation provided by Kepler & Gate (A bit like Core+Emergency for Cydra control) but that's how far I can go myself, don't know the combos or how the deck should be built and such. So a bit of a insight would be greatly apreciated ^^.

Fear not, the new DD support now ignores your opponets ash. Actually, it probably hurts more to get Ogre'd.

@@ivanmaterazzo2631 a deck being good or bad is irrelevant to skill required to pilot it optimally. A good deck can be easy, a bad deck can be hard to play. This is obvious to anyone who isnt 3 years old. My original comment was a joke though so relax

I've fought several good D/D/D players in the past, building terrifying boards through 1/2 handtraps, having so many combos you never know for sure when to interact. For some reason, all I encounter now are people doing Alexander Genghis pass or scooping after I chose to take Kepler when they activate the level 1 searcher spell.

@@KeertikaAndFallenTree I think the good DDD players took a break.. there was this guy "DDDAVE". You can find his deck profile on teamsamx1's channel. He had like a group/community dedicated to finding the best DDD combo-lines. Idk if he's still around but if he isn't then it's a big chance it's the reason.

@@theghostwing1 there is a guy called Jacked YGO who makes regular D/D/D content and takes D/D/D to his locals against meta decks. I have been learning the deck through his builds and videos.

No amount of skill can help you fix the succeptibility to high impact hand traps, lack of capability to beat established boards or bad meta matchups, not to mention a fairly low ceiling for such a high investment combo deck. If it really was good it would have seen at least some success in tournament play in the last 4 years dont you think?

@@PokemonOnlineSupport you dont say... i thought since the game is still new that there would be a chance to have some fun casual games in the low ranks... made a bujin deck thinking "how bad could it be? its the beginner rank" but from the first game on everything is drytron or heralds. having to play around link climb spam and endless omni negates is exactly the reason why i dont play against people. only had one game against a bricking blue eyes deck which was the only moment i had even remotely fun in this game. uninstalled today after about 10 hours of playing.

They really need to allow you to get gems from casual games

I still have not uninstalled - considering it - but I still have some PvE content to play through, so I guess I will do that throughout the next few days. But yeah, ranked is hopeless. With my Traptrix deck I had a close game against an Archfiend deck (misplayed and lost - I should have used my Ash Blossom to sync up) and won two more against other casual decks. However... I did manage to scrape the resources together for a higher tier deck plus handtraps, so even if I have no clue how to play it, I can look things up in the next few days and see what I can do with it. Still, I prefer older formats and casual games, after all, there is a casual gamemode where I can meme around without being required to run half a dozen handtraps and who knows what else.

This guy seriously judges a whole deck because of one game in BRONZE. The opponent didn't even have non D/D cards

@@juiceguy444 kinda crazy since he’s the deck testing guy and yet he uses a single game to say a deck is bad. I could do the very same with any of the bronze sky striker players in bronze and call the deck bad and it’d just be following his example

I’ve played DDD a while so let me tell you, the opponent in the video sucks. DDD isn’t the best deck admittedly, but this guy clearly had no idea what he was doing.
