Great videos! I enjoy all your stuff. I’m not a hater but your at home measurement the tape measure went over the top of the fluke, on the kayak you used the bump board. I was told the proper way was to lay the fish on the measuring device. Looks like you were good either way. I only do that when it’s close. It’s only what I was told. I don’t know for sure. Please don’t take offense.
I was thinking the same thing after filming this video and editing it. Appreciate your comment. I use a board and lay flat on the water for official measurement. or flat from shore but for some reason went over the top when I shot this video with soft tape. Not even sure what's right or wrong because I have seen guide's measure over top but I do the flat bottom method to be safe like you mentioned.
