If we ever see the 40k end times I sure hope Khaine's and the Nightbringers Shards get reforged for an epic Round 2 in the Rhana Dandra, while Ynnead teabags Slaanesh and frees all the other Eldar Gods from his/her Sexdungeon aka stomach xD And then just total chaos - All Eldar Gods including Ynnead and the Phoenix Kings gather to battle (Vaul making new Badass weapons) - All living loyal Primarchs coming back (Maybe even Sanguinius and Ferrus as new Imperial Saints and totaly not daemons) - All Traitor Primarchs finally do stuff - The Chaos Gods getting pissed at the demise of Slaanesh and finally stop fucking themselves - Maybe Clone Fulgrim can do something with Traitor Fulgrim if Slaanesh gets dunked on - Ghazkull finally getting to that Krork status and starting the big Whaaaagh with Gork and Mork joining the fight in the Warp - Necrons unite under the Silent King and wrecking some shit - The Void Dragon awakens and maybe even cause a split between the Mechanicus and the Imperium (Civil War Mark II) - Dark Eldar finally get out of their torture chamber after Slaanesh's death and giving the Craftworlds their OP pls nerf psyker tech - The Tyranids finally ariving in full strengh - Maybe even the Emperor returning or gettin 100% god status in the warp -Man a 40k end times would be so epic! GW could turn that alone in a game and doesn't even need to bother doing anything after the Rhana Dandra because it just would last fucking million years ... oh yeah, the Tau gettin boned... like immediately xD (Sry for my bad english, I'm german)

There is also the part in Rangdan Xenocides where Void Dragon is released by the Emperor to beat Rangdan. No one really knows what happened, but I have a theory that it was Emperor charging on the back of Void Dragon to beat Rangdan and this image was so badass and amazing that human minds couldn't comperhend it and it had to be erased just so humanity wouldn't go insane.

Hypothetically, could it be possible for the Necrons to shatter the Chaos Gods into shards like they did with the C'Tan? What would happen to the Imperium if it did happen?

The OutSider is out there on the edge of Galaxy waiting and ploting its revenge on the Eldar because Cegorach tricked it into eating other C'tan So not only the Eldar have Slaanesh to worry about they also have a Non Sharded, fully form insane C'tan. That'll teach those pompous Space Elves. Also there was that Tyranid Fleet that quickly made a Hard turn after getting close to the area the Outsider was in. Even the Tyranids don't wanna mess with that.

Still wait for an lore shattering new event, not as huge as end times but something that just picks up the flow of Warhammer again. The story is just so stagnant, the return of the Master-Blueberry was nice but that wore off pretty quick. I just kinda hope for something that finally drives the plot forward.

In all honesty they were kind of dumbasses for squabbling between each other and not thinking that the Necrons would actually turn on them. Maybe except for the Deceiver but then again what did he got from having himself and his surviving brothers getting sharded?

Several things wrong: The Necrotyr civil war happened because the Necron dynasties were divided and the silent king used the Old Ones as a scapegoat to unite his people to fight an external threat (using the promise of immortality to entice them to join together), The Necrons did win the war in Heaven (not maybe) the old ones were burned out of the universe forever and the only reason the Eldar rose up was because the Necrons rebelled against the C'tan after the war and they didn't have the power left after shattering the star gods. I know its comedy but its just wrong. The Eldar and Humanity are the retards of the setting, the Necrons were completely logical in their conclusions and decision making they were just lied to and had no Idea how much missing your soul would suck.

The C’tan where sentient before they got physical bodies. They did actually have visible forms before this, but they where really just mirages of energy.

So the C’tan are basically material, or “scientific” gods in comparison to the psychically-spawned chaos gods. One group feeds off of the psychic energy of one’s emotions, while the other feeds off of the literal energy of the universe.

I’m torn on the C’Tan. I liked their original 4th edition lore where there was just a handful of them left, none of this shard bullshit, and the Necrons were their collective bitches out trying to capture people so their gods could eat their souls. On the other hand, I prefer Necrons now, as they now have personalities and character, whereas before they were all basically mindless zombies, but I really dislike them having gotten one over the C’Tan. I’d prefer a happy medium where the Necrons still have personalities but are still the collective bitches of the C’Tan, who are clearly running things. Also, the Necrons using the webway is bullshit. They were the only race with FTL that was independent of the warp. It would’ve been nice if they’d kept that.

Im calling it right now. If 10-11 thousand years worth of omnisiah worship is gonna one day be the reason the voiddragon wakes up and isn't a dick(to the mechanicus) I won't be surprised.

Hey man, you may not realize it, but the World Shaper is actually a female, and while her fellow necron warriors did manage to break some shards off of her, like Aza'Goroth, she, herself, still hasn't been converted into a C'tan Shard yet (and possibly never will be, if she's lucky); also, if I remember correctly, she didn't abandon her "World Engine," but instead took it elsewhere, possibly within Canoptek Territory.
