For those of you who loved the live action intros during the Halloween specials you're going to love the spring break spooktacular. Those of you didn't, I've got some bad news....

an explination for people who didn't quite understand the ending: Stephanie decided the only thing she had left to do was to find Rottenbacher and steal his protective item....but she took the wrong one....The Swastika armband was the real item, not the cilice. The rules of the game state that a protective item is something that causes the wearer pain (be it physical or emotional). Rottenbacher's armband caused him emotional pain because of the way other people judged him...what makes it worse is that he couldn't take it off. That's why it didn't work when Stephanie took the Cilice, it was the wrong item, and she ended up getting taken anyway...

"The protective item would cause user pain" They didn't say what type of pain.

I need a backstory on rottenbocker. Edit: he seemed smart enough to find a protective item within two weeks without cursing someone else. I would really like to know what kind of a person he was before the game.

Guys, you rottenbacher's barbed cilluc, i have an explanation. As you might have guessed, Rottenbacher wasn't a nazi, but surrounding himself in nazi propoganda was his safe guard. The cillus as it is said in the story is to be worn for punishment of sins. Rottenbacher didn't wear the cillus because he wanted to, or he willingly wore. He wore it because being a Nazi to him was a sin, and he needs to punish himself for it. Inside, he knew being a Nazi was bad, but it was the only way to live. He is still a catholic, and he needed to do that because he still follows catholic religion. If you believe this explanation is correct, please like it so others who need the answer can see this.

No, obviously the red nazi arm band was his protective seal thatprevented him from dying the leg brace was probably because he never wanted to worship hitler and was probably catholic before he entered the game. And worshipped hitler becauuse he was his savior.

This story is a good warning of not getting involved in occult games or anything that has a sinister aura around it.

To anyone who liked this pasta, or even liked the ideas behind it and found the execution a bit lacking: look into its sequel, "Alternate 21328". It takes all of this pasta's issues and fixes them, filling in plot holes and adding further context and background. It's also *way* better written.

I'm getting the feeling that the special item that Rottenbockar wore wasn't the leg thing, but the arm band. Think about it, Nazis today are ridiculed as racist bastards, him wearing that would make him suffer.

I've seen a LOT of your videos, but this is by far my favorite. The plot is gripping, the twists incredible. I was hooked the whole time. Good story, man, the way it was read only helped.

I love the twist at the end of this story. I like how they thought that the protective item had to be an item of some physical pain. That's why you always gotta think outside the box on things.

This was one of the first 30 videos I saved to my watch later playlist. 7 years later and I'm going through them and I just had to watch this. Would be interesting to see if anyone else is watching this video this year 🤔

The more thought I put into this, the more depressed I become. Think about it. It's very unlikely Rottenbacher was a bad guy, or even racist. He could have been a bright, cheery, upbeat person, who loved the company of others, loved to laugh, just loved people in general. He could have been willing to do anything for anyone, just because he would have thought it would have made them happy. Rottenbacher might have been a shining example of humanity, glowing with health and overflowing with compassion and love for others. But, to save his own life, he had to wear that armband, and keep up his racist act. Can you imagine that? Having to give up your love for companionship and laughter to live in isolation, misery, hatred, and knowing that every time someone looks at you, there's hate brewing beneath their eyes. Honestly, I can't imagine a worse hell. Knowing that the people you used to love being near hated and loathed you because they thought you were a Nazi. It makes me feel horrifically sorry for him. Jesus... creepypasta is dark as hell...

This was the first creepy pasta that I ever watched and I would not be a fan of the channel or the genre of not for it! Love the channel!

One this I will say to Jason (the Nazi) you could have spared your friend all this by telling them about how you found the protective item and that it doesn't have to be physical pain, just make you suffer. And Steph (young lady who was foolish enough to play this) for goodness sakes, EBAY!!! Don't go armed robbing some one, GO ON EBAY!!!! Also ask Jason for help! He's survived years! Maybe you're worried as a Nazi he won't help, then ask a friend to talk to him on your behalf. Point is, this whole situation was, not easily, but avoidable.

How do you know when you've found your protective item? Does the zelda new item jingle play once you pick it up or something? Does it burn or hurt or you get a new text saying "congratulations. You won this round in the game?" I am slightly confused. But it was a good story and the whole time I thought she was gona curse Jack at some point.
