Heck yeah you will love it here! Florida in general is lots of fun too! You'll be starting on a great month for good hot weather and trips to the beaches!
Lived in Alvista just past Central Place. Could ride to class on my Onewheel in less than 10 minutes. Definitely not cheap now, but was really nice, price wise, for our first year. Roommate and I got very lucky with our spot on the 3rd floor.
I've been to Alvista once and it's definitely a good option if you want to be close to campus as well as stores to shop at! The higher the floor the cooler you are LOL
I stayed at Azure during my time there - I was totally on foot (so I really just picked what was closest) and coming from Canada I essentially just had to pick a place blind before I even got there! Aside from the roaches, it got me through my 20 months just fine.
It might be one of the best from the list though.. location wise too, very ideal to jumping on 408 and getting to anywhere in Central Florida in minutes!
