i'm only at 16K and honestly 2 in 3 matches plus have a cheater, always brings a smile to my face when the team all agree to vote kick them. it's the little things the community can do
I got a match with a cheater teammate once. It pissed me off and I TK'd him one time and the next round, he tried to kill me at the beginning of the round, resulting him getting kicked by the game. Our purple got mad at me and decided to vote kick me, but my two other teammates who were mad at the cheating teammate declined to kick me 😂 Yeah I'd rather lose some Elo than to win as a cheater
its not even the matter of rank, i have 2 accs, one is at 13k and one is at 5k, on both accs you meet rage cheaters from the frist rkund in at least 1 out of 4 games
cs2 cheaters are at least human even if they are lowlife losers like closet tf2 cheaters, but the bots are something else they just mass queue to ruin a server's pacing as much as possible before moving on to another server, preventing players from playing entirely instead of trying to grind elo with game commitment. Late night and midnight casual tf2 in NA is barely playable, need to hop 7-8 servers just to find one full of humans.
Conversely, many people see cheaters everywhere despite no proof. There are as many cheaters as there are legit players who people accuse of cheating, if not less. It's an equally significant issue in my opinion since it obfuscates the actual issue which is the blatant aimbotting and spinbotting that's destroying Premier. Legit cheaters? Unless they're noobs who rely on cheats, no one could actually tell they're cheating without watching them for days on end, if at all. These people, as scummy as they are, aren't the real issue that people are complaining about right now.
yea i thought i’d hadn’t played against cheaters until i reviewed some demos for fun and sure enough almost every game had someone legit cheating or just blatantly wall hacking lmao i’m only ranked 10k
yeah all you need is the wall hacks from the command prompt and someone like me that was at 11k could probably double that. at this point ik the game and maps so well I could prob make it look legit
all it takes is a player that already know the game/maps to turn on the wall hacks from the command prompt and that's all you would need to look legit.
@LyritZian what i meant with that is Counter-Strike as a whole, valve screwed up countless times in this game field but the community and the game always grew bigger, I am sure they are cooking something that needs time to develop taste but when it's finished it's gonna melt ur tastebuds

Looks like Maxim never grinded mm , or maybe the servers he was playing on had less cheaters. In Asia it has always been like this, since the golden era. With a trackers you can see there is literally a cheater in every game or an account banned after many years. Even me playing with the new platforms like 5E and Perfect world China , I encounter many cheaters or wallers that get caught after weeks or months
@@HerbaceousM8 Asia as region, its very big compared to Europe or NA+SA combined , it has always being big, you just don’t hear much about profesional teams that make it , but in comparison the amount of players from each region , Asia has the most, remember that China has its own Steam + CS server separate from the world. And as Asia overall , it combines Some part of India and Russia since some parts of those countries has better ping to HK\SG servers
I uninstalled cs2 few days ago and started playing valorant with some of my friends, after 20 games or so i got my first cheater, i got wall banged 3 times in the head and i reported the guy, the game immediately ended after a few seconds with a beautiful CHEATER DETECTED pop up. Why can't we have this in CS? 😢

Frankly, I do use faceit and I know their anti cheat has essentially access to everything, that's why I Dualboot on my PC. One OS for gaming on Windows and Linux for the rest. I ran into nothing but cheaters last night. 3 games in a row. Rarely made it out of spawn first time I’ve experienced this since early csgo. Really made me sad and I was playing with a friend I brought into cs2. Hard to make excuses for it.
I quit a month ago. The spinbots were the least of a problem for me. There are so many wallhackers now you can't tell who is cheating and who is not. One of my teammate the other day killed someone through a dead body on Vert ramp without seeing him at all. Just quit the game and personally I don't expect a fix or something, because this has been going for years it s just now that it s huge, they cannot do something about it.Within time some guys will just quit and it might feel more playable

Well, at least we have Faceit. To give you context: Faceit in South America is not active as in Europe or America, and it was almost dead since CS2 was released. Back in December 2023 there was really few matches online (only 25-28) and very few people in queue (18-25 people), so the queue was 7-8 minutes long, and when it find a match, it was completely unbalanced, with a lot of level 10 among level 3 players. Right now there usually there are more than 100 matches at the same time, and the same of people on queue. Matches are finally balanced and queue times are 2-3 minutes long in worst cases. So yeah, thanks to Valve, Faceit South America is alive. And also, you can notice what's right and what's wrong about the game itself. You are able to isolate what is the whole game working itself and what is the Valve management. And added to the cheaters problem, in Faceit you notice that Valve servers sucks, because they are always laggy and stuttering. Many things that we blame the whole CS2 game is actually from Valve servers. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying the game is perfect or such as good as CSGO, but the Faceit Experience is so much better.
@@RochaPartneristDeadFireHD Yep, that's true, but I'm not talking about tickrate. Faceit servers are better, with a better bandwidth, and obviously, because there are less players at the same time, servers are less collapsed, so it feels smoother.

It seems you might be referring to another aspect, such as the fact that we never directly connect to Valve servers but always go through relays. Although Faceit servers allow direct connections, it's doubtful that this would significantly affect the speed since we're dealing with milliseconds.
I think the most telling point is that anyone who wants to even think about going pro will scoff at you if you bring up premier. The thought of playing valve mm has been so outlandish to top tier players because of a lack of rewards and cheaters speak volumes.

I'm so happy you made this. I'd have though premier was decent in terms of the legitmacy of most players until I hit 21k elo. I somehow got to 23k elo and had more spinbots than genuine players. It's insane
A question pls Before (like 3 months), I could easily get two ranks of XP each week even with casual matches but now is very hard to make it , why that (i play 2-4 prem - comp matches every day)
4:25 Pay to play subscription to play CS would kill the game, us cheaters already pay to cheat monthly. Requiring normal players to pay just to play would kill this game, even though we already have prime which you need to pay for, changing prime to have a phone number required linked to your account would get rid of a decent amount of us. Most cheaters arent going to go through with getting a new number every time we get banned. Which would be perfect because Valve doesnt want to do a kernel anti cheat
Do cheaters honestly feel like they are "winning" by cheating? Or do they get satisfaction by ruining other people's enjoyment? Either way, it tells you everything you need to know about their level of maturity and mental capacity - not much higher than a toddler - and that's an insult to toddlers.
a big factor with regards to cheaters is the weekly drop. since valve changed the drop system where u can choose between a random case and a skin, lots of people are chasing for that drop. KNOWING that you are guaranteed to get a case weekly, lots are just going to play a game with cheats so they can win the game and gain lots of exp. and not to mention the current state of DM. literally, I CANNOT JOIN A DM THAT DONT HAVE LESS THAN 5 HACKERS IN IT!! and only a few of legit players lol...
For Valve this is a big issue, because somehow they have to maintain that huge store and item system they have built on the game, and if people leaving CS2, microtransactions will plummeting.
The thing is, a good anticheat takes a lot of time to develop. You can't do a big anti cheat update in a week. I'm really hope they're working on some anti cheat that prevents all of this, but yeah it will come when its ready in the meantime we gotta play faceit
I just wanted to say that it's hard to even compare 1.6 to modern matchamaking like in CS2 because back then there was no rankings, so there was no gain in cheating, so with only VAC in pracc matches from IRC, you could say that majority of matches were clean. BUT it wasn't uncommon to see VAC bans if someone was cheating, so cheat database were updated by Valve, but it was possible to play with new cheat for month or two before it was detected by VAC. Then, if you go to leagues they had custom anticheats like today's Faceit, for example ESL got his Aequitas, so even back then no one was completely trusting VAC everywhere where some kind of competition was involved. Although, Aequitas had totally different approach than VAC and it wasn't scanning for cheats by definitions, it was just scanning active processes and performing screenshots at random everything for manual verification (along with mandatory recorded POV demo) by ESL staff if there was doubt.
Played for years in csgo no cheaters. Then i came back to cs2 a few months ago and i cant find a game without one. Example. Me and my five stack were up agianst a cheater that was spinbotting all the way thro. This made us and his team report him ingame and on steam. Legit two months after he still hasnt gotten banned at all. Ridiculous.
I don't know why anyone thinks CS has any exciting future under valve, which is ironic to say after they just updated the game. Valve make some of the best games, they just are incapable of maintaining any online game they make to the standard set by any other AAA developer as long as they aren't named Dota 2 - > This is also why their leaked Neon Prime multiplayer game is completely uninteresting. Valve can't even do as little as making the new player experience bearable, which is why this will be the 3rd game that they have had copied and dwarfed by the competitor. Meanwhile at riot Layed off a bunch of staff recently. Its Top LoL teams can't even play the game without using hidden accounts because of constant DDOS attacks agaismt the server. The recent LCS walkout Some horrible decisions made by them on the esports side of things. And a bunch of other drama. Riot has just as many issues if not more than valve and I personally wouldnt be a shill. Valve's been ok maintaining games they actively work on. You can't really expect any company to suddenly drop a project or two just to spend a entire game's worth of resources to attempt to fix a bot issue in a almost 20 year old game your no longer actively working on. At that point why not just make a new game or product.
How about an intricate voting sytem which helps reduce the problem? Like lets say if one team has a cheater, everyone will have an option to bring up an option to pin point that guy is cheating, if 50% in our team and one player from opposite team agrees, then match stops and the person pin pointed will be banned. While there are prolly 100 of scenarios but at least you will be able to ban a person and stop the match instantly. Also in case if someone is kicked by trolling, they can appeal and it goes to overwatch, decision from overwatch will result in temp ban for everyone else in team for trolling. Something like that? Worst case could be when both teams have 3 cheaters each, then remaining 2 in each, should have power to stop the game and report all other, maybe after x number of times vote kick option has been brought up in each team? Idk, it feels Valve should get a seperate team to think about something more simpler like this while other work on anti-cheat
Will never understand why Valve dont just partner with Faceit & use there anti cheat, is it perfect? No, but at least its something! & for the people who would complain about an intrusive anti cheat, just dont play the game then.
I have not played competive in more than 2 years, just come in to visit and play a few hours to see what's new. The cheaters are always present and I am sick of it.
It'd be cool if Valve asked players on what kind of anti cheating measures people would like, maybe through an ingame poll. Like asking if players prefer ID verification, external anti-cheat or some other things.
I don't give a single fuck about intrusive anti cheat. Valve can watch me day in and day out. I just don't want to have to go to a 3rd party service just to play the fucking game as its intended. its embarrassing. It has been like this for too long and its getting worse. Faceit was the best way to play CSGO for a very long time. ESEA was the best way to play CSS and CS 1.6. Valve has never had the "go to" matchmaking system that the game deserves. We are talking about the greatest shooter of all time! We know it. Valve knows it. Its time they just fix it. Its not okay.
Something everyone seems to miss about anti-cheat from valve is that the games they make pretty much always support linux natively. Linux has much stricter permissions e.t.c which from my understanding make a more invasive anti-cheat (similar to faceit) infeasible.

I really do hope you're right. You can't forget that this is now a fully released game, and should be treated as much. To let these cheats go rampage, an unbalanced elo system, and unusual bugs you should never see in competitive matches, the game is still in beta. At least it should be treated as such.
Glad to know an Anti-Cheat is their N°1 priority but why wasn't it the priority from the beginning ? They could also just have bought the FaceIt AC algorythm, it's not perfect but still better than anything Valve has came up with until now.
Also, let's talk about Faceit elo regulation. So many shit players are now at the same elo as good, and I meet trollers, who give up after losing pistol round, nearly every game...
This kinda fucked up my entire Prem match experience. Even when it didn’t have any cheaters. say I died in some way, always the concept of the opponent could be cheaters just doesn’t just go away, since I’ve met a poor aim waller making calls on our team. That guy was even bottom-fragging. How can we now confirm enemy are not cheating? Theres no way at all.
I’ve played 2 wingman games total with a buddy (I was new-ish to the game at the time). In each one, both players on the other team were blatantly cheating. One pair had blatant aimhacks, the other pair were spinbotting. I’ve never touched wingman since lol. As a new player I encountered cheaters in probably 1/3 of all comp matches. That’s a low estimate. Now that I have 100+ hrs in game, the issue has lessened a bit. Now it’s maybe 1/10 comp games have blatant cheaters. I guess this is because my trust factor has gone up? But it’s absolutely brutal for new players lol and valve is lucky I didn’t stop playing after the horrible start I experienced. Not just a ton of cheaters, but toxic af cheaters. Who will talk sht to you as they are one tapping you from across the map with the deagle. Whoever they are queue’d with who aren’t cheating will also be sht talking you when you tell them they’re playing with a cheater and should kick them. Rarely the other team will actually kick the cheaters, because they’re usually not queuing alone.
What everyone fails to realize is the fact that most cheaters are probably closet cheaters, I myself have never cheated but if I were to cheat, I would definitely attempt to hide it, start off with toggling walls on and off just to gain info, work up to maybe a soft aim bot, and get more aggressive as needed to make sure I secure a win. People who spin bot or just wall bang everything are wildin.
5/5 games today, BLATANT cheaters. 2/5 there was a BLATANT cheater on both teams. Just imagine how many people are closet cheating on top of it. It’s almost 100% guaranteed at this point that someone in your lobby is either actively cheating, or has cheated within the past 60 days.
Just had a match with a blatant cheater toggling after we won so many rounds, the enemy team were all randoms and didn't care about the cheater and just wanted the win...
I hope that if Valve releases a new anticheat, I hope it will not only be for CS2, but also for TF2 and L4D2. TF2 has also been infested with hackers and bots since 2017 due to the leak of the source code
I have friends im not proud of who are cheating in cs2 and they are using FREE cheats and full spinbotting and not getting banned so I think cheater problem cant get worse from here
its even getting worse in 10k elo, i played premier a couple nights ago with my team and we faced two spinbotters and multiple wallers throughout 3 games. vaclive is vacdead edit: in the recommended feed of this video there was a video with 19 views promoting free spinbot cheat. lovely!
First of all: why do they still have to gather so much data until they can give us a functioning Anti-Cheat. Second of all: Why the hell does their VAC not detect people, who are rampaging all over the map with bunnyhops and this new rapid fire. Like how does the Anti-Cheat just stand there while 5 bullets has been fired from an awp in less than a second which also hits 5 targets who are also in 5 different position and be like: "Hey, that was a nice shot. Keep going buddy"
In Season 1 Premier ranking for top 1 to top 100 there are only 5 ppl, all others have been banned. Which means 95% of the people in CS2 premier are cheating in some whay. It's CRAZY. For 20 years of gaming experience I have never ever witnessed a game infested with so many cheaters.
I guarantee you met way more cheaters in that time they would just be used to hiding it in case they got sent to overwatch. Now however overwatch is gone and cheaters know that they will not get banned so they started rage hacking.
They should put it back the overwatch system. Maybe it doesnt make the diference but it is something that can help becouse the thing we are seeing is like the anticheat doesnt works
Yesterday me and my friends played 5 matches and we had legit hackers in 2/5 as a minimum. We never experienced that before. It was wall and aimbot. It's a huge problem. We will go faceit soon for sure.
After a 5 months break I started playing cs again. The first game was good, the second and third and fourth game was all filled with cheaters. Never happened before. I'm just disappointed!
Nothing changed for me personally from csgo to cs2, I had rage hackers pretty much every game against me in both games. I coud only play faceit which just happened to have better servers too. Now valve forced even faceit to run on 64 tick, it seems they really don't want their players to have a fun time. They try to force people to play matchmaking and then they don't do anything about the cheaters.
Tf2 has been going through the same thing for years. It’s just a common valve issue. Gave himself said like 2+ years ago that they were working on an anti cheat for tf2. I want to believe that because it’s cs2, they will actually do something. But idk
TF2,CS2 both desperately need a better anti cheat solution. At this point I’m okay with a kernel level anti cheat like vanguard as long as the games are playable!!!
