This looks like if you went to Newgrounds animation section in 1998, sorted videos by lowest rating, and hired the "top" choice to make a Christmas movie for you.

A lot of these movies are godawful, but this one has the distinction of feeling like it's going to transition into a real-life creepypasta at any moment

as a dutch, it feels unbelievable we havent yet found the east-west people, I mean the country is like 2 hours long

To call something the "worst movie ever made" is basically a cliche at this point, and more often than not, said thing at least has one minute diminutive thing that you could look at and say is at least partially good. This is not only the worst movie ever made, but it could very well be the worst thing we as human beings have ever created.

The auto-generated closed captions decided that “Rudy Rotnase” is actually “Rudy rotten ass.” I think that’s pretty accurate, all things considered. Thank you so much for for suffering through this hellish shit-show for us, Phelous! I am genuinely concerned that watching Rudy Red Nose may have a negative impact on your mental health. Please watch some good animation to help counteract the atrocity you were subjected to, and maybe have a couple of stiff drinks just for good measure! I didn't realize we could get worse than dingo, less coherent than bevanfield, and more upsetting than the Christmas tree, but here we are.

This year, Phelous has given us all the gift of confidence. Because if these folks can put out this dreck and have it sold, then so can people with actual talent and artistic integrity~

My niece walked in the room while I was watching the review, and started crying and throwing a tantrum saying "I WANT THE REAL RUDOLPH!"😂

I think I would have preferred Dingo's take on the story. That might even have involved Wabuu informing us that all of the other reindeer are sooooo stupid.

Just when we thought Christmas movies couldn't get worse than such 'delights' as The Christmas Tree, Rapsittie Street Kids, The Christmas Light, or the Christmas Brigade.

This really looks exactly like a modern NFT cartoon some deluded idiots put together, except this was released way before this year's NFT fad. I don't even completely get what the deal is with NFTs, but this thing still unmistakably hits that look. It looks exactly like that Red Ape Family cartoon.

I miss the time ten minutes ago when I believed "worse than Dingo" was an exaggeration. It was a good time.

This looks like something that you’d see characters from a show or movie watching on TV for a split second during a scene. Except it’s real. Dear God.

Jeez, that "start telling!" clip, with him "holding the gun" is genuinely terrifying... And unbelievably funny.

This is one of the only cartoons that would be improved by SynchroVox (having real human mouths on the characters). And that’s incredible in its own way. Also wanted to add that Phelan is still the MVP of milking short cartoon films for content.

This makes Rapsittie Street Kids: Believe in Santa look like a pixar film

This "movie" is perfect if you want to calm kids down during the holidays. They'll be so bored that they won't notice that Christmas is over.

Rudolph isn't the only one who didn't survive that ending skit. I died laughing.

If you have taught me anything over these last many years, it's that I should never EVER get to the point of thinking I've seen the worst of what a mind has to offer for media "entertainment".....because somehow you find the next level deeper of awful. We're glad you do, but damn.....Dingo, you've just gone up a notch, but barely.

As ridiculous Dingo Pictures got with their movies they were actually entertaining in their own way. This "movie" makes those look like masterpieces with just how bizarre this was.

It's a fun little counterpart to the Rex review the other day: a conventional story barely animated and voiced, or an insane story with amazing production value that's just plain weird. One's good but bizarre, the other is just lazy trash. Merry Christmas Phelan and Allison! I can't wait to see what you guys do next.

Animation worse than Dingo, and story pacing worse than Bevanfield. Absolutely inconceivable. I'm glad the EastWest dub is among those two qualities. Apparently it IS literally impossible to dub worse than EastWest. We all THOUGHT it was impossible to do those other two things. (There's also something jarring about these EastWest dubbers who obviously aren't fluent in English speaking a script with the word "dissing" all over it. That, or it's just weird to hear "dissing" in a Christmas movie.)

"They don't need presents, they are happy in their poorness". That was a joke, but I saw a Christmas play at a church a few years back where that was seriously the message.

For this Santa, it wasn't about the presents, it was about trawelling and relaxing on places like Eastern islands and Egypt. The presents are only for paid customers, not some poor people.

Speaking of The Frog King, two versions in particular NEED reviews--the version from Cannon Movie Tales with Aileen Quinn that I absolutely love and the version with Robin Williams as the frog that is DEFINITELY interesting:) There are a TON of those fairy tale theatre films from the 80s that deserve a Phelous series!

Dear God. Judging from the thumbnail, I thought this was another one of those joke videos you do on occasion. This looks like somebody took the assets from an early Flash game and tried to make a movie out of them because they were bored one afternoon. The things you put yourself through for your fans is astounding.

Good God, this animation looks like it's on the same level of quality as the godawful Cinematronics version of Alice's Adventures In Wonderland, except somehow even more poorly edited. And that's not even getting into the "dubbing" and the abysmal pacing. This special actually makes The Christmas Tree look competent in comparison, it's that horrendous. Thank you for sacrificing your sanity once again to entertain us and WARN us about this kind of stuff. Also, what the hell is the point of giving Santa a child if it adds NOTHING to ANYTHING about this special?

Wait... a production worst than a Dingo animation? In what universe did God divide by zero?

2014 - Phelous gives a review on the most infamously, unintentionally hilarious German animated film. 2021 - Phelous reviews a German animated film that has even worse animation than Dinosaur Adventure. 2024 - Phelous brings to light he knows fluent German due to his obsession with Dingo Pictures and German dubs of his favorite films, and reviews any odd animated German film that never got translated in any other language.

Rudi died on his way back cause he met Wabuu who found him to be sooooo stupid and slow that he beat him to death with Wushal who didn't mind being used as a bludgeon cause he had to sit through Leonardo's long boring story (which caused Wushal to long for the time he almost died under that fallen tree as the story of Rudi so terrible that it is torture even for Dingo Pictures characters and Wabuu convinced Wushal that he could make the bad memories go away by using Wushal as a bludgeon to beat Rudi to death with). However it was only partially successful, so Wabuu used Wushal to bludgeon Rudi's brother Leonardo to death, but Wushal stopped being effective, so Wabuu finished Leonardo the Reindeer using the Silver Gauntlets from OoT (Wabuu stole them from that Rambling Owl that wouldn't shut up in Leonardo's story) to lift Next Mutation's Leonardo who he also used as a bludgeon to deliver the finishing blow to Leonardo the Reindeer and the combined stupidity of the two braindead Leonardos destroyed them both as if canceling each other out. Wabuu then told Wushal (who no longer remembered Rudi or his brother save for a overwhelming feeling of dread when he heard their names which pleased Wabuu) the story of how he killed the stupid reindeer brother while Wushal was recovering in the hospital, with Wushal thanking Wabuu for the sweet gift of amnesia and they both had a Merry Christmas (as Wabuu wanted Rudi dead and to see Wushal in pain for Christmas, while also having Wushal indebted to him for his amnesia). Merry Christmas, Phelous!

One thing I've never understood about "animation studios" like this, is why the designs of the characters are so god awful. I get not having the skills or money to properly animate something, but there's no reason the characters have to look as shit as the animation.

Well, for all the movies the A&W Root Bear might sue for defamation by being associated with, he has the strongest case with this one.

Imagine if this was picked up by a professional dubbing quality. Couldn't save this poorly made screen saver. If anything a bunch of guys with thick accents with barely any understanding of the English language stumbling over their lines in monotone seems to compliment this...this... whatever it is perfectly. Aside from that, these mumbling voice actors really go to show how much talent the other Dingo pictures dub team brings. At least good ol' Wabuu can emote sorta....

Btw, The "Golden Mule" probably was a literal translation from the German "Goldesel", a magic donkey from a Grimm's fairytale (I just looked up the english title, and apperently it is "The Wishing-Table, the Gold-Ass, and the Cudgel in the Sack" lol). The donkey had the ability to literally s**t and barf out gold coins. In Germany the phrase "Goldesel" is therefore used to describe a person who is like an endless source of money.

I think the ending skit had better animation than the actual movie.

WOW this is a special kind of I don't give a... You hang this DVD up in a kid's room to scare all the evil spirits away.

My mom made it crystal clear that Santa brings the kids the toys, but sends her the bill. When I was 5 and commented on green Wal-Mart stickers on some presents, she angrily said "Well Santa and the elves can't make all the **** toys! They have to shop at Wal-Mart, too!" I love it.

This movie's animation style makes me think of a low-budget South Park knockoff.

This movie makes all the other other bad Christmas movies that Phelous reviewed look like Disney tier animation. At least all of those movies attempted animation using frames or had decent voice acting as bad as they were. This is just clip art that someone took a puppet warp tool and used tween animation.

Okay as a German I wonder who the hell funded that release. The dub reminds me of English presentations I had to endure by classmates in 9th grade, where noone had a clue what they were saying.

Phelous jokes about these weird films being like melatonin, but I'll be a damned hairbrush if I haven't fallen asleep watching Bevenfield and Dingo. "Uhhhmmmm", indeed. Also, this entire thing makes me think of analog horror; I feel like something truly awful is meant to be happening, ya know, besides the animation.

I remember that Dingo Picture's Town Musicians of Bremen actually was kinda nice to watch in German because there at least the narrator gave a performance that would be entertaining for kids to listen to, even if not much happened on screen. But in this case things are moving so slowly, even the best and most energetic narrator would have a hard time. They might have been better off only using still images.
