Classic design, hasn't changed much at all in 20 years or so, nice polish, perpetual calendar, grab and go, precision, accuracy, no servicing or battery change, and that warm titanium ultra-lightness makes The Citizen Chronomaster very attractive. They've recently removed the Chronomaster text and replaced it with an eagle. I prefer the text, just love the font.
I agree wholeheartedly how well these all-titanium Chronomasters wear on the wrist. Along with the accuracy, the lifestyle of owning and wearing one makes them easy everyday kind of watches. Because you just don't have to think about their maintenance.
This impressive level of accuracy is also obtained by Longines with the VHP movement in their Conquest line ; also has the very convenient perpetual calendar. But it is not solar powered and I fully agree this battery change operation is a low point in watch ownership.
Did I hear you right.. you were able to buy this locally in Singapore? I thought it was a Japan only piece? One of the biggest issues for me is not being able to try it on locally (Australia).
@@swallowtailnerd1986 Your best bet is Gnomon. I think they have a very established sales channel with overseas buyers. I’m not affiliated to them in any way though.
That's a quartz watch. It's supposed to be accurate. That's not the same as a mechanical watch. You're comparing a quartz watch to a mechanical watch. Of course that's going to be more accurate. It's like comparing apples and oranges. They're not the same.
