My Dads and I's collection of polaris sleds. 90 650,92 650, 93 750 STORM, 94 800 STORM, 02 600 classic, 02 700 edge, 04 pro xr 800. Also have a 74 johnson goldon ghost, another 94 800 storm custom and 96 xlt 600.
When i was a kid growing up, my family had seven polaris snowmobiles, thanks dad!! Needless to say us eight kids had a blast. Yeah! Love it! the revved up yooper
2:27 you can definitely tell that 700 edge was backed in there. I remember when reverses on snowmobile first came out. Everybody was calling people who put a reverse on their sled, a p*ssy because real men lifted the ass end up in spun it around 90° to 180°.
Always liked the style of the older polaris. Storm, xcr etc. Those dg stingers sound like poo in my opinion lol but to each their own! Not alot of people like triples because of reliability issues but parts are cheap and everywhere for old polaris's. Have 12k miles on my 98 yamaha vmax xtc 700 triple and it just finally got down to 100 psi in all 3 cylinders. Either way pretty sweet collection. All look fairly clean
I know this is an older video but that is a nice collection of sleds. I would love to have one of those Indy storms, they are nice sleds. I have a 550 classic.
Great sleds. I have a few of those myself. The 750cc dont sound right? Or maybe it was the video. Still was neat to watch. I really enjoy my 650. Runs strong and no problems. My 800 storm that's a different story.
He's talking about how boggy that 750 sounded. Even the 800 has a low end bog. They don't hold a candle to those 650s. That 1990 650 will eat those storms without a doubt
The 750 storm was one of the nicest looking sleds Polaris built next to the 91 RXL but the 750 storm was more like a drizzle in performance compared to the 800 storm the following year.
Someone was trying to tell me that in the storms came factory stock with racing pipes on them. I said no they came with a three into one with a muffler
Other than the financial investment (??? Maybe should say loss...) here this is really nothing special as they are all fairly new, not all that special, and fairly easily obtainable. If he had 2 or 3 real vintage Polaris's in the mix it would be way more interesting and impressive...
wally walton that 90 & 92 650 is worth a pretty penny. those two.storms are cherry. obviously you have no knowledge of what classic muscle sleds are find a hobby
