These decks are really focused. They're usually split in 2 or 3 themes and lose some synergy. Here, seems they are very focused on top of the reprint value, also the new cards look more interesting than before, I'd rather have 10 new very focused and good cards than 15 somewhat focused with only a couple good cards

which one is better tho? I'm thinking of buying one of them, but I'm a bit undecisive (maybe leaning more towards Party Time, and Draconic Dissent is discarted for me since a friend in my play group already has it, and I didn't fully liked it)

And, to a much lesser extent, Bel Borca. It's auch worse deck but it hilarious using Jester's Cap as a combat trick. Also waiting for a Mardu exile matter commander ti be able to smash thise two decks together.

One thing I'm surprised you didn't look at was the "Alternate Commanders" (Each of these decks has a Mono-Coloured Legendary that can Choose a Background, alongside a Background that covers the deck's other colour) in each deck... In Party Time for example the Alternate Commander (Burakos, Party Leader + Folk Hero) is MUCH stronger than the normal one. As for the other decks, Exit From Exile has Durnan of the Yawning Portal + Passionate Archaeologist, Draconic Dissent has Baeloth Barrityl, Entertainer + Clan Crafter, and Mind Flayarrrs has Zellix, Sanity Flayer + Haunted One

Okay, he's a free tip for your Moxfield ad, one feature that it has is that it'll give you the odds of playing something on curve. This is a very useful piece of info if you've got a commander that you absolutely want to play as soon as possible. Archidekt doesn't have that. Contrarywise, Archidekt lets me classify a card as a different type, like I can set my Realmcloaked Giant or Revelark as a Sorcery, instead of a creature. Moxfield doesn't let me do that.

I haven't bought any precons since they stopped selling them for $20, but I think I'm going to get the Exit from Exile deck, it looks *really* awesome. I have a bunch of ideas for stuff to put in it.

I always love watching your precon power up videos, but this format was excellent. Gives a nice taste of each deck in a tidy 40 minute video. My only suggestion would be mentioning the “alternate” commanders for each deck but this was awesome

Exit from Exile has to be my favorite of these. I'm thinking of doing a Jund deck with Prosper and Faldorn as secret commanders. There's a lot of cool exile stuff like Suspend, Cascade, Foretell, Impulse Draw, and prolly more I'm missing

I think the cruel deck would love the new Urabrask, gives you impluse draw each turn in addition to your normal draw step and turns the first draw step of your opponents into i,pulse draw, hosing counters and combat tricks

One thing yall forgot to mention is Mind Flaaayrs includes an two infinite combos. One is a mana and the other is a mill.

@@aryanrejected-2163 The deck comes with Hullbreaker Horror, Everflowing Chalice, Sol Ring, and Consuming Aberration. With Hullbreaker and Sol Ring out. Tap Sol Ring for 2 colorless. Cast Everflowing Chalice for 0. Trigger Hullbreaker to return Sol Ring to the Hand. Use a floating colorless to cast Sol Ring. Trigger Hullbreaker and return Everflowing. Tap Sol Ring, you now have 3 floating. You’ll never 1 colorless each time but it doesn’t matter cause you can just say “I do this to produce infinite mana”. Then you can multi kick Everflowing so you don’t lose that mana. If you have Consuming, Hullbreaker, and Sol Ring out. Each time you cast Everflowing and Sol Ring through the same infinite mana gain loop, Consuming is going to proc forcing your opponents to mill until they hit a land. So you can theoretically force a win or draw. A win by milling everyone out. A draw if you really want to be a jerk and if they have a recycling effect just say you’re going to do it indefinitely, if essentially stalling the game indefinitely.

Thanks for another great video Joe + BZ, i went from "meh" on this Legends set in general to HYPE on these precons-SO much value and so many great reprints. Also, this affirms my inclination to buy just the Party time deck (to rip apart for value after a game or two) and the Gruul deck (to actually play and upgrade, fun to have something like Prosper but with access to green, who needs treasures anyway)

Black Market connections is amazing in exactly, Thalisse, Reverent Medium, and basically mid for every other deck out there. I can see playing it with any 5+ MV commander, but most would rather have other forms of ramp/card draw.

I have not tested all the Capenna commanders preconstructed and now new commanders are here. I would like to test them all and enjoy it, before upgrades. Regarding upgrades, I upgrade selected precons to CEDH level or close to CEDH. Doing this will get the most potential of the deck and toned it down to casual plus.

I already preordered the party deck because I wanted white/black deck but now the horror one seems pretty sick as well. As a proud owner of pr Prosper deck, I feel like I have enough of play from exile to skip the gruul precon. Draconic rage seems underwhelming a lot. And I was VERY hyped for it.

I’m not super high on Goad for a deck’s main theme, but the Izzet deck looks packed with fun cards I want to play! Also, I am 100% picking up the Mind Flayarrrs deck because it’s what I have been looking for in a Dimir deck for years!!!!

gavin did an unboxing and outcast is in the horror deck already. I'm impressed with the mana base in these, usually that's the first thing i look at to improve but these are serviceable and the reprints are really good.

None of these are specific decks I wanna play (I’d build the Gruul one if I didn’t play Prosper), but the new direction in design is great. We don’t need so many new commander cards if they make precons and commander sets constantly, there are plenty of cool ones here anyway. Great set of reprints that I’m excited to pick up cheap even without buying a deck. And since we have so many precons these days, they don’t need to cover multiple foci as much as they historically have.

hey Nerds! I was interested in the Izzet precon and wanted to build it forced combact with dragon subtheme but I really don't know how to do it, any chance your precon upgrade video is gonna build it in this direction too instead of dragon tribal? cause I think a lot of people is going dragon tribal but this commander fits forced combact way better. also, would you say the precon is worth it?

Firkraag 2nd ability of growing and drawing triggers off your own creatures that have to attack and do damage so i think a fun subtheme would be juggernauts. The deck already has an artifact subtheme and i think if you want dragon tribal miiryam is way better so you stick Firkraag in that 99.

In my play group goad is one of the best mechanics to get the game moving. Often we end up just playing battle ship commander and its just build, board wipe, build and wait for someone to win some how. Crazy as it sound sometimes we all scoop after only one person dies if the games long and boaring.

I think Omen Machine is a great card for the Exit from Exile deck. I think the only card in the deck that says "Draw cards" is Return of the Wildspeaker, so this would be super one-sided.

I always felt like Umbris was lacking an extra bit of text to really make it work as a horror tribal commander or even a mythic rarity commander card. Glad they fixed that with the new horror commander.

Black Market Connections wants a proper home -- decks where you care about loss of life or lifegain decks. In those decks it will shine. Greven, Predator Captain and Willowdusk, Essence Seer for instance, will love the life loss. Dina, Soul Steeper will be gaining you lots of life and will love the ramp, draw and the extra body to sacrifice.

Card value in Party Time is absolutely bonkers. Deep Gnome Terramancer and Black Market Connections alone are probably worth the price of the whole precon. You get skullclamp, mutavault, mother of runes, sevinnes reclamation, grim hireling, maskwood nexus, castle locthwain ontop of that.

Rob the archives is this turn only, I know casualty is good in this deck but there's so many other impulse draw cards that say until the end of your next turn that I don't think it makes the cut

Outside of a landfall centered deck geode rager is an under performer. I played it for a few months in my marisi deck and it usually goads 1 player then gets removed.

I actually like the firkraag goad deck. Yea it needs a ton of work but theres a lot of good cards that could be in this deck and recent sets had loads and loads of dragons. Dragons used to be expensive but theres lots of good cheap $$$ dragon cards now.
