Many thanks. All I needed to do was unplug the power as instructed. After 30 seconds the computer booted up fine and the monitor functions!!!! Thanks 😁
This also works for me but it seems I have to do it every single time I turn on my computer, I see the HP load screen but when windows boots the screen goes off then I have to perform this routine again every single time I boot the PC.

thank you so much!!! My monitor was black for awhile, and all I had to do to resolve this issue was to unplug the monitor for 30s and reconnect the power cord to the monitor!!! thank you so much
Hello, Im having some problems with my Windows 10 HP Desktop. I turn on the pc and I hear the fan and see lights on my CPU, but my desktop turns on for a while then turns off after a couple of minutes. The power button of the desktop lights up so i know its turned on. I tried turning the desktop power button off and on, it works for like 4 seconds then turns off again.
my monitor was working fine last night, and this morning when i turned it on the resolution was changed, from 1440x900 to something else, i dont remeber but it was much smaller, normally my recommended setting os 1440,900 but it was changed, i tried to change it to full hd and now it wont work
Okay so i dont have any spare monitors, i was using my tv as one (with HDMI) sadly i did everything i could from the video and i still got that blank screen

Thank you very much.in my case it worked for me.i open the system unit, and I unplugged the memory and inserted it back and boom it worked..tnx once again..
Awhile back my PC got a blue screen with the good ol' ":-(" fronting the error message. As it was awhile ago I cannot remember the exact error message whether it was memory failure etc. However: The graphics card was a new GTX 1060 (which works in my new pc), the RAM was 2x8GB (very unlikely both failed), the PSU was a new 500W EVGA (which works in my new pc), the monitor is a samsung (which works with my new pc). I completely stripped my old pc and reseated everything to ensure that it was not a loose connection. It was not after a recent windows update, and the new upgraded components had been in the machine for a good few months without any issues. I was running on a i5 4460. I believe that none of the recommended steps in this tutorial worked as all the components that this video suggests could be faulty work absoloutely fine. The only piece of hardware that I believe it may possibly be would be the HDD or CPU, the computer powers on fine however the main cpu fan starts to kick up a fuss after a few seconds and the computer will not post on the monitor.
In my case neither is the problem with the monitor nor the vga cable. I've also tried cleaning the RAM modules but, it does not work. The fan of the system unit also turn on and the lights also but, it does not display anything on the monitor, and the monitor shows a no signal message. I've done anything possible but nothing works. Please help me. I'm in a big trouble.
I have a hp pavilion slim line and has the same issue but it is on Windows Vista Home premium and I’ve tried all these steps and it hasn’t worked. The video cable works as I’ve tested with another device and I’ve bought another VGA female to dvi male adapter but it still doesn’t work. The monitor also work with another device with same cable

+Raymart Sumang I recommend you reinstall the battery drivers: Unplug the charge and use the laptop until the battery drains to 15%. Turn off the laptop and turn it back on after 30mins. Reinstalled Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager, Restart the computer and the issue should be fixed.
I've tried literally everything, no matter what I do, the display won't show up and my peripherals aren't getting any power. I made sure my monitor and cable was fine, so it has to be my computer. There were 4 beeps when I first realized there was something wrong, so I unplugged and plugged in my ram. After that the display turned on only to display an error about the BIOS, so I reset the CMOS I don't know how many times by now. Still nothing. Then I did the entire troubleshooting process a few times, I still didn't get anything. I have come to the (hopefully wrong) conclusion that my motherboard is just messed up. If anyone can shed any bit of knowledge it would be greatly.
I always had a problem with the monitor not turning on. I have my pc for 8 years. But this time is different. It turned on for 2 times and after an hour the screen froze and made a disturbing sound I opened I cleaned I tried the cables thing. Nothing works. Is either service or a new pc. Any advice you can give me please?

Ok I'm in need of help bad because I can't find a solution to my "special problem" on my PC. So I turn on the PC and it comes on just fine but I don't have a keyboard only a wireless one and I have 2 different mouses, but back to what I was saying I turn on my PC then my monitor and it says "Analog Input; Power Save Mode." Then shuts off and the light is red and same thing appears when I power it up. And then it say Move Mouse or Press Any Key on Keyboard, but when I plug in my mouse the red LED flashes on the bottom then cuts of and the same thing happens at every port and I don't know why. Please help!

Thank you. The turning off the computer and disconnecting everything but the monitor, keyboard and mouse worked. I have 2 monitors and it only happened with one but it acted like it was still on which was odd. Anyway thank you so much
