Blake has seen this one before and recommended it to us. 👻 Due to the popularity of the horror reactions and all of the comments, we're working on more stuff than originally planned for this month! Stay tuned and stay scared! 😱
@@RaggedyPack - I just hit the comment where someone said you hadn't had any jump scares yet and I was going to point out that Corey had already jumped big time by that point. Going to finish it now :)
Conjuring 2 is a must see as well, guys. Both films are brilliant! Can't believe they didn't nominate Vera Farmiga for the Oscar. She did such a wonderful job
Rory is actually a good ghost, he was a victim of the past and everything that had happened. That's why he befriended the youngest daughter, April, because ghosts like Rory (younger ones or the same age) usually show themselves to little kids and mean no harm (my elder sister experienced the same thing when she was 5, she had a "friend" who was a boy and the same age as her; same exact birthday. Though she and mediums are the only ones who can see him). That's also why Rory was showing/leading the other daughter to his hiding spot, where he felt safe.
“how are the daughters still asleep after that?” i used to ask the same question when watching this movie because i am a light sleeper that wakes up to even the slightest noise or light…but having experience seeing two of my friends sleeping through a thunderstorm as the ceiling in the next room literally collapsed opened my eyes that wow, some people can just sleep like a baby through chaos i guess 😅
Same story here. When I was five, I notoriously slept through a violent thunderstorm and lightning strike that reduced a little tool shed in the backyard to kindling.
The hide and clap scene when the clap happened next to the mom in the dark that was the biggest scream in the theater. XD The Conjuring 2 is one of the rare horror films that is as good as the first. Keep watching! =D
Fun fact: Apparently in reality, the Warrens actually made the situation worse. The family said that their seance caused the mother to get flung around and she nearly broke her neck. The father screamed at the Warrens to get out and leave. The mother was able to stablise, and the family just abandoned the house. To this day, the house is still supposedly VERY haunted. Also apparently the film cut out a lot of scary appearances that the family said they experienced. Another fun fact: The real Annabelle doll isn't a freaky af ceramic doll. It's just a regular Raggedy Anne doll and it looks very cute! Which honeslty, imo makes it even scarier.
So, do you just make stuff up man? The Warrens visited the Perron family MULTIPLE times over the period of about a month. The last time Lorraine was there they did perform a Seance which then transferred into an Exorcism. The Seance, which was the family’s idea, was done to contact Bathsheba. The mother was aware of her presence and her name BEFORE Lorraine and Ed stepped in. During the Seance, Bathsheba began to communicate through the mother in languages that she did not know. She also spoke in multiple voices and tones. The chair she was in lifted about 3-4 inches off of the ground, and then slammed back down. Ed Warren, even though he is now gone, is the ONLY person the church has approved to perform exorcisms. He began, and completed a short “blessing exorcism” to remove Bathsheba from her body, and property. When they completed EVERYONE in the family stated it was like a weight lifted off of their chests. Ed and Lorraine’s policy, post-blessing and especially post-exorcism, is to not return unless there is a genuine emergency. They were not asked not to return, they never had to return. Also, the family did not run from the house. They actually lived there for quite some time longer, with NO further complaints of ANY hauntings. They had to sell the house before they could leave, it took almost a year. While everyone in the family was emotionally damaged, the only physical damage was a few bruises and that still could’ve been due to her Iron Deficiency. The Warrens didn’t make the situation worse, actually looking back at their entire caseload they never made ONE situation worse. I had the honor of bumping into Lorraine before she passed away, just at a local bookshop, she filled the entire place with warmth and love. She also knew things that nobody knew, not even me about my life. She was more than a gem, she was truly an inspiration and angel. I suggest mate that you do PROPER research before making these wild statements, anyone can post anything on any website. View the case files, find the recordings, but don’t just trust Joe from themoreyouknow.com 😂
@@joshuacoldwater I mean, I got my information from the Perron siblings themselves and their book. And I trust the family themselves far more than a Hollywood version where creative liberties were taken. There's also absolutely no need for you to come on here acting like an utter twat.
@joshuacoldwater I actually got my information from the Perron siblings themselves via their book and firsthand accounts. I'm absolutely going to believe the family more than an idealised version that Hollywood did. Also, the way that you came in here with a sense of superiority shows exactly the kind of person you are. Get over yourself.
@joshuacoldwater Also, not once did I insult the Warrens. Especially considering they only did what they thought would help and they had nothing but good intentions. However, you charging in and taking anything as a personal insult shows you have a very biased view of the situation that you should check on.
Whether you believe in the supernatural or not, believe the Warrens' were frauds or not, this is a solid horror movie..really good from story, to cinematography to sound..Wan's shots are amazing as well..I think I watched this movie for 24hrs straight when it first came out just so I could study his directing style..hope you guys react to more horror.. XO
The Conjuring 2 is great; 3 is more suspenseful than horror, but still worth a watch. I have only seen the first Annabelle and didn’t care for it for traumatic reasons. I was told the other Annabelles were better, but I’ve sworn them off. The Nun was creepy and I think they just released the second one, maybe. Even if you don’t do the entire Conjuring universe, at least do number 2. A solid sequel, imo.
Please watch Annabelle Creation, you won’t regret it. It tells the origin story in such a unique way, it’s honestly my favorite in this entire universe
Actually that’s not true. Lorraine blamed Bathsheba for the whole thing but in reality Bathsheba was never accused of being a witch, nor was she related to one she was however friend with Elizabeth Arnold (one of the family members of the Old Arnold Estate which is what the whole property is known as.) In reality, the evil spirit that causes the haunting was what the family called “The Woman with the Broken Neck” and Carolyn even admitted that the spirit was the one who caused her harm
One of the greatest modern horror day movies ever. I am proud to say I watched every single conjuring movie franchise on the big screen. It's so damn good and such a good thriller. It's iconic!
The thing about the bruises is that they can’t automatically be seen as paranormal, it could easily have been from when she fell down the stairs in the cellar.
@@amandavanderbilt3949I know that however just in general in real life cases…..they can’t automatically be declared as paranormal. In this movie obviously it was something paranormal causing them however, in real life they could be seen as just randomly getting hurt badly like falling down the stairs, or if an actual person had hit her enough times, or even something medical. Carolyn at first thought it was a medical condition that she had because she didn’t know that spirits can physically harm a person.
The movie is pretty faithful to the actual story. Being a movie there were some things changed to make it cinematic. They said the actually story was even more terrifying then what was told in the movie. Also in real life the story didn’t end with the Warrens saving the day. In reality the Warrens made things worse and conducted a seance which went horrible and ended with Roger Perron (the father) punching Ed Warren and kicking them out of their house. They then continued living there for another eight years dealing with the negative effects of the Warrens trying to help.
There's 3 Conjuring movies. The others are spinoffs. Annabelle has three movies and, funny enough, is actually a Raggedy Ann doll, irl. If you want more aboutt he house itself, Sam & Colby have a video coming this Sunday where they stay in the house for 7 days.
When I was growing up, my family would play hide and seek in the dark when everyone came together for a visit (like the summer). It was so fun. There was a gothic-type church across the street from my aunt's house that we used to play it at (with the church's permission, we never caused damage). Everyone would stand together in the parking lot, the seeker would cover their eyes and count, while everyone else scattered. No flashlights, no phones, nothing.. some of the best memories.
Anything made by james wan is going to be a masterpiece in my oppinion, he and leigh wanell who work together on insane projects like saw also together created the insidious franchise, leigh wanell also stars in those mkvies as specs and the real lorraine warren has a cameo in this movie. I highly recommend the insidious franchise for a good scare the movie score is so well done by joseph bashira who also stars as the lipstick faced demon
bruh dont do that . dont say that you want to have once such supernatural experience and what can a ghost do to you. that is the worst case of ...fuck around and find out
Contrary to some of the comments, the Perron family still lived in the house after the Warrens helped them. There are no other reports of haunting at this house since then. And a RI police officer was present. Also, check out the interesting song playing when the Warrens start unloading and setting up the equipment. That is Ryan Gosling Singing with his band.
Scene around at 31:50 In Audience in Front Seat If You Notice Old Lady Sitting Was The Actual Lauren Warren Herself. 🙂☺️ Conjuring Movie Series Is My Most Favorite. 💜
Annabel has nothing to do with this story. They only introduced the doll in the beginning to show you who Ed and Loraine Warren are and what they do. Anabel story comes later with her own movie
Rory's mother killed him, then killed herself. Bathsheba killed her new born. I believe all of you fail to realize this is based on actual events. This is not a typical Hollywood horror movie.
How on earth have people not seen these movies yet😂😅 either way Im glad so theres reactions to be seen . I love the ocnjuring , insidious and anabelle series
You guys are so funny, and dude who,..lol because of abject fear sabotaged his equipment,..lol,..priceless,..but, ohhhh so understandable,..when I discovered about Lorraine and Ed, had no idea they existed, but they had I think been on a few talk shows, and you know background noise, had probably watched them, but like a lot of people, you kinda dismiss it, and never sought out information about them,..but after seeing this movie so got interested in them, and think Ed, Rip, had already died, but Lorraine was still alive, and still appearing on shows, oh by the way, the scene with Ed and Lorraine having that seminar, or class with that audience, the real Lorraine is in the audience, think it's this one, and the scenes with the kids, the girl leaving her feet just uncovered, and the scene with her seeing something behind the door, and that darkeness behind the door, really affected me, for so long after this movie I had a complex about doors being half open, and you know the shadow the door cast behind it,..I would do double takes, thinking I saw the door move in my room, and I'm a grown woman, I've watched horror movies since I was a kid, and B movies like Creature from the Black Lagoon,.or classics like The Innocents with Deborah Kerr, or The original The Haunting in black and white, they were gothic horror, and as a kid watching them, sneaking into the den, while my parents were asleep, in complete darkness, you know as a kid back then was like watching this, the gothic horror, is to me more, leaves more of an impression on you,..saw this movie in theaters, all of the Conjuring and Nun, movies, and was terrified every time,..hands down,..very good series,..the thing about the dog, hmmpf, yes, always pay attention to the animals, not just the dog, but you see the birds too,..the dog, is an obstacle, a guardian, warns you, not just about a burglar, human intruder, but of unnatural things,..always pay attention to them, they know a lot, sense a lot, they can sense earthquakes!,..the dog may have done a little battle, kept barking, and loss the fight, ..you guys are so funny,..,ok, ok some of the movies you mentioned, the B movies, now Maniac Cop is good, the origin story first, is good, it's cheesy, you know a little,..but there is one you might like, Dr. Giggles,.me and a friend went to see it, it's kinda comical, and gruesome as well,..a good B movie can be fun to watch,..Godspeed, Peace ✌
WOW YOU GUYS ARE CLUELESS ABOUT THE WARREN AND HORROR MOVIES ARENT YOU? XD. YES THE WARREN IS REAL AND YES THE WARREN DO HAVE A MUSEUM WHICH IS THE SAME ROOM IN THIS MOVIE IN CONNECTICUT. YOU GUYS TOTALLY SHOULD GO TO THEIR HOUSE AND SEE THE ANNABEL DOLL THERE. ITS REAL AND IN A GLASS CASE SAME AS IN THE MOVIE.
one of my fave Conjuring reactions to watch with my nieces n nephews... i watched this christmas eve, christmas day new years eve and day lol and twice today ... Corey your comment "you cant drop feet...." lol just too funny keep it up boys
fun fact about the movie: this movie is actually nothing compared to what actually happened in the real conjuring house. one of the daughters of the Parron family Andrea wrote a book about her experience in the house and what she witnessed. the directors of this movie couldn’t put even half of the things that happened in real life in the movie because it was way too dark and sinister. this is one of Ed and Lorraine’s most famous cases and in real life, they did nothing but make it worse. they caused the mother to speak in an ancient language and levitate and fly 20ft across the room and she was believed to have died but she didn’t. Andrea parron also has spoke about this incident as she witnessed it with her youngest sister. the house is still extremely haunted but there aren’t as many negative entities in the house as people believe. there are a few but mainly the spirits there just want to be left alone or they like talking.
Well entities are going to retaliate once you decide to get rid of em. Even if it wasn't the warrens helping them some shit would still go down. And for anyone who might think that just leaving it as is would be the solution I got news for you. It will only get worse. Entities feed off of negative emotions so they will constantly instigate things to get people scared or angry. And with evil ones like in this movie they can go really far. Just my 2 cents speaking from my experience.
You guys talking as if this crap is real. lol It doesn't happen in modern times because we have technology to prove otherwise. I mean seriously if this stuff was real then why hasn't there been anymore "legit" cases and happenings since?
I'm still a sleepwalker, in my 30s, & it's so bad that I have to take sedatives @ night to keep me from walking out of my apt. And, it's scary af when you hear clapping in a building wherein every human is accounted for & not moving their hands. I worked for 4yr @ the old WV Penitentiary, as an actor in the haunted house attraction, so spending countless hrs alone in the dark in various areas of the prison, I had many experiences I can't explain.
Me being african the moment Annabelle started acting funny she would have been burnt to a Krisp. Like " hey Anna u wanna see something 😊 " the BOOM fire
We watched those movies together before we started posting reactions on the channel. They're really good! I don't think Blake has seen them though. So maybe we can still react to them in the future -Corey
I ❤ this movie!!! If you watch the whole franchise in order than it will explain it better. They picked 4 cases that were the worst ones and yes it was all based on a true story. Watch them all in order from the conjuring, Anabelle and the nun. They are making the last conjuring movie as we speak. The real Anabelle is actually one of those ragity ann dolls
The anabelle doll was a rag dolly anna doll, this doll was for the movie which is also in the Warren's collection, put in after the film because people thought it was also dodgy
I didn't see them on your channel, the horror ones might kill Blake so I would understand if he wants to sit them out if you do react to them: Non-horror: Everything, Everywhere all at once, Ted lasso (show), Severance (show). Horror: Hell House LLC 1, 2 and 4 (3 you can watch off channel as people including myself don't like it), Butterfly Kisses, Grave Encounters 1 & 2, Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum, The Sadness (Lots of editing needed), VHS, The Evil Dead Series including Evil Dead Rise (my favorite), Sinister, Mike Flanagan shows: Midnight Mass and Fall of the House of Usher
Made it to this video I’m all over the place on y’all’s channel ( aka teleporting ) this movie is highly one of my favorites besides the conjuring 3 :) 😊
Guys, I’m glad you all go into The Conjuring franchise. Go ahead to react and enjoy all the movies under the franchise😊 Besides this franchise, two other movies that I would recommend you all to react to. 1) “Ouija: Origin of Evil” (2016) 2) “The Autopsy of Jane Doe” (2016). You all gonna love it❤ React to it first. Thank me later😏
I’ve watched a few of your guys’ videos and I love you guys already! But gotta say Cojo is so terrible at making predictions 😂😂 in every vid I watch the things he says might happen im like 🥴???? Lmao all love tho just thought that was funny.
You asked what can a ghost do to you? Well a lot. I've had them in my life from birth, They have physically intervened when I was being attacked, saved my family and I from a deadly car crash. A spirit taught me to play the piano, sounds weird, I know. I have many stories of experiences with the paranormal I've had. Only 1 was negative and it almost paralyzed me. I was standing looking at something on my phone when I felt 2 hands grab my shoulders and press down hard, I said "stop it!" He answered "shhh let it happen, you can't stop me" I started crying out of fear. All of the sudden I couldn't move my body, I couldn't bend my knees or put my arms behind me to try to learn the impact. I fell backwards so that I landed in a sitting position and landed hard on my butt, the force in which I landed made no sense considering the short distance I fell. Then he put his hands on my chest and with extreme force he pushed me down and then it was like a large hammer came through the floor and hit me in the back, the pain was excruciating and I heard something crack in my back and a new fear surfaced, "Am I paralyzed" I thought and slowly tried to move my toes, thankfully I could move everything. I got an sms from the cab driver that was picking me up to go to work and with screaming and crying I managed to stand up and walk down 2 floors. When the can driver saw me he wanted to call for an ambulance. I told him I could slide on the seat and he could drive me to the ER. he agreed and got me to the hospital. Turns out that a vertebra was fractured, I spent a month in a rehabilitation hospital.
That sounds awful. I live in a haunted house and have lived here my whole life, the ghosts are very nice (a little shy) and it's haunted by a ghost cat and a five year old girl. Do you by any chance know why the ghost did that? it seems like he was trying to sexually assault you, did he tell you why? just curious.
In regards to why the knocking always happens at 3am; Jesus died around 3pm, so demons/evil spirits mock God by taunting people at 3am & why they use 3 knocks
As someone who gets vibes from the dead (idk how best to describe it), ppl like Ed and Lorraine who actively try to reach ‘beyond,’ end up causing escalation. We are naive to think we can control any type of outcome in this scenario.
You do realize that these situations have already escalated..? They are not actively seeking them out, these are the entities that have already crossed the 'unseen' boundary and are actively disturbing the living. As someone who dealt with possesion, ignoring it does not make it go away unfortunately. Now the people who go on ghost hunts and visit haunted places, yes those are the ones that cause escalation. Because now the living is seeking the unseen.
Pictures falling, glass breaking, clapping, mom shouting, door slamming, falling down the stairs, banging on the door and shouting *girls still asleep* light banging on a loose cabinet door *wut in the-* 🤣 For an old house, that's some quality sound isolation
