I'm a new subscriber at you, from Arad/Romania...having a little service for Jet-ski..Your tehnology is well, but never centering with bearings..because for C3/C4,largement...I prefer the centering first time, only the middle, and after left and right...Better in the block for a perfect aligniament, under 0,05...For competion, must under 0,02... Big like for you....All the best's!Sorry please for my english...
One suggestion: Make at least one of the bearing stands height adjustable. Not all cranks have the same sized bearing on each end! Not that it really matters if the crank is sitting level in the stand, but it kinda helps.
What did the post mounted elevating angle block begin it's life as? It looks like part of a machine I'm familiar with but I can't put my finger on it. Nice work Thanks
Probly too late to help but Rowe makes/made an adjustable crank truing stand, had one but sold it and use a lathe putting crsnk between centers using one indicator.
For an accurate reading you need to take the readings as far away from your cradle bearings as possible. At 0.18, side view, look at where the gauges are taking the readings from. Almost directly above the cradle bearings. Near worthless. Think about it...
