What i love most is how WIDE everything feels, and how Edwards knows to keep the camera on the ground so we get a sense of scale.

He did a great job on Rogue One. The best Star Wars film of the modern age imo

Gareth is getting some great depth of field shots. I still watch Rogue One a Star Wars Story all the time. Can't wait.

Why is no one talking about the camera used here; he is using a Sony FX3 ( around $3900 ) for the whole movie. That's insane on how he is committed to setting standard that a consumer camera which anyone could pick up today can be used to shoot a fully fledged Hollywood movie. I hope this inspires a tonne of filmmakers to create movies with low budget gears that they have!

The more I see of this the more incredible it looks. This really came out of nowhere, I love the look of this new grounded sci-fi which appears to have a variety of beautiful locations and intriguing politics. Love how the Rogue One cinematographer is on this too.* *edit: just remembered their name: Greig Fraser, who also worked on the superb cinematography for The Batman.

Oh man this looks so good! Go Gareth, haven't felt goose bumps for a film in a long while. The visceral story telling, real sets with EXCELLENT embedded VFX makes me so excited for this. ILM knocking it out of the park with this one.

Just from a cinema and I can't express myself how this was F awesome! Thanks you so much for your hard work in creating this vision! There are so many things I love as an artist, so many familiar insparation what I always happy to see on a big screen, there is so much work and love from a crew who I'm sure spent endless hours of overtime to make it alive. Thank you so much guys!

I am so excited to know there is a Gareth Edwards film to look forward to. A fabulous director who is a true visionary and worlds apart from some of the 'big name' directors putting out mediocre content today.

CGI is worldclass. The movie looks really cinematic. Should be more movies like that . Such a quality is very rare Filmmaking 10/10 Story 8/10

film looked and sounded beautiful, and keeping most of the shots centered on the everyday people caught in the crossfire of the war for the most part made the film feel more real, more human. loved it.

I’m really excited to see what Gareth does next. I got a lot of James Cameron vibes from the movie. He seems to be improving with each movie. One day he could be up there with some of the top directors.

The Creator looks amazing, big fan of Gareth Edwards, Rogue One is one of my favorite Star Wars movie and John David Washington is one of my favorite actors, this movie is going to be good 👏👏👏👏

This is what a live action "Ghost in the Shell" (GITS) or "Psycho Pass" should look and feel like! I have no idea what that 2017 GITS was trying to achieve. All I saw was a collection of tropes with a weak story. I hope that the visuals of "The Creator" just adds to an solid story like "Rogue One" did.

I really hope the story’s good-like Spielberg’s AI-because I’m gonna need to stream this for the FX anyway. More fully-realized, edgy, non-franchise sci-fi stories are what we need.
