I had the privilege of getting to hold mitts for David 2ish years ago. My god, I’ve never felt power like that from any athlete. Shoutout circle of discipline man fr. Jamal James came outta COD too. Anyway, I’m glad he’s getting recognition, it’s well deserved.

Yea he on that shit David Morrell fights in Minnesota to avoid vada testing and currently being sued for not testing after agreeing to do so it's two opponents who have made claims ..which makes sense Minnesota and the power he has

You don’t know what that means because you’ve never been tested by WADA (typical 2+2= 🐠 azz right wing comment). If you’re gonna throw out accusations you better back it tf up. I’ve been tested by them 15+ times because I was on the US Nat team. So, what’s your USA Boxing ID# and region?? Let’s see what you’re about. Idgaf what your record is but, you better have at least one fight at 3X3. Cool? Cool.

Best fighter under heavyweight. Comes from the best boxing school ever and adds in crazy athleticism and power that’s we’ve never seen in a Cuban before. 100% the boogeyman. Benavidez turned down the fight and nobody will say his name.

David Morrell is a dog, an aggressive Cuban style is a problem. His footwork sets up his KO shots. He and Subriel Matias are boxers ppl are ducking. Very high risk, low reward. I hope Morrell gets bigger fights eventually. Great video as always 💯

David Morrell in my opinion is the most complete fighter both physically and mentally in all of boxing. The only guy that I can see giving him trouble is Beterbiev. While Benavidez will test him no doubt I don't think Benavidez has faced anything close to Morrell. I know Benavidez used to spar GGG and Pavlik but Morrell is just different. I hope he fights all the best fighters next cause you will truly see his star shine. The fighters that he's faced so far haven't really brought the best out of him cause they are nowhere near his level

He isn’t just a problem, he is THE problem. And EVERYONE on notice. Benavdiez, Mbilli, Edgar and plant all declined him. I have the contracts. Morrell signed a 75/25 to fight Benavdiez. Nothing happened. And they all ran. Because it’s not just the aggression, he can do what riggo did. He can do what Marvin did. He can do what Floyd did. He can do EVERYTHING.

Morrel is in the same category as Boots Ennis, just not as experienced. He shows great tools all around and good athletic ability...but he shines against fodder-quality fighters...and even then he shows holes in his defesne where he leaves himself wide open for counters a better class of fighters will be sure to exploit. If he can put all those tools together and become defensively responsible, he will become a belt holder at 168. He better step up the activity and competition though. He is 27 years old and only has 10 fights vs tomato cans
