This is a reupload of the initial upload. This time it's because my own error, thank you, @amanda-uj9vr for noticing. I reviewed the entire episode, and found an errant picture that shouldn't have been there and a missing video clip, short but missing. I also wanted to adjust the audio, it always sounds different through different sources and through my tv is sounded muddy, I hope it is fixed. this is still very much a learning process for me, thank you for bearing with me through these growing pains. This community is amazing. I am sad I am losing all those wonderful comments, but I feel like this was a good choice. I apologize to those of you that were interrupted while watching, but I made sure that this one was live before making the other private. thanks again.
Scared me.. I was 34 minutes in when I got the "this video is no longer available" message. Thought RU-vid had killed it. Glad it was just a result of your persistent quest for quality!
That said, I had a very clever comment queued up about Pat and her insistence on everyone simmering down whilst she retrieved some lemonade. It's was gold.. alas.. it's lost to time.. ;P
I cannot stress how underrated this channel is. This was a work of art, beautifully narrated. You have a real talent for getting us, the viewer, to feel like the story is happening right there before us. I eagerly await part two LPR! Thank you for this fascinating story.
Part 2 shouldn't be too far away ;). Part 3 might take a little longer as I am trying to secure some special things, and if it is at all possible it will probably push it back a little further, but it will be worth it!
Thank you, I needed that. This episode isn't performing as well as I had hoped, I wondered if people were even watching it. The high five is greatly appreciated
Darren, the level of research you put into your videos is just astonishing. I have never heard of this cult and I’m shocked that I haven’t. Thank you for bringing this to light with your quality work and dedication to present the story with all of the details it needs in order to tell the story fully. I look forward to the next episodes and I’m greatly appreciative of all that you do. I know you spend an on godly amount of hours on your production and I hope you know that it’s beyond appreciated. Thank you for doing what you do. ❤
Why has this channel not blown up? I know other channels that's "similar" to this put out 1 or more a week episodes a week. They started just as this one did as far as subs and views. They are now in the millions of subs and this one went the other way. Imo their content is subpar to this one. LPR's content is far more detailed and in depth. Not knocking the other ones but I guess most of the population is content with mediocrity as long as it comes more often than a better, more thought out and in depth program such as this. Hopefully, this channel makes a turn as far as popularity. It most definitely deserves. Well done LPR. Everything you've put out has been quality work, enjoyed, and informative. Have a great weekend.
Saw an ad for Paramounts new documentary about Synanon and realized I had never heard of this in my life (I’m 20). Most of the things I’ve enjoyed learning about has always been through creative RU-vid videos so when I looked it up this was one of the first videos to show up. Already 30 minutes in and I can’t stress enough how focused you have me. Your voice works so well for things kind of content and I love seeing all these old PSA videos that I doubt I would’ve seen anywhere else.
Thank you so much! This story was fascinating to research, and only happened as a result of the original sort of exclusive case that I caught as it happened. I realized very late in the game that I could not tell that story, without first telling 2 others, and the story of Julie Merar became a trilogy
I can't wait to watch this video 😻. I JUST love the research you put into your work Darren! I don't know how your channel isn't in the millions!!! It's the best channel on this platform hands down!!! Take care of yourself and yours. 🎉🎉 Can't wait for next time!!💖💖
Finally got around to watching this. Your presentation and research are second to none on the topics you make videos on. I've recommended your channel to 3 of my friends now. Keep up the great work
@@LPRPresents You're welcome. I would love to still be a donor (under a different name and going back to 2018) but life has gotten in my way. I will be back though. I have been without internet for a long long time and am playing catch up. Your videos are always above and beyond. I appreciate your work so much and you are my favourite channel.
Thank you so much, im always humbled and amazed by support like this, thank you, thank you thank you! Part 2 is nearing completion, i promise it isn’t too far behind!
I’ve had a folder on AH since season 1! I’ve started it many times, but it’s the lack of information on the victims that has held me back. But his on the run story is as horrific as his first crime. Affluenza.
Also, part 2 is in its way soon! I had hoped to have it finished last week as ut was almost done at the time of releasing part 1, but then I got sick and was laid out this entire time. I’m back on it tho, soon, I promise.
there were so many synanon houses it would have been impossible to name them all. Case Del Mar was their flagship house. This was the story of Synanon and its inception, rise and fall. Not where they practiced.
The forced seritzation for both aexes reminds me mothing short of a concentration camp.nHow they act like drugs are so criminal compated to what they put & are putting SO many children and adolescents through. INFURIATING More infuriating is how it's been for any of these to have an investigating or proper federal inquest into every single one. ...anf all this open. Shut down or supervise heavily

Ya, the narrator has a rare condition called monotonisis. It affects less than 1% of the world’s population. It’s a serious and often overlooked affliction, but we took pity on him, and as it turns out, despite his weird monotone narrator voice, he is a great guy and we all really like him and decided to keep him, regardless. He is currently under intense doctor care for his condition but it isn’t looking good and we aren’t optimistic.
@@LPRPresentsI’ve heard there is an excellent monotonisis doctor at the Cleveland Mayo Clinic that has helped many with this condition. Statistically he has a 10% success rate. Maybe he should look into it there!
@@ranizzle10 10% might not be a promising percentage, but its worth a try. We dont want to lose him, all he has ever wanted is to be able to talk like everyone else, thank you so much!
