Thank you so much for reacting to this beautifully sad movie, I really enjoyed watching it with you! =D And it really was about time someone reacted to it. ^.^ I believe one of the main messages of this movie is: Be thankfull for the life you've got and live each day to the fullest. In addition to what you said that we have to learn to let go when it's time. Did not realise before now the name of the boat Benjamin worked on, Chelsea; my daughters name is Chelsea ^.^

Yes, this film needs some Reaction Love… This is one of the Big face age/ de-age shows… Fischer explores this subject with all of his magnificent skill. …plus, CATE! Oh, the beautiful Cate… let me count the ways… 😊

@@RoninMann You really should check out the Making Of… on this one. The story has a history all it’s own. There must be decades of it… based on a short story from the Twenties. PS - don’t punch anyone 😂 Cate has a great Filmography. Oh, and I agree about her Look. I don’t look at her that way either… She is Majestic. I am a servant her grace. She played Elizabeth and Galadriel. I am powerless.

Directed by David Fincher starring Brad Pitt as a boy who ages backwards and lives a life of obscurity. Based on the book written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Also featuring Cate Blanchett as Daisy

You gotta a new sub just for doing this movie! I totally forgot Elle Fanning played young Daisy. Got more movies for you to do that no one ever does... Count of Monte Cristo, Les Miserables (1998 not the musical) and Second Hand Lion. And I gotta add 2 more for Julia Ormond (daughter reading the story) First Knight and Sabrina. Out of all of them First Knight with Sean Connery, Richard Gere and Julia is the one to watch!

Hi! Thank you so much for all the requests! I've only seen First Knight in that list, but I haven't seen it since middle school! I've been getting a ton of movie requests and may have to make a new Patreon tier to accommodate the demand. However, I can add these to my list when I get a opening to do another movie reaction!

@@RoninMann I personally only watch reactors on RU-vid. I know you guys (reactors) usually do polls on your patreon... I make the suggestion for you to add to those polls and just hope for the best. There's not many movies I won't watch.

If you would like a suggestion for another great life movie.... I keep trying to get reactors to do Mr. Holland's Opus. There are a couple old reviews but no one's actually done a reaction. Anyway a new subscriber I would love to see you do this movie sometime soon.

Oh what an interesting suggestion! I haven't seen that movie since it came out on VHS, so probably around 1996. I'll have to add that to my list of possible movie reactions I do later. Thank you so much for the info!

I just revisited this film and it is beautiful indeed. But all of Benjamin's decisions just don't sit so poetically with me as a 30y/o as they did when I was a kid.

I appreciate that the while the movie had some feel-good moments, it didn’t sugar coat the complicated reality Benjamin found himself in. I didn’t agree with all his decisions either and in the end I felt sorry for Daisy the most for the burdens she had to bear.
