I’ve watched this show from season one until current. I enjoy it, it has been a little drawn out. By this point and all the money they’ve spent to me instead of building the cofferdam, why not like in bridge construction take all that time and effort to do a 40’ x 40’ basically cofferdam in the areas of the money pit and excavate down 200’. If nothing is found then just call it done. By the 15th 6’ wide caisson you’d think that be more efficient from a time and money standpoint

Love the show, it does pull a lot of interesting information from the templars, I’m into history and it’s important not to be negative now a days, let your mind be open to possibilities, I’m an excavator operator and the old saying goes, “you control the water, you control the hole” but the only way they could find anything is to drive sheathing all around and just dig inside with small machines and just keep working their way down, but money only gets you so far, and I’m sure Nova Scotia would not allow that massive dig operation to happen. Go to a massive excavation site in a city for a new building and just look at the scale of those operations. Massive shoring and beams to hold everything from caving in. So I’ll be tuning in and keeping the faith, season 37 episode 283 here I come!

I watch Gold Rush quite a bit as well. They can move quite a bit of dirt. I believe that had you started digging 8 years ago you would have a pit many miles deep in the center of the island.

How about a mini diving bell and a silt vacuum (like ones used at shipwreckeds sights) that empty top side? Silt seems to be covering everything in those tunnels. Everytime a new image of that body comes back less and less visible for example. Stir it up and evacuate it or at least some of it.

I can't believe that Dan Blankenship would've forgot about that diagram showing where the money pit is. I'm not sure I believe that Dan even had that old diagram; maybe History Channel drew it to keep the show going. I believe there is some kind of treasure to be found though, whether it's the money pit itself or whether the money pit is just a distraction, I'm not sure.

Im not obsessed. But I still like this search. The historical details have been fascinating. I like their approach and clean work. I hope they find a big hidden treasure. Wet books of Shakespeare’s originals is not my favorite on the list. Damm them if they failed to imagine our drills.

*In 1795* What they saw in 1795, were the finders of the Oak Iskand treasure leaving. The block was in the tree above the sunken covered hole, left there in a hurry to leave before being seen on the island

The longer you hold on to boost mobile service without them increasing your charges is for them to add more annoyances to your service. Slower speed, more things like x's to shut down things in your visual field, putting more rerun material in your choice subject material. Why don't they use sonar technology? I saw earlier in the show that they use a type of sonar technology. But I know that we have very advance tech that can clearly show what kind of structures deep in the earth. I mean heck you can buy a fish finder now and know the size and sometimes what type of fish!

How can you tell when that tunnel was built by the age of the wood. That wood could be 250 years old but that doesn't mean the tunnel is that old. It could have been built 150 years ago using 250 year old wood!

Something was buried on the island. They will come to realise someone got to it before them. It will just be empty caves and faulted rooms. We have been looking at the money pit all the time from the very first season. See were the shaft is surrounded by the white stones. That is the entrance to the money pit.
