Just looking at this video, you see Djokovic make mistakes he normally wouldn’t make if his eyes were closed like missing middle of the court backhands out wide and hitting his forehand ridiculously short. And Nadal was determined to stop his 7 match losing streak Djokovic had on him. In 2010 Nadal maybe deserved to win, Djokovic wasnt at his physical best, but his 2013, 2014, 2016 US Open defeates were embarassing for Djokovic in my oppinion. Especially losing to Nadal against whom he had no problems playing on hard. Since 2013 US Open Djokovic won 19 sets in a row against Nadal, so he can exhale a sigh of releaf because Nadal beats him hard when it comes to embarasing statistics 🤣. Losing to your closest rival, or anyone for that matter 19 sets in a row, unable to beat Djokovic even once in 9 years since then, and be proclaimed by his fans as a "GOAT", winning fake slams like this year AO, wow, Nadal really can be proud of that 🤣.
