I’ve been playing zombies since BO1 but man I really miss BO3 right now, had so much fun playing and the community was great

Playing and watching CoD Zombies content always gives me this weird cognitive dissonance because on one side, Call of Duty Multiplayer and Singleplayer has struggled for years to become something positivly outstanding and remarkable when it comes to storytelling and gameplay. Not necessarly calling these things BAD but the amount of CoD games that are unremarkable between the really good ones is just so weird. Meanwhile the people responsible for the Cod Zombies experience give me the feeling that they're eating cocain for breakfast in the studio and manage to create some of the coolest things out there during their drug rush. Cool maps, cool and diverse mechanics, storybeats, weapons. I don't know how big that team is but I can not fathom how Activision hasn't let these people make a stand alone game already. Easily a billion dollars right there.

Although I really enjoy Cold War zombies gameplay wise, BO3 is still my favourite just because of how unique all the maps were aesthetically, the great characters, and of course zombies chronicles.

Bo3 is definitely my favorite zombie experience due to map selection and progression. Bo1 was my first and will always have a place in my heart. And Bo2 holds Mob, the best map ever.

I didn’t know that Bricky liked cod zombies. I have probably over 3000 hours over cod zombies in the past decade not including dead ops arcade. Cod zombies is easily my favorite game of all time

Mech arena was made by the same people as raid: shadow legends, so it looks like it's gonna be the new thing for mobile sponsors. No hate to bricky though, get that bag 💪

What i adore from BO3 is especially all the og maps of WoW, BO1 and BO2. It's so nice to have all of them in one game, easy to play if you want to one night

As someone who has been all three types of these players at one point or another starting with casual and ending with hardcore this resonated with me so well and I can't believe you were able to put it into words

I remember spending hours playing Der Riese with my brother and 2 friends in our bedroom playing split screen. Our 360s would be boiling as we were on waves in the 40s mowing down hordes with 4 upgraded MG42s on that one catwalk next to the teleporter. PS: The Beauty of Annihilation trailer is still awesome.

Black Ops 3. The hands down best zombies ever made. The standard maps, the dlc maps, the custom maps. Legit God tier. The campaign, awesome. Multiplayer, incredibly fun. The professional scene, untouchable. That time period on RU-vid was INSANE for each and every option somebody wanted to watch.. My favorite all around cod game to date. People didn’t realize how good they had it back then until the newer games came out. Now we all want to go back to 2015.

Lest we forget that one of the things people enjoyed Black Ops 3 Zombies is that they allowed custom maps a la World at War zombies, which made people like BO3 Zombies more

Bricky I absolutely love zombies and Origins is also my favorite map (Mauer is coming up I really like it) and you’re outlook on the mode is so different from so many community members but also so similar. Keep up the grind

this gives me flashbacks from when you did all the remastered maps in fireside bricky, god I loved that series when it was coming out, it was my moment to relax and sit back for a bit while enjoying your commentary I might go back and rewatch a few for nostalgia

After playing zetsubou enough I just got used to the set up and I found it was worth it for the feel of that map. Just every easter egg, weapon, boss zombies adds to the feel and every location is unique

Panzer chasing you down the muddy tank track is probably the most stressful thing I’ve ever been through.

BO3: it peaked for Zombies, which is only more shown off when every game after it was bad, so it just made it look way better even

I remember the first videos I watched of you were your fireside bricky zombie runs. This took me back. You've kicked ass these past couple of years man and hope you keep kicking ass for many years to come.

Not to mention BO3 on PC having modded maps will always make it a top tier CoD for me. I do love WaW for zombies and the campaign, but their magnetic grip is something I don't miss.

Man do I remember when JCbackfire & Jason Blundel announced Zombies Chronicles, we all thought it was fake, it was a meme...then the video dropped and man it was so fun to hop back on the OG maps.

When talking about BO3 zombies, you gotta mention mods on PC. A bit of unfair comparison but it was the mods that kept me playing with my buds for years after BO3 came out. New maps, weapons, animations, special zombies, easter eggs, etc. Too bad we're unlikely to ever get mods again especially since COD no longer has the Steam Workshop.

Taking the bus as an 10 year old with the boys being chased by hundreds of zombies in black ops 2 is a memory I won't forget

Blacks old 3 is 100% THE zombies experience, some of the best maps ever such as Der eisendrache and shadows of evil (after launch) and all the community made maps like leviathan as well as the classic maps brought back through that dlc I don’t remember

I love BO3 and all the memories it’s given me and my friend, we have been trying for years to duo the gorod krovi Easter egg since 7th grade and now senior year we finally did it

Mad respect for your acknowledgment of the mob of the Dead map. That is my second favorite zombies map of all time 1st being OG Die rise) super fun super underrated and looked really good back on the 360.

My favourite zombies is infinite warfare. I love the themes and style as well as the Easter eggs. My favourite being zombies in space land playing as David hassle holf

it's very interesting that you find freedom to be an important ingredient in the mode. I never thought of it that way. Even though I often play the same way, I'm still allowed to play MY way. Freedom does not necessarily mean replayability (only in combination with the creativity of the player), BUT it means more people can enjoy the content in some way (their way). That said, I personally love custom made challenge maps, that are very limiting and somewhat infuriating. I wish the original treyarch maps would offer incentives/modes like e.g. the first room challenge or no perk challenge WITH leaderboards for hardcore players who are not interested in doing easter eggs. Nice video!

By the way, Zombies Chronicles is free on PS5 for PS+ members! Been playing some Black Ops 3 with mates recently. Feels so good to go back to Moon. so if you already have PS+, and you're looking to jump into some classic maps you've got that as an option

I recently got black ops 3 chronicles edition for the old maps and have not been disappointed, feels just like old times only better.

Don't forget that BO3 also has official support for user made made maps via the steam workshop

not gonna lie. back ops 1 was the golden age for COD IMO. the aesthetics of the zombies, fun of the multiplayer and eastereggs in the menues was super fun

I just started playing BO3 zombies again and it's amazing

Never knew bl3 had all the original maps. Back then I could only play shadows or evil and I had no clue what the hell I was doing in that map😂

My favorites are WAW and BO1.... because it was difficult and didn't let you sprint and slide all over the place.... every time I play these new games they're too easy to me, and so difficult for others because they didn't go through the struggle of the 2 mentioned games

I've also been a fan of CoD zombies for many years and its such a great community, it feels entirely separate from the regular Call Of Duty fanbase. Solving Easter Eggs, guiding new players through them too, hell one of my favorite video game achievements ever was playing BO3 Kino Der Toten and getting to Round 100 for the first time ever using the Thundergun Galil combo. Zombies in Call Of Duty almost feels like an entirely new game, and I'm so glad I discovered it all those years back.

I was kind of hoping he'd tell us how to make big Brick plays on zombies. But he's as casual as I am so.... 💁🏾‍♂️ it's good to hear from you brick-house!

BO3 was fantastic but BO2 had Nuketown Zombies and that shit was my jam.

I'm a zetsubou lover..... But I understand why it's not as liked. I love the adventure feel of it and the atmosphere is unmatched. It's fun to become efficient at it. Great vid tho always love the zombies content

Zombies chronicels is one of the best things that ever happend

A criminally underrated map is buried from black ops 2. That map is pretty easy to set up, has some pretty basic (although mandatory) mechanics, and it has some Easter eggs as well. I’d recommend it if you’ve still got BO2 kicking around.

I think a good rule is maybe to make it so if you gotta build the wonder weapon make pap easy, and if you can just get it from the box pap/power can be a little bit more complicated. This applies for most maps, except maybe origins and even origins qould be a lot nicer if templars didnt turn off generators

My only gripe is that they didn't remaster the other blops 1-2 zombie maps. I always wondered what tranzit would look like on blops 3

Well I just discovered a game breaking bug by accident in zombies. In origins(haven't played any other maps yet). If you get grabbed by panzer during the death animation, the panzer instead pulls you to the ground sideways. You aren't able to move or get up during this time. Unless you are revived. Downing or a instant movement gobble-gum. Even then it's a coin flip. (Happened just before the second to last step) 🥲

Man BO3 is still my fav cod, both as multi and zombies player. I was learning on BO3 and damn I loved those maps, Der Eisendrache is still my favourite of all. After tryharding al BO3 when I got to BO4 I felt like “bruh wtf is this”, I had completed most stuff solo on BO3 and could even do shit on Blood of the dead. It was just too much weird shit. I completed the mansion and greek map solo but thats it. Then there is CW where you follow instructions by pressing interact on X or Y place and 3 steps more on yt and you are on the bossfight. I understand it being easier, but for me that loved both high rounds and the EE, it lack any sense of challenge, lost replayability for it being too easy for the EEs.

I Love zetsu, I always felt like it was slept on. Dead Flowers is my favorite song from the bo3 maps

Even if CW lacks personality, CW’s gameplay is just so much faster and easier to get into. You can jump in loaded up, unlock pack-a-punch, and just enjoy yourself. No need to spend an hour setting up or deal with tedious garbage. That’s pretty much CW Zombies as a whole. Zombies expedited. While that may upset hardcore fans, I’d say for the casual and average player it’s more enjoyable
