Have you guys ever noticed that people dislike a video before they even watch it? Give the video a thumbs up for Margaret’s hard work on this one!

CK, I think the people who thumbs down before they watch it must be bipolar 😄. And I really enjoyed the outro with Margaret at the end, her little monologue. It was nice.

I texted “ouch” to my partner last month! Lol and actually it was well received, he responded that he didn’t mean for his response to be hurtful and it completely deescalated our exchange. I thought long and hard before sending the “ouch” response- it seemed like the safest and most gentle way to express how I felt.

I love both Doctors they're so helpful . I just have had a terrible break up and I listen to the videos all day and night . I have learned skills aad understand what happened to cause the breakdown of our relationship, We are not communicating at all and it feels terrible but I do get encouraged listening to both Margaret and Craig. I wish I could send both Doctors a million dollars for all the hard work they do and all the people they are helping, I pray that I get back with my X but if not I have learned so much about myself. Thank you both for all you do for all us that are hurting.

Hello Craig & Margaret, this is one of the best & most important videos you have made. I wished I had have known this advice when with my boyfriend. A great man who I love dearly, but he broke up with me in the last 6 weeks due to breakdown in communication with examples you mentioned. I've found your excellent channel & been watching & learning so much. I've gone no contact & respecting his wishes since he ended it. Have not heard from him but i don't want to break no contact as he was the one to end it. I really hope he reaches out & we can sit down & talk & really listen to each other & resolve things, as there was so much good in our relationship & he is the one. Thank you again for all you do. X

Can you guys do a video on whether you SHOULD want your ex back? I worry that even if he does come back, it will be because it's failed with someone else or because he's bored or lonely, not because he genuinely thinks he's made a mistake. Is it a sign of insecurity to take an ex back AT ALL? Obviously my ideal scenario is that he was mixed up and after months apart, he's struggled without me and realised his own stuff was getting in the way of us, rather than the problem being me. Yeah right...

My estranged wife was massively negative and never complained. Complaining would have been nice but I'm guilty of not complaining enough too. She stopped expressing her needs but continued to expect me to meet them as they occurred. Full disclosure, I'm slightly avoidant and so was she. Though, she was initially anxious preoccupied. I wish we were in a good enough place to bicker. Haha. That sounds really strange.

I'm still having a hard time trying to understand how when a partner complains about how she feels in a relationship, how the listening partner is not supposed to feel hurt by that or take it personally? I think all of us would want our partner to be happy with us, and when you hear your partner complain all the time about how she isn't happy or you make her feel bad, it just hurts down to the core. I can only speak from personal experience but it just makes me feel like a failure especially if its just complaint after complaint after complaint after complaint with no end in sight no matter what you say or do. Is it just me or does anyone else feel that sort of situation just gets exhausting after a while? Especially when its the same thing and the origins of it are not connected to your behavior, personality or anything like that.

Thank you for all the tips! I have written them down :) I have a question of, if the same issues keep coming up on how to resolve them without them bringing brought up again, in different situations but the same issue? In my relationships, they tend to go around in circles even if we have spoken in a calm environment :/ It is highly upsetting, as I try to be an adult and sort the issue, as I've learnt in my first relationship to not shout at your partner but start to talk hahaah But, same issue of the same issues getting circled. Thank you :)

Man, the first one. Calm down before a fight. I said some horrendous stuff at me ex just to hurt her. I deeply regret these things. I actually would try to walk away from the argument to avoid saying stuff I didn’t mean but she would always follow me around the apartment or block the door so I couldn’t leave and I would get angrier. Just awful. After our break up she would only bring up things I said. But never owned up to her chasing me around instead of letting me cool off.

I’m in the process of not speaking with my now ex I guess, we never actually broke up but maybe it’s me lying to myself, I think she just wanted me to stay in her life but she wasn’t in love with me anymore. Anyway looking back on the last couple relationships I’ve had where they left me out of the blue. I always thought it was them that they were liars that they didn’t do it they said they were going to do. But I now know that it was actually me. I push them away with my love i’ve always gone about relationships well I thought it was being an adult, not playing games like instead of giving them anxiety giving them reassurance that I love them and I’m not going anywhere for any reason. And they all love that but they all end up leaving. I realize now and it’s pretty fucking frustrating. But it was all me I wouldn’t stop texting them until they basically said don’t ever talk to me again. Until they ran off and started fucking someone else. Well thank you Craig. Just hearing all of this, it’s like an awakening. It’s almost made me feel better. It’s kind of giving me closure like I was so confused why she left, I didn’t understand why but now I am 100% know it was me. Armed and equipped with this information I will never ever be heartbroken like this ever again. From now on I’m gonna do the heartbreaking. Muwahahahahsha

I was engaged to be married after 6 years of being together. My ex wife passed away which left my kids homeless. She didnt want my kids so I had to choose between her and my kids. I choose my kids! She dating again by the way after 2months. Lol Our last conversation she bringing up new friend to me. So I decided to just tell her to leave me alone. I felt like I made the right choice.

Does anyone know if medication can help with the obsessive thoughts I have about my ex??
@dreamcore
@dreamcore 6 лет назад
Something which gets your serotonin and BDNF up to normal levels will do the trick. 5-HTP (with EGCg, and l-Tyrosine if taken longer-term) is not a medication but research has shown it to reduce romantic stress. You may find that it relieves the ruminating and obsessing, leaving you simply with anger. Medications would include anxiolytics and antidepressants. SSRIs can cause a person to "fall out of love" and make him unable to experience a strong infatuation. Other methods that boost serotonin include hard exercise, and simply being around people socially.

Hi I believe that the reason for this is wjen Coach Margaret joins they go in depth into a problem or situation and she is there to give us a lot of background. It truly helps people who are suffering to change and transform themselves from within. Information and knowledge is Key to self transformation This is not a quick fix channel.
