For the gentleman having constipation on keto biggest thing for me is getting enough potassium. I eat organic dried apricots in the morning. I also eat a big salad every day and I also take the doctor Berg electrolyte powder. I also take magnesium every day. I also take a good probiotic. Get into a situation where I’m not getting enough potassium the problem will come back.
My gut literally and figuratively tells me Dr. Berg is right about vitamin D. REALLY appreciate this info 😌…. And the matter of the decimal point miscalculation, said with such a straight face, was hilarious. So much thanks ☺️
Dr. Berg is the epitome for good health with his researches about eating good foods for your body so you can be healthy and live a quality life. MJ asked about Lupus, I suggest anyone to watch Goodbye Lupus on RU-vid with Dr. Brooke Goldner also for anyone else goodbye autoimmune. Also another good source to watch is Fat, sick and nearly dead with Joe Cross a guy from Australia that figured out the healing of the body with real juice from fruit and vegetables.
Dr. Berg, could you please what to take to dissolve cysts on both kidneys. My sister has stage 3 kidney disease. Please help us and give us things to try. I love my sister so much! Help please!
I have a question, I have my breakfast at 6:30 and my dinner at 7 or later. Is that bad for me? I can't have my second meal any earlier due to my work.
It would be nice if people stopped asking Dr. Berg questions that he's answered over and over again in his videos, especially gallbladder questions. Go search his videos before cluttering up the chat room with conditions he's made several videos about.
Here's why I don't recommend it: • Regular table sugar is composed of 50% glucose and 50% fructose. • Honey is 60% fructose and 40% glucose. Fructose on the glycemic index is 19 which is low, but the glucose in honey goes directly into the liver. Fructose needs to metabolize in the liver and it can cause insulin resistance, liver damage, and fatty liver. Honey is not a good sugar substitute.
@Drberg bummer. I have been using it primarily as a sweetener I I seem to feel healthy using it. Instead, if I understand correctly, we should use fructose?

To be consider either Halal or Kosher etc it will require slaughter by a person of the correct religion with the right prayers being recited at the time etc etc. it's more they just being an animal or the correct type.
Many people follow their region of choice to the exact level that they see fit, I've attended a Jewish house on Sabbath and been served pork and had alcohol in a Muslin household.
You mentioned anal leaking, and I have that problem. I still have my gall bladder, but get constipated, then when I can go, I have hard stools then it leaks like water. What causes this, and what can I do?
Have you tried adding lots of Spinach to your daily diet, along with Magnesium Glycinate (800mg daily in divided dosages throughout the day)? Also, have you experimented with Zinc-L-Carnosine daily along with an advanced probiotic?
@nolomode14 yes, but I've had this problem for several years. Recently started the carnivore, see if that makes any difference after a few weeks. Also, I didn't mention, I have a bad back that is very bothersome and so a lot of stress, too. But did have the problem before my back started its issues. (degenerative discs)
@@johnpoole7474 You may benefit by seeing a very well rated Chiropractor once every two weeks in regard to your discs. It might be a good idea to also start supplementing with Collagen, Biotin, Ashwagandha, & Benfotiamine. You might benefit from a weightless daily workout along with stretching and simple yoga asanas. If you have had these issues for years, I'd recommend patience and perseverance to address them. You may also benefit from Tudca, N-Acetyl Glucosamine, & "Calcium/Magnesium Butyrate".
Absolutely,That's the very least they could. After they honored JANE FONDA. 52 years after she had 3 American pilots MURDERED after turning their names over to the NORTH VIETNAMESE MILITARY at the Hanoi Hilton AKA POW prison.
As a Keto Functional Nutritionist, the guy with the constipation issue, I felt Dr. Berg missed something. It was very obvious that his gallbladder is sluggish and/or his liver is not properly functioning where it's producing enough bile. Bile is what coats the intestines to make it move the excrements along. When he said he took Dr. Berg's Gallbladder supplements, that made sense why he said that wqs the only thing different he did, when going back on keto, and it helped. He just needs to get more bile supplements, and it prob. wouldn't hurt to do Dr. Berg's recommendation along with it. If he's eating more red meats with a lot more fats, this will help with fixing this issue naturally down the line.
Dr. Berg I agree. VA doctors are something else. As a veteran I hope I’ll never have to use their services. I can run around their youngins in ICU and I’m 63 yrs old…old Neuro ICU nurse.
Place a prepared whole chicken in a slow-cooker, on a low cooking heat for about 10-14 hours, add spices as you see fit, then you can eat the entire chicken, skin, tendons and yes the bones/joints as well to get the collagen and glucosamine that will otherwise cost a fortune in a less bio-available format from a "Health" Food Shop. For best benefit eat with raw bell-peppers.
What exactly is wrong with going to the VA for health care! I’m a nurse at the VA hospital and my patients are getting very good care! My brother had cancer and the VA SAVED HIS LIFE with a stem cell transplant so rude to put down the VA hospital!!
For Dave that did Keto and was constipated, I’m surprised Dr Berg didn’t ask the question on how much water was he drinking. Most of us are all dehydrated and our bodies need water. A gallon of water a day believe or not is what our bodies need. Work up to it though increasing your water each day, and along with your kale smoothie your body will correct the constipation and slide right on out. Plus add mango pineapple and banana to your kale smoothie and you will have a nice tropical drink. Go to goodbye autoimmune for recipes.
