I see the crew was so upset by Fjord's Southern Accent being fake they made 3 separate characters with southern accents in protest.

I love that between Ashton's character and their race being an Earth Genasi, that means Taliesin is playing a literal punk rock.

The best part of the intros is the fact that during Ashton's and FCGs, you can hear Travis and Liam laughing in the background lmao

Love how when Marisa and Lauren are asked to stay while everyone else leaves, people leave a couple things behind while Travis just snatches everything he owns like he took it personally 😂

Well, you know it's a Critical Role campaign when the primary antagonists are furniture and old people. It's the cast's kryptonite.

Travis' foolproof anti-romance strategy: play a character who's 80 years old.

I never thought I would love travis playing an old man so much but "hold on to your butts" cracked me up

I like that each campaign kind of has their own color palettes. C1 was lots of dark muted colors a la any movie set in medieval times, C2 was jewel tones mostly seen in skin colors (fjords emerald green, jesters sapphire, molly's royal purple), and C3 seems to be going towards pastels in addition to an already very strong aesthetic, i'm so excited!!!

Cast at any half-opportunity: "Who's on the Tal'Dorei council?" Matt, the long-game-DM: "For that, the council in the new campaign will be anonymous."

I love how previously Ashley's character was a barbarian who everyone found intimidating but was very sweet and now she's playing a character who looks sweet but is actually extremely chaotic.

I think Orym might be my favourite character ever. I just love how soft and gentle he can be. It's just so pleasant to listen to.

Did I watch the list of FCG's compatriots 8 times, just to watch each person's reaction individually? Yes. Yes I did. And they were all gold.

The fact that one of Travis’s greatest fears is the ring girl and Marisha’s character looks like the ring girl is golden

FCG is so funny but I also just love seeing taliesin and sam have a dynamic together, I’m looking forward to what will come of this

My personal theory: After being killed in practicly every campaign, Taliesin just created a barbarian just to be sure his character survives 😂

It´s been two weeks since I finished M9. Almost felt like a grieving period of some kind, watching a bunch of fan edits and "best of"´s and just...being nostalgic. Now I´m ready to start catching up on Campaign 3. I feel like it´s gonna be yet another wild ride.

Don't know the concept of the game don't know any of the lore or what it may be but I found these guys on shorts and after binging their library I'm actually not ashamed to say this is my first episode and first experience to the game. Kudos nerds (said out of love of course)

I saw a lot of c2 fanart on Tumblr a few years ago, but it was the animated series that drew me in. To realize it's only been 10 months since the show aired? I binged the series twice and both campaigns. This is some of the best storytelling I've had the pleasure to experience.

Travis saying 'clout' confusedly as an old man was honestly one of the biggest highlights of this for me

Sam’s ‘shiny day to you’ after Laura dragged him away to safety was just comedically perfect. He is so good.

I ❤ how Laura and Marisha's voices for Imogen and Laudna are like impressions of Rogue and Helena Bonham Carter. 🙂

I watched this live as my first real DND show. It took me a few episodes to realize that I was missing some reference to the first 2 campaigns, so I stopped and watched those first. Almost 2 years later I'm back and realizing there is WAY more than I was aware of! I know I'm really behind, but the wait was worth it!

My favorite thing so far is that Taliesin went from Caduceus, who said maybe 10 cuss words total, to Ashton, has cussed more than that in the first ten minutes of his introduction.

Ive replayed 2:24:22 at least nine times already and it gets every time. Highly Recommend for Sam shenanigans if you're having a bad day.

The fact that Robbie talked so long about how Dorian is clean af and then here comes Laudna with black goop is the best.

I think the dynamic between Laudna and Matt's terrified NPCs is going to make this campaign for me.

I don't play or even know much about D&D, but after seeing multiple funny clips and YT shorts from their sessions, I thought I'd check it out. This was the first time ever see a proper D&D game, and it was so fun I watched the entire 4 hours in one sitting lol. I don't know if most D&D games are like this, or if it's just because they're all good actors and can really get in character and immerse us viewers with them, but I could really picture every "scene" in my head and it almost felt like watching an epic adventure movie or reading a good fantasy novel. I also love that they don't take themselves too seriously, there are so many funny moments, it's great. Ashley's character is probably my favourite, I can't quite tell if she's being sarcastic and chaotic, or if she's playing a kind of sweet and innocent character that genuinely means what she says, but it's adorable and funny and absolutely love it.

I love how nimble Orym is. The feint and jumping is really cool.

I love how Laura's character is introduced as this shy woman who seems utterly terrified at the prospect that someone might suspect she's slightly modest.... and then *Marisha introduces a character who is unapologetically walking cackling death pacted to some unholy entity.*

The fact that Matt can do So Many different voices/mannerisms is just amazing. In fact, they all are so good at different voices and mannerisms.
