I am 55 years old and in relatively good shape. After having watched this video, I requested this driver for Father's Day and what a difference in my game!! I did not even take this club to the range before my first round. As I approached the first tee box, I told myself to just swing it slow and easy. That's what I did and the ball fired straight down the fairway about 240. I used the club for 3 more holes and got out to 260 as I was feeling more confident with it. I am so excited about this club that I think I am going to go buy the 3 wood! Love this driver!

After buying this driver and using it for two rounds, I went and got a 3 and 5 wood. I loved those so much that I snatched up a 3-4 hybrid too. This product line has been phenomenal for my confidence and easy on my wallet (compared to the other brands). I have about 25 rounds with them all now and I couldn't be happier with them.

What I love about your videos is how you cover so many brands. So many amateurs think they need to be brand loyal from wedge to driver, but your reviews show there’s so much good out there, and that we just have to find what works. I have Callaway woods, Wilson irons, and Taylormade wedges, and couldn’t be happier

I got this driver about a month ago and it has transformed my driving game. I had been using a very old Cleveland Launcher that I really liked, probably 15-20years old. I bought the Turbo Launcher online without ever testing it. I just had a good feeling about it and watched some videos. It has added distance, accuracy, and confidence when I drive the ball. When you hit that sweet spot it just shoots out like an effortless rocket. Love this club!

I’d buy that driver for 2 things The sound. Love the old style big Bertha warbird sound The look, it’s gorgeous at setup It looks like the front of an m2 driver with the split crown and the back of a ping driver. Nice video, I’ve owned tm r580xd, R15 (current) and PING g5. It’s all in the right shaft though

Had a Hi-Bore in the bag for years, love/hate relationship! I loved it, the sound and when I connected, it went but .. it hated me.. couldn’t swing fast enough. Still use the Cleveland CG Red Irons tho ♥️

Jonathan Gallacher yes but what he’s saying is, why would you spend 500$ on a driver that doesn’t help your game when you can spend 350$ on a driver that will perform the exact same in most peoples hands... I buy used gear for this reason, I let some rich dude “use” a club for 2-3 years then buy it used in mint condition for 100$

I agree, many would improve by keeping there old driver and spend the money on lessons. A good golfer can hit a bad driver well but a bad golfer won’t hit a good driver well.

I am still playing a 2013 Cleveland Classic XL and I absolutely love the sound and performance. Cleveland drivers also come with excellent shafts right off the shelf. Adjustability is a double edged sword in the hands of a higher handicap player as they will be constantly adjusting the driver as opposed to working on a consistent set up and swing. I see guys at the range who spend more time with the wrench in their hands than the driver.

I have played Cleveland right through the bag since the early 2000's and almost every product they make is quality.... They're not just a wedge company, if you want quality kit on a smaller budget without compromising anything then Cleveland is the brand👍🏻 I was one of the longest hitters at our club for years using Cleveland drivers... 👌🏻

Bought this driver this week. Love it. Its long, Im hitting it straighter and consistent. When you nail the sweet spot it lets off this really loud and high pitch ping and I love that too.

I used to love Clevelands. Played the Launcher 460, Hi-Bore and still have my Hi-Bore XL in the garage. It seems like they were lost for a few years recently though.

I actually still swing one of their older HiBore drivers and I absolutely love it.. I have bought a R11, a M1, a RBZ, TS1 and G400 over the last few years. And every time I'll get through a couple 18s and end up with my HiBore right back in the bag. That being said, I am glad you posted this because I am now extremely looking forward to picking up one of these new Clevelands! Thanks!

My most recent Callaway driver was the Fusion model, today I'm 4 rounds in with my new used Cleveland HB Turbo driver, 10.5* with the 2* draw set-up. This driver has improved this 80 year old golfer's game. My golf cart partner was a college baseball pitcher and he reminds me occasionally it sounds like we're as the college world series when I hit the driver. Also, finally put aside my 16 year old Taylormade RAC oversized irons and put the Cleveland HB hybrid irons with graphite shafts in the bag, also a used set 4 - PW. They are not as long as the RAC's but much straighter, definitely an improvement. Since sand has always been a problem I got the Tour Edge One Out 56* sand wedge with the super bounce sole, it's the first gimmick club I bought and this old guy now gets out of the sand with one shot. KeepSmilin'

I've hit the original hi-bore and the classic when it came out. Cleveland makes some good stuff, but it's never fit my eye. This new one looks nice with the deeper face, which means a smaller footprint usually. Definitely interested. I play an AFO golf bonded driver already, and as a fitter - lack of adjustability doesn't bother me.

Thanks for this review Rick! After watching it multiple times and trying out the Cleveland Turbo HB I found a slightly used model on the internet for only $275. Have only been to the range with it a couple of times so far, but I like it (especially the sound!). As someone who fights a fade/slice, the upright lie angle and slightly closed face are perfect for me (although as you pointed out, it seems to have a slightly left bias so it might not be ideal for everyone). Think I may investigate the 3W next! Thanks again.

Great Video Rick! I just tried the Rogue driver this morning and had a fitting session. Turns out I can hit standard clubs, but I could use a 1 degree flat loft for a slightly better feel. Thanks to your video's and advice I now know where I stand with swing data and I can make an informed decision on new clubs. The money was worth it to find out swing data!

When I think of drivers, Titleist, Taylormade, Callaway, and Ping come to mind first but Cleveland is always under my radar for some reason. They make great stuff by the way.

Smarty.. me too...ST 180G and ST 180 FW. BUT when I put the ST 190 dvr and TS 190 set to + 2*, ball seems to jump more with lower spin, ie, more run out. Both good heads. 👍

I had the Cleveland Hi-Bore XLS for years and was ready for a change. I was planning on switching brands to a Taylormade or Cobra, but made sure to give the Turbo a a try after watching your video. I went to the golf shop and tried all the latest drivers and the HB Turbo just felt right. I was hitting it straighter and farther than any of the other drivers. I picked it up and never looked back. Very happy with my purchase specially that it's a couple hundred bucks cheaper than the big boys.

I bought one of these. The first "higher end" driver I've ever purchased. LOVE IT. since then I've compared it to the Cobra Rad speed and the M6. I keep coming back to my Launcher Turbo. underrated club in my opinion. I just picked up a set of HB Turbo irons and look forward to seeing how they play as well.. enjoy the videos!

my very first driver was the original Cleveland launcher with the gold shaft (2002). I was a big fan of Cleveland irons back then. I would love to see them make a comeback!! Thanks for the video Rick

This is absolutely awesome!!! My courses club house has been letting me use this exact same 9 degree Cleveland turbo for the last month . They actually let me open it brand new and go demo it. Of course they are trying to sell it to me. One huge thing about this driver is the black color cupface. Every time I hit the ball I can easily see where I hit the ball!! Then just wipe it off with my finger and a little spit gross right LOL! But because of this one little fact I've been able to learn the exact set up every time. I am definitely due for an upgrade from my 2009 Nike Sasquatch. Cheers

Thanks for making this vid. I just came back from a fitting for hybrid and 3 wood. Going into it I was very open minded and didnt have any club preference. I feel I got more out of it than if I went in with I already had a club preference. With that open mindedness, I was fit into the Cleveland Launcher Halo hybrid and the Cleveland HB Turbo 3 wood, 2 clubs that I really havent seen many reviews on. Thank you for stressing that we golfers need to be more open minded, cheers! 🍻
