Sometimes I have a feeling that Disney nowadays is ashamed of their past; the past that made them so beloved by audiences all over the world. They remake many of their old movies, especially ones overly sensitive people would call offensive, softening and modifying them to the "modern standard". Their new movies are all CG and not traditionaly animated, lack traditional villains, and feature meta-jokes that bring up old Disney tropes and mock how stupid they were. And as one more example, in Poland we had this TV and cinema marathon of "100 years of Disney". What were the movies presented in the "100 years of Disney" marathon? All post-2010 CG movies and live-action remakes. It's really a great shame. Anyone else got this feeling?

On first viewing John Carter was a bit long and a bit messy..Years later I showed my grandson it and we both enjoyed it. It’s pathetic. I was looking forward to enjoying stuff with my kids. We watched 90s X-Men together and they loved it. Mando season 1 & 2 was great. But about the third episode of Kenobi, my loving wife, who normally falls asleep because she’s not the biggest SW fan in the world, shouted, “What the hell is going on? This is STUPID. We are not watching any more of this trash.” We were so shocked she had an opinion that we immediately complied. So we’ve just been watching 30 and 40 year old anime ever since, and they love it, even when it makes no sense.

He Knew the Only Character that Would work...that Could work and that was Luke. But the released Images Prior to S2 finale in the Offices of Lucasfilm where pictures of Luke Skywalker CROSSED OUT in RED were posted around the Cubicles to Remind Staff that the OT Characters were FORBIDDEN...Especially Luke Skywalker. To Her...Luke Skywalker represented George Lucas Himself as His "Self Insert", compared to Her self Insert with Rey Palpatine. Favreau, to Do His Job Essentially LIED to KK and Kept the End Scene with Luke Skywalker and Mark Hamill Plan a TOTAL Secret. The Xwing, the Cloak hallway fight right up to Luke and Grogu saying Goodbye with R2...SHE HAD NO IDEA UNTIL THE DAY the Episode Dropped what had happened. The Response to Luke Skywalker being the one, the Only One who Could have answered Rubber Yoda's Call, Lol, that would get ALL the Eyes on this show was Luke. The Real Luke Skywalker...Not the disappointment of Luke Warmwater.... The REAL Luke, Post Return of The Jedi...a Badass. For Favreau to Do the Job and Succeed as he did with that finale in SPITE of her standing Declaration of No Men and Definitely No Luke Skywalker...Caffeine Kennedy took that as Insubordinate Betrayal...and Because Favreau was NOT an EMPLOYEE of Lucasfilm...But a Hired Independent Contractor...He Technically Had NO Standing to explain the "Insubordination and betrayal" he just committed. Think about it, that finale did More in 4.5 Minutes than the Sum Total Hours of Everything KK had led up to that point. He EMBARRASSED Her in 4.5 MINUTES...with a Guy with No FACE, a Rubber MUPPET, a Handful of REAL Girl Bosses...and the REAL LUKE SKYWALKER. 4...and a Half....Minutes. He Out Performed her.
